"the coffee cannot be missed in the least. Eat tasted incredibly fresh, healthy and very tasteful with generous portions. the coffee is probably the best I tried to taste incredible taste and did not want it to end. service was okay, need improvement therefore why I have a 4*. a waiter was very friendly and helpful, but 2 of the waitresses were a little unwilling. the service was a little delayed than what I expected. I would definitely recommend again here for the big eat coffee and. big local gem!"

"Arrived in Esher around 2pm on Saturday after long drive and desperately needed some lunch before an appointment. We walked the high st. And chose a little cafe for a quick snack..Cafe Menta, honestly we were a bit apprehensive but WHAT FANTASTIC FOOD WAS PRESENTED. I had a Panini with bacon,avocado and masserela. I asked to swap the cheese for tomato..no problem,! My wife had a BLT, WOULD YOU PREFER IT TOASTED.. YES PLEASE.. And 2 pots of tea. The food was well presented with green salad and they were really fabulous with lots of bacon. Also the guy was really friendly . Highly recommend this little independent cafe. Thankyou."

"A beautiful large college campus that offers a wide range of college courses over 2 campuses. The buildings are well placed and the surrounding areas of forest holds a walking path that leads to a car park, local pub and Weybridge train station. Here you can also find a cab service that stay around the train station. The campus has a parking area as you enter and a security hut that you have to approach before being allowed on site. As a previous adult learner here, I would recommend this college to anyone as one to check before they make their decisions."

"Great place, offering a good variety of food and drink. The 1955 Club sits somewhere between a cafe and a restaurant, offering breakfast dishes, a selection of coffees and smoothies, alongside alcoholic drinks and meals. "We go here regularly and have never had an issue, in fact my mother in law, son and myself have been coming for breakfast most Saturdays since my son was born and he is now 8. We mostly have the same, three croissants, two teas and a coke. Today there was apprently no fig jam and the croissants were picked straight from the counter and served, not even warmed. Very small details but that's what makes it a nice experience. Also we normally have one member of staff serving us, today it was one of four and even though it wasn't that busy we had to fight for their attention. Just not the service or quality we love"

"Our daughter just recently celebrated her 8th Birthday at Pizza express, Cobham M25 services. From the moment we spoke to Fazel, and Elise on the phone we knew it was going to be a great party, but they really did exceed all the expectations we already had. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly team, and taken to our designated party area which they had decorated with balloons, they had created a pizza making station for the children too. When the guests arrived they were taken on a behind the scenes tour of the kitchen, and restaurant, which they loved! The chef then gave all the children a live demonstration on how to make different pizzas, from classic to romana. They were then off to make their own pizzas, they all loved rolling out their own dough and creating their own pizzas. The Children all went to wash their hands, chat for a few minutes then they were all ready very quickly. They were provided with Cordial and dough balls, the parents were able to order refreshments aswell. The pizza is great here too, next time we fancy our pizza express fix we will be coming here. The Chef and Fazel were engaging with the kids, cracking jokes and making it a fun experience for all the children. Afterwards the children were all awarded with personalised certificates, and we all sang happy birthday. The party was very good value for money, entertaining for children age 7-14, each one of the staff made us feel special, and nothing was too much. The atmosphere is lovely there. Olivia our daughter said it was the best party she ever had, we had great feedback from our guests, and our 14 year old son and his best friend had great fun too. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone for their childrens next party."

"Our regular 'go to ' Chinese was shut for summer holidays and so had to make a last minute alternative for a takeaway. Very convenient as a 3 minute drive away (don 't bother with delivery unless your are a lot further away and then if you are there has to be something else as good more local). I am presuming this is now just a takeaway. There are tables but none were set. And the place is tiny. You have to walk through the tables to get to the place to order/collect your food. Food was ready quickly 15 mins which sadly means they probably had not a lot of custom on what was a midweek night in summer holiday season. No one else was in there in the few minutes I was there. OK, so my review of the food is based on only two dishes, a rice and some prawn crackers so no idea whether what I had was representative. One dish was good. One was bland. Portion sizes on the small side and so larger eaters than us will probably have wanted more for 2 persons (which then starts to make it expensive). Paid about the same as my go to place so it will be back to there next time. In this day and age surprised to see they offer 10% discount for cash on collection for orders over £20. They must have a very bad arrangement with their card payment processor."

