"I was here for a brunch on Sunday, but I've been a bit disappointed by some small and big details in the organization and the service. When I asked the waitress she forgot to tell me that part of the food had to be taken from the fridge by myself, and there was neither fruit nor charcuterie or yogurt/milk on the table (I wandered how to eat the cereals and didn't take it in the end)!! The variety of food was actually small for 22chf/person. And when it was time to pay I waited 10 min for the woman at the cashier to undertand how to use the card reader... food was good and the place is really nice, but this was far from any expectation."

"For my part, I certainly come here with my people and can rely on being served brilliantly. The food wasn't the only thing that amazes in this restaurant! I actually really enjoy trying out new places and am always on the lookout for new places, but I will remain loyal to this inn. The place really has the potential to become my next regular place. "We ate lunch, and were happy to have a huge serving of salad, fries and a great burger each. Veggie burger was delicious, with a great sauce. The atmosphere was great (lots of families and people of all ages). We went back the next day, but with no reservation couldn't get in. The tables were not cleared very often, so we cleared a space for ourselves, but it was sticky and crumby. Price is good!"

"Bei strahlendem Wetter haben wir auf der Terrasse als Gruppe das Mittagessen eingenommen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und nett. Das Essen gut und schön angerichtet. Sie können normale Portionen oder für "gute Esser" bestellen. Die Aussicht auf Alt- und Neustadt Fribourg ist fantastisch. Einzig die Abzocke für Parkgebühren auf der Oberen Matte sind bedauernswert aber man kann ja auch mit dem Bus herkommen."

"N'avions aucun feedback de personne sur cet endroit mais une grande envie de tartare, donc on y débarque un samedi soir sans réservation (à ne pas faire !). L'endroit n'est clairement pas destiné à restaurer sur place mais plutôt pour emporter son plat. Mais la chance était de notre côté, il y avait encore de la place. Accueil très sympathique et professionnel. On nous propose soit le tartare au saumon ou celui au bœuf. Va pour le bœuf ! On a chacun pris 200 grammes, en se laissant conseiller sur certains compléments (alcool, épices, etc...). Très sympa de faire griller ses toasts à table, à son rythme. Avons pris une bouteille de Malbec, assez moyen mais prix correct. Buffet de salades assez simple en entrée, mais largement suffisant. Ravis de voir des petits jeunes avec autant d'enthousiasme pour satisfaire leur clientèle et très pros dans leur manière de gérer leur business. D'autres établissements devraient en prendre de la graine ! Bonne continuation ;-)"

"Molino offers a decent selection of vegan pasta, pizza and starters. We really liked the spaghetti napoli and penne all'arrabiata, which in our case were perfectly al dente. The pizza marinara is very spartan, though, and even a veganized pizza vegetariana (just omit mozzarella) is not that great. Verdure al forno are more of a starter. Overall, price/performace is in the green, especially in the pasta department."

"I was hungry and pressed for time and I saw this restuarant on my last visit to Fribourg a year and a half ago but I never tried it due to mixed reviews. I went in and was greeted amiably enough. I was given the...plat de jour menu as well as the ala carte. I chose to order from the ala carte and I decided to keep it simple. I opted for a 1/2 portion of the caprese salad and a full portion of the spaghetti al la pesto. I requested the pasta to be al dente as I like it. Complementary bread rolls came first, followed soon by the beverage (water) that was promptly change due to a fly that fell in it. So server was attentive and amiable. The salad came next and the quantity was huge! About six slices of tomato and a huge chunk of fresh mozzarella seasoned with salt and pepper and olive oil, I added a little balsamic. Bottles of balsamic and oil were brought to my table and so was the black pepper grinder and salt. The pasta came next a large plate that was also deep to accomodate teh extra pesto. Fresh parmesan was provided with a cheese scraper. The salad was very fresh and the cheese of excellent quality. The pasta cooked just right and the quantity was humungous! The sauce was good but not exceptional. Overall price CH38, A bit high but still not too bad. overall it was a very satisfying experience. Would go there again to try other things.."

"Schon bei der Begrüssung auf der Terrasse fing es an: Der Chef nickte uns unter seinem Mund-Nasen-Schutz in Richtung des Kellners weiter, dieser sei zuständig. Keine freundliche Begrüssung oder Gestik.Dann servierte er selber statt stillem Wasser eines mit Kohlensäure. Obwohl wir bei ihm bestellt hatten.Der Kellner legte beim Vorbeigehen wortlos ein bisschen Brot auf unserem Tisch ab. Die Vorspeise Gegrilltes Gemüse für Fr. 10.50 bestand aus ein paar wenigen Gemüseschnitzen. Die Hauptspeise Pasta Pulcinella (Fr. 23) hatte die Grösse einer Vorspeise. Grana Padano dazu blieb ein Wunschtraum.Der Chef servierte die Suppe meiner Partnerin (Tortellini in Brodo) und entfernte sich wieder. Nachdem ich ihn jetzt darauf hinwies, dass sie ohne Löffel wohl kaum die Suppe essen könne und auch beide Servietten fehlten, meinte er nur, er müsste auch noch das Telefon bedienen. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung. Wir trafen übrigens erst um ca. 13.30 Uhr ein, nachdem sich die Terrasse bereits merklich geleert hatte.Fazit: überrissene Preise für kleine Portionen, geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber nicht mehr, unaufmerksamer Service, ein Chef ohne Manieren, für mich ein Kretin. Einmal und nie wieder."

"The place is very nice with outdoor spaces to enjoy the meal when it is hot. The service was quick, efficient, but not particularly friendly. One of the best pizzas in Fribourg, the dough is excellent and the toppings are good. The only downside: the cheese on the vegan pizzas leaves something to be desired, it had an aftertaste of vomit (sorry for the expression, but that was the feeling felt). "really until earth. nothing nice but a very tasty menu bistro style. also a good wine selection, with some beautiful, less well-known local and regional weeping. and the tarte tatin should die! what really impressed us was the Caritas-assisted food promotion. we additionally pay chf10 on our bill and someone who needs social support can eat in restaurant for 50% discounted. Moreover, the restaurant offers meetings for consulting, social interaction for those who need some and even help with tax issues. so beautiful to see and demonstrate real community support and engagement. I just wonder why more restaurants do not do that in other countries."
