"We were recommended this place by out hotel and my fiancee really fancied some cured meats, cheese and wine.... and Wow, did this place deliver you can have a set board, or make it all up yourself, I loved the menu ordered system with the little tick boxes and customization, makes it feel way more fun I am vegetarian and there was LOADS for me still to eat and the wine paired with it was amazing Its quite a busy, hustle and bustle place, but that is kind of the pint and adds to the charm I think If you are in the area, its DEFINITELY worth checking out for sure"

"first time in dijon; first time in this restaurant. It was one of the most pleasant meals we've had for a long time. unexpected flavours and textures at a very reasonable price., the dining room is small; warm welcome and service. It is essential to book a table. If you don't speak French well, ask someone to call you. You won't be disappointed. Don't let yourself be left by its neighbours who are fast foods and the "caffees" of the Middle East. It's only 10 minutes. walk to the city centre. we don't know too much Japanese cuisine and were not confident enough to prepare a selection of complementary dishes. We were delighted to see that menus are offered and we chose one of the three dishes at a modest price.24 €. fruit.) our main dishes were tender scalopes of pork (black pork of bigorre) also with notes of citrus. and garnished with sesame seeds. a different rice dish was served with each dish. My wife chose mixed sushi on the map. the service was generous and tasty. our desserts were pieces of caramelized orange - delicious. there are choices on the menu at 24 € - we were three to have preferred the same dishes. It doesn't matter whether it's a meeting between Japanese cuisine and French cuisine, it looks like a paradise wedding! the wine map is well chosen and at a reasonable price. -in no case a common combination in france. our white, the second cheapest in the list was so good that we had to have another bottle. "My boyfriend and I came to celebrate my birthday, we ordered the 3-stroke menu, which according to the waitress was A LOT of food. The dishes took a long time, the service is average, you pay a lot for dishes that taste just ok, nothing memorable. In other words, a €100 menu in which the dishes are barely explained, the quantity is very small. It's not worth the visit, I certainly don't recommend it and I won't be returning. Ps: the egg starter is very good."

"Fresh food served with great passion from a chef that is clearly passionate about Mexican fusion cuisine. Taste is fresh and very satisfying. Chef was friendly and has impeccable English language skills.I ordered, at Lunch, a large Prawn Wrap, which I demolished and ordered a second chicken wrap with Diablo chilli sauce. Which was really tasty. Clearly not as hot a chilli sauce as it would be in the UK, US or indeed in Mexico but obviously it's Scoville scale heat has been tailored for the spice palate of the French in general. Varied menu with salads, a chilli soup of the day and a multitude of wraps on offer. And at a incredibly reasonable price. I doubt you can get as filling, fresh and delicious a meal anywhere in Burgundy for 5 euros!!In French, on the serving bar is a quote/sentence saying 'that all orders are put together with Love'. Ordinarily I don't subscribe to such obviously hollow marketing but in this case it completely true, in my opinion. The passion exudes from the Chef.Just go there and you'll see I'm not exaggerating.Thank you Tex a Way and if I find myself visiting Dijon again you'll be first on my agenda for culinary visits."

"We discovered this restaurant several months ago and we return there regularly. a map that changes over the seasons and a wine map more than complete. The dishes are really delicious, from entry to dessert, and for not so expensive seen quality in the plate. the staff is really very pleasant, which is not always the case everywhere. "It's a normal Tuesday night. We arrive on 20.05 for our table. It takes 40 minutes before you can order anything. the dr wine could have already sold us a few drinks while we were waiting. When we made a remark, the nice waiter offered us two glasses of the house, at the end of the meal. we ate three plates of the size of the tapas, all pleasant to very pleasant. with dessert (cheese, panacotto,) the server promised to bring a glass of special wine, but unfortunately it forgot. with good service, the experience would have been much better, the dr wine would have sold more and would have received a tip. Hope the boss is free on Tuesday night."