"was in the hotel oakland and found this beautiful place near the day of departure to the breakfast. friendly staff and all food freshly cooked. appropriately expensive and tasty eating and we all had different, a full English, a vegetarian English, a bean on toast and speck sandwich and a person had a slice of carrot cake that was really moist. the next time we are on this wise, it will definitely have to do. would be highly recommended."

"I have been to this little gem in Oxshott many times now. I keep going back as you can always expect brilliant food, friendly staff and excellent service. The atmosphere is the cafe is always pleasant and buzzing. The staff are so friendly and always happy to accommodate you and your needs. The menu is well varied and they have even changed menus with the seasons. There is lots of lovely cake and tray bakes to eat if you don’t want to have cooked food. It caters for all ages and even offers cake pops for the children. The coffee is delightful and made by properly trained staff. The food is lovely and comes exactly how it says. I’ve read some people complaining about no side salad, but how often do you eat it? If you wanted a salad then order a salad not a sandwich (harsh but true). I can’t recommend this cafe enough for a breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea or light lunch. I’ll be back many more times in the future."

"Now rebranded from Maru to Domo this restaurant has maintained its excellent quality. I have been eating here with my family for years now. I have eaten sushi all over the world and can honestly say that the food at Domo is very good. It...is certainly the best sushi in the area and I think the food holds up well compared to London restaurants like Nobu and Sticks n Sushi. It is an intimate atmosphere, fairly priced with a small team of very friendly staff."

"We booked a table at Pizza Express Walton tonight 11th May thinking it may be a little busy but when we turned up we were the only people there we asked about heating or even blankets and was told no we have never supplied outdoor heating we were then told the restaurant just along has heating ! Great business tactic there Anyway we order drinks and pizzas and decided to grin and bare it ...at 9.15pm we went inside to order a coffee as no one came out to ask if we wanted dessert and was told sorry coffee machine not working so i said not working or just being cleaned and you just dont want to do it ? So once i said that he said yes sorry but its late and we are no longer serving coffee ! My reply was ive sat outside with no heating and i want a coffee the manager then appears and said ok we will do it ! ....all this branch wanted to do was close down early and they just couldnt be bothered if that is the case DO NOT OPEN ! I would have thought you would he rushing to open the doors to customers not making the dining experience even worse than it already was .... P.s...when we went to the ladies we noticed their used blue masks on the tables ...not a good look when its meant to be cleaned down to prevent the virus ..... Note to Pizza Express if you state 10pm and someone orders coffee at 9.15pm.pls accomondate the manager the waiter just couldnt be bothered totally unimpressed by tonights experience will not be rushing back to this place"

"This is a wonderful traditional tasting fish chip shop which has a busy take-away service plus a lovely sit-down area. The food is fried the 'old way ' ie in animal fat, so is not really for veggies. Although I 've tried the take-away, the restaurant really comes into it 's own. The shop is owned by two likeable Turkish boys and their emphasis is on freshness. The waitress who is normally there used to own the shop alongside her brother (Christy). She is the epitome of what a great waitress is-she knows both her clientele and warmly greets you whenever you arrive-and she also knows which fish is the best and will make recommendations.They normally give you a free starter-either a few unpeeled cooked prawns with bread or rolls/butter or mackerel pate-both delicious. The portions are gigantic and well cooked. With the fish comes a variety of condiments-all free. Gherkins, mayo, ketchup, plus a small salad on the plate itself alongside the fish. I 've not managed to eat everything a few times-and I LOVE my fish and chips on a Friday. This is a little gem of a place but because of the method of frying would only go once a month. Highly recommended."

"We've now eaten a couple of times at The Deli on a Friday night, and have had a great experience both times. The lovely owners Chris and Louise go all out to give customers a welcoming, relaxed, no frills experience, and the food is great. The menu is limited and simple no nonsense, fresh ingredients, well cooked and served with a smile. These guys know what people want from an affordable, local place to eat, and deliver in spades. Decent wine, Italian beer on draft what more can you ask for from a neighborhood deli? Last time we all had the Aberdeen Angus burgers you couldn't honestly have bettered them in a high end burger restaurant. Pizzas being brought out also looked fab, and I understand the Thursday Thai night and monthly Friday cocktail evening are also worth experiencing. I might think about getting rid of my own kitchen..."

