"The reservation was okay. Unfortunately only a menu, not a-la-carte (Sylvester Evening), but was not announced. Starter and main course ordered. 1/2 hour later the appetizer came. Big plate, very little on it. Then 1 Sunde left nothing. Probably a lot to do on such an evening... When we asked, it turned out that our order was forgotten. We were then brought the two main courts 10mn later. It was good, but ate within 5mn. Then we cancelled the passport at this point. That cost us 86Euro and we went hungry and angry."

"Came here for dinner with some friends and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was for a bar. Nice selection of vegetarian options and lots of burgers to choose from (I suggest trying the lamb burger). Lots of beers available and even some...mixed beers which were very good. Service was amazing and our server happened to be from Bucks County, PA so it was easy to order. Be warned the bar completely fills up (super packed) for soccer games on their many TVs and projector screens so plan your visit accordingly! Nice community and environment. Friendly and fun place"

But during the night, almost everything went wrong.First, we made a reservation but when we arrived, the staff told us that we must wait cause our table was occupied. We ended waiting for 15 minutes.The service was rude and we weren't well attended. The waitress forgot our command and we ended waiting almost an hour for food, so they served it nearly the closing time. Thus, we had to rush and we couldn't order any dessert. "Was in Freiburg on a family vacation of Germany and this is the best pizza I have ever had anywhere ! They do not have a menu in English so ordering was a bit of a challenge but the server did speak English so that was extremely helpful. Wish this was closer to home in America so I could enjoy this delicious pizza again! Was a bit worried the crowd would a college crowd die the proximity to the University however this does not appear to be a student hang out at all, perfect fir a romantic dinner or family. Highly recommend!!!"

"Auf der Suche nach einer Frühstücksmöglichkeit in Freiburg abseits des Brunch- und Breakfasteinheitsangebotes sind wir dank der hier stehenden Bewertungen an einem Sonntag im Lollo gelandet. Wir waren quasi die ersten Gäste (hatten gerade erst aufgemacht) und hatten somit Glück, einen der wenigen nicht reservierten Plätze zu erwischen. Nach und nach kamen dann etliche andere Gäste. Familien mit kleinen Kindern, Studenten/Innen, Paare, ältere Herrschaften...komplett gemischt. Das gut gelaunte und sehr aufmerksame Personal hatte die Lage im Griff. Dann bekamen wir die kleine aber feine Karte und hier merkt man schnell, dass sich das Lollo dem Besonderen verschrieben hat. Man bekommt auch das klassische deutsche Frühstück und das sah am Nachbartisch auch gut aus. Wir entschieden uns für Porridge und den Bagle mit Ei und Speck...hmmm...LECKER! Auch der Schwarzwild-Kaffee war sehr schmackhaft. An den Nachbartischen wurden derweil andere Köstlichkeiten serviert...die Pancakes zauberten dem kleine Mädchen nebenan ein Leuchten in die Augen. Die sahen als Türmchen aufgestapelt und mit Sirup begossen und Speck drappiert extrem lecker aus! Auch andere Speisen, die unseren Tisch passierten sahen sehr appetitlich aus und wurden mit Genuss von den Gästen verspeist. Gerne hätten wir noch mehr bestellt, leider waren wir satt. :-) So stelle ich mir einen perfekten Start in den Tag vor. Liebes Lollo-Team...weiter so!"

I’ve found the Eldorado of wraps, the pot of iceberg lettuce at the end...of the rainbow, a 5 leaf clover made out of onion layers, the Berlin zoo of chicken meat, and the sauce that flowed the garden of eden. Never before have i suckled on a sauce so sweet. Don’t let people tell you Picasso, Andy Warhol or Michelangelo were the greatest artists in the world because I’ve found something that puts them all to shame. Out of this world. 4/5."

"During a family visit in the area, we came across this little restaurant, very much hidden away from the town centre, in the forest above Güntherstal. It is indeed a secret spot as you would never find it, if you didn't know about it! I went there with 8 people yesterday and I was so impressed with this place! The outside area is beautiful and the surrounding is super quiet and fabulous for anyone who likes being out in the nature. The service was superb. They are not trying to save money with waiting staff as there were three waiters responsible for the outside area. They were very friendly and efficient. Within a maximum of 5 minutes we all were served our drinks and the food also came out quickly - after 10 minutes of ordering we had our starters and shortly after that our mains. There is a wide variety of choice on the menu - if you can't find something you like, you must be exceptionally picky! Even the vegetarian options are excellent ( I am not sure on the vegan options though). I had ordered the Penne Medico, which were delicious. Also the Pasta alla Chef, which another family member ordered was amazing. Three people had ordered the Schnitzel- big portions and excellent quality. The bill for 8 people (two of it being children) came to around 140 Euros, which is a good price, especially for the excellent quality of food and service! I def want to return to this lovely restaurant in the winter to experience it from the inside! I would highly recommend this to anyone."

"Conveniently located by the central station, the café was our first pitstop in the city. The lunch service was in full swing, but we snagged a table on their covered terrasse nonetheless. We ordered the vegan Flammkuchen and the Fresh Outta Oven salad which was a potpourri of baked potato halves, green salad, some pickles, hummus and roasted veggies. The food was overall nice, and the portions healthy."

After a long search on the internet we decided to have an Arab restaurant. The website seemed attractive and the menu was promising and so we did not hesitate long and ordered a table for two. And yes, it was good to preach, because the restaurant was full, but still not full. The restaurant itself is cozy and has an Asian flair. They usually have a couple of other options that your server will list to you once you are seated. You...can usually find seasonal food and game (the dear sausage is great). The portions are massive, so be sure to bring an appetite or order the smaller portion. The schnitzel dish comes with three huge pieces plus whatever side you choose. WARNING: if you decide to share it, they will charge you for the extra plate. Good local wine selection and delicious dessert (I recommend the medley). Best show up with a reservation, though!"