"Nothing fancy or pretentious here. Simply some of the best food in France. We started with gougéres which were light, tender, and oh, so good. Next was a soup made from puréed lentils, also excellent. Both of our plats were served on a bed of puréed carrots and accompanied by wonderful ratatouille. Chicken Gaston Gerard was quite tasty, but the piéce de résistance was the boeuf Bourguinon, so perfectly cooked and with such flavor that I can not believe that I will ever taste a better one. The lunch portions were just right, although I could have happily eaten the boeuf until I exploded. Small but adequate wine list. Highly recommend this charming little place just off of the Place de la Libération."

"To finish a stay in Dijon, we discovered this Japanese restaurant. Incoming, we discover a small room. Hesitant, we ask for a table for two. The server asks us to follow it to discover a room in a vault. Comfortably installed, the reception is ideal. The waiting time is low. Just talking. The choice is sufficient to understand that the map is made home. We command an aperitif. For my part I let myself try by the Gyudon while my companion chooses the Oyakodon. These bowls of rice with meat and vegetables are melting, seasoned, while remaining light. Served with a miso soup and a cabbage salad, this menu is available in terms of prices and warms with these cool times. I highly recommend. "We had lunch at the cariatids a noon. we opted for the suggestion of the day, entry/plat/dessert. In the entrance a simple slice of country bread with a crushed tomato and mozzarella. pork dish and some vegetables. a dessert with a poached apricot and a very fade verben ice cream. all for 28€. It wasn't bad, the meat was tender, the entrance and the nice dessert, but it was simplissimo, there's not the little touch we're looking for at a renowned chef. This is equivalent to an improved brewery meal. However, it was not always that way. Finally, the reception was not coming, the basket of bread and the water carafes remained empty from the end of the entrance to our departure."

"Au cours de notre visite de Dijon, un jour où le temps était morose nous cherchions un lieu pour déjeuner tranquillement. Exit fast food, pizzeria, sandwich, nous voulions un vrai repas au chaud.Au détour d'une rue, la rue Bannelier nous avons découvert ce petit restaurant. La formule du midi nous a donné envie, une cuisine simple et familiale, alors nous avons poussé la porte. Un accueil très sympathique, un cadre agréable et des plats goûteux, une carte réduite mais rassurante en se disant que c'est du fait maison. Bon à savoir : le service du vin se fait également au verre.Le tarif est largement correct, deux menus (entrée, plat, dessert) deux verres de vin et un café pour tout juste 40 €. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous étions comme à la maison !!"

MUST VISIT IF IN DIJON!!This restaurant takes everything that is fine french cuisine and presents it like a five-star Michelin restaurant. The food, atmosphere and wine were more than I could have ever expected in a small town outside of Paris. They start you off with small bits to tantalize your pallet as you choose your 5-course meal from the menu. Those small bits are whatever the chef comes up with that day with some of the freshest ingredients you've ever had.When it comes to wine, we asked for the menu and the owner was like no no the Sommelier will come to help you choose the wine which goes best with your meal. They have their very own Sommelier can you imagine. It was my first experience having someone choose the wine which goes best with my meal, but it was out of this world the wine he recommended. I took a picture, hoping when I returned to Montreal I could find it again. The food, every course was out of this world. Displayed in the most beautiful way possible with so much flavour. I decided to try something local I had never had before in my life, pigeon. Oh yes, right now your questions did she really just say pigeon? I did and it was out of this world; Pigeon from Corton, the back rubbed with vanilla seed, the thigh caramelized with shallots and melt in your mouth Charlotte Potatoes. OMG!! It was worth the risk of ordering something different. That was my main, for the Entree, I order; Foir Gras, I had numerous local cheeses before the desserts started. They allow you to choose a specific desert, then while you wait to bring you 5 small little desserts the chef decided to make that day. By the time you leave this amazing restaurant, you will have eaten some of the best food of your life and wish you lived close by to return again, again and again. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to you."

"It's good to have a reasonably healthy rapid restoration alternative to quick or mcdonald's in france, and something different (maybe even exotic according to French standards) from the hamburger and the usual fries. It's also great to have an Asian cuisine without having to pay the prices of the restaurant. That said, if you are looking for a real authentic Asian meal, you might be disappointed.