"We took my Mum and Dad for Afternoon Tea at the Woodlands Park Hotel as a treat to celebrate their recent 90th and 95th Birthdays. The food and drink was excellent but the service was very disappointing in two respects. Firstly we arrived in good time for our 3.30pm booking slot but I stood at Reception desk for a full 10 minutes and was completely ignored. The one member of staff behind the desk was sorting out an IT problem over the phone and completely blanked me not even an I 'll be with you in a minute . After 10 minutes I set off round the hotel to try to find any member of staff who might be able to tell me where we needed to go (the website suggests that Afternoon Tea can be taken in any one of three rooms but our reservation confirmation did not state which). I found a member of staff and was directed to the Oak Room. The second disappointment was that the two staff serving Afternoon Tea clearly had no idea about the etiquette if taking afternoon tea . We were given our pots of tea a full 10 minutes before any food arrived. Eventually I had to ask one of the staff when we might expect some food (by now we had been at the Hotel for 40 minutes). It is not unreasonable to expect food and drink for Afternoon Tea to be served at about the same time. None of us wanted to drink a lot of tea first and then not have room for sandwiches and cakes. The other disappointment was the general decor in the Oak Room. It lacked the special atmosphere which you would normally expect for a formal Afternoon Tea. I 'm sorry to say, but I cannot recommend this venue for Afternoon Tea."

"This was our first time visiting Ruby's and it was five star quality all round. The food was delicious, authentic and brilliant value for money. We ordered the Monday/Tuesday deal which included a starter, main dish, rice or naan and a side from the vegetable menu all for only £15! There was a brilliant selection of vegetarian dishes sides and the lovely owner who served us was genuinely interested in our day and incredibly welcoming. A trip to Ruby's will not disappoint, we only wish we visited sooner!"

"I booked the afternoon tea for 5 people over the phone. I did inform them at the time that there would be one vegetarian. The morning of the date, I rang to cancel one of the people who was unable to attend. That was fine. When we arrived, I was informed that I would have to pay for the cancelled person as they had to buy the food in from outside and order it in advance. At no time had I been told that cancellations would be charged although I was informed it did state this online! However, I had not booked online!. When the food arrived, the vegetarian sandwiches were mixed in with the meat sandwiches. When this was pointed out, the staff grudgingly agreed to prepare fresh vegetarian sandwiches and put on separate plate. The food was very nice once this was all sorted out and the teapots were refilled on request. Paying for the meal proved a problem as we were all paying separately, some with cards, some with cash. This was not possible as they did not have the facility to do this as the bill was a complete bill! The manageress was not particularly helpful or welcoming and we came away feeling very disappointed with the experience."

Stopped by this placr last Sunday evening Feb 2nd on my way from London to Brussels Belgium for busibess meetings. bought a Burrito take away. almost swallowed a big piece of metal that was inside it while eating it. it was life threatening. on my way back to London tonight Feb 7th, I made sure to stop by, showed the guy running the place what I found in the burrito. the guy had an attitude, disrespectfull, unprofessional, in denial. This place needs to be shut down. health and hygiene services should investigate it!"

"First of all I must say that my husband and I have eaten at Gordons before (on a Friday evening and last New Year 's and have been very happy with the food. The service is also fabulous. We therefore thought we would try the restaurant with non veggie friends for Sunday lunch. I had enquired a few days beforehand what the veggie Sunday dishes might be and was told possibly risotto, pasta or mushroom stroganoff. (I was hoping more for the latter as veggies tend to always get offered the other dishes when eating out . We were told the chef didn 't decide untilt the actual day which does seem strange as none of these dishes are very complicated. On the actual day there was a delicious veggie starter we chose from the buffet. However, for the main meal we were offered pasta and it was really disappointing. Whilst our friends enjoyed their carvery meals, my husband and I got some very unspecial bowls of wet and sweet tasting pasta. I just don 't understand why more thought could not also have been given to our main meal, especially as I had rung before. There are so many interesting dishes for vegetarians (veggies wellingtons, parcels, tarts, nut roasts etc so why just offer these on special days such as Christmas or New Year 's? Why not every Sunday generally? If you did, we would come to you more often. Please consider making your Sunday lunch menu (and indeed your Friday evening menu more varied for vegetarians. Thank you."

However, the fact that the restaurant was unusually empty on a Saturday night (resulting in a lower rating for ambience) was surprising given the high quality and value of the food.
