"Molino offers a decent selection of vegan pasta, pizza and starters. We really liked the spaghetti napoli and penne all'arrabiata, which in our case were perfectly al dente. The pizza marinara is very spartan, though, and even a veganized pizza vegetariana (just omit mozzarella) is not that great. Verdure al forno are more of a starter. Overall, price/performace is in the green, especially in the pasta department."

"I was hungry and pressed for time and I saw this restuarant on my last visit to Fribourg a year and a half ago but I never tried it due to mixed reviews. I went in and was greeted amiably enough. I was given the...plat de jour menu as well as the ala carte. I chose to order from the ala carte and I decided to keep it simple. I opted for a 1/2 portion of the caprese salad and a full portion of the spaghetti al la pesto. I requested the pasta to be al dente as I like it. Complementary bread rolls came first, followed soon by the beverage (water) that was promptly change due to a fly that fell in it. So server was attentive and amiable. The salad came next and the quantity was huge! About six slices of tomato and a huge chunk of fresh mozzarella seasoned with salt and pepper and olive oil, I added a little balsamic. Bottles of balsamic and oil were brought to my table and so was the black pepper grinder and salt. The pasta came next a large plate that was also deep to accomodate teh extra pesto. Fresh parmesan was provided with a cheese scraper. The salad was very fresh and the cheese of excellent quality. The pasta cooked just right and the quantity was humungous! The sauce was good but not exceptional. Overall price CH38, A bit high but still not too bad. overall it was a very satisfying experience. Would go there again to try other things.."

"We walked in on a Friday afternoon without a reservation and were quickly seated. This restaurant is very close to the Saint Nicholas cathedral in Fribourg. The food was excellent. My wife had the deer medaillon (chevreuil) and I had the vegetarian mushroom fregola sarda, both delicious. Above all was the most excellent service Laura took really great care of us. If you happen to be in Fribourg, you must give this restaurant a chance to amaze you."

"this is a peculiar self-service restaurant, in which they calculate their order on a card they receive at the entrance and pay at the exit. the dishes are freshly prepared while waiting in the line. with regard to main dishes are four types of pasta vegan: arrabiata, pomodoro, aglio e olio and ratatouille. the aglio e olio that I tried was pretty good, the bruschetta is just okay and the pizza with cheese was better than expected, give it a try. this exit is on a busy road but has a terrace on the back. updated by the previous review on 2019-04-24"

"love the decor, ambiente and decorated. good choice of wine and reasonable price. tapas aperitif of olives, dried tomatoes, chips and courgettes were great. friendly, smiling and attentive staff. mainly young workers and young people. vibrant and great energy. main dishes, however, were mediocre...all my order of the bark entrecôte medium rare was well executed, but the horse steak of my friend was boiled over for medium rare. the flesh was hard and chew. pity that it cost them an additional star and only earned an average rating."

"An Sommerabenden lohnt sich ein Abstecher längs der Saane vom Funiculaire bis zum Place du Petit-Saint-Jean. Lauschig gelegen kann man den Apéro draussen genehmigen. Leider ist die Altstadt nicht autofrei; darum geniesst der Feinschmecker das Nachtessen im Innern des Café du Tirlibaum. Die gebratene Forelle mundet vortrefflich, die Beilagen sind reichhaltig. Der Preis vernünftig. Der Mont Vully erinnert an das Drei-Seen-Land. Spät abends führt uns Bus Nr. 4 vor der Haustüre zum Bahnhof und garantiert eine sanfte Heimkehr in die Deutschschweiz."

"really until earth. nothing nice but a very tasty menu bistro style. also a good wine selection, with some beautiful, less well-known local and regional weeping. and the tarte tatin should die! what really impressed us was the Caritas-assisted food promotion. we additionally pay chf10 on our bill and someone who needs social support can eat in restaurant for 50% discounted. Moreover, the restaurant offers meetings for consulting, social interaction for those who need some and even help with tax issues. so beautiful to see and demonstrate real community support and engagement. I just wonder why more restaurants do not do that in other countries."

"We were curious to know how the restaurant was, since the menu seemed authentic enough on the internet. everything started off well, waiter was friendly and the drinks came quickly. at this point only a few people were there, we came at 7pm. after more people came and the service got chaotic. people next to us who came a bit before 8pm, had to wait like 40min for their food and before that maybe 20min to order. it was a huge struggle to get the waiter to order another drink. the food was ok, portions are small for how much you pay (ii had prawns), naan bread was delicious though! they made mistake with my dessert but i didn't bother saying anything.. but we did complain when they tried to accidentally bill our neughbour's chf45 bottle of wine in the end. i don't know if we'd go back.. i mean parts of the food was really tasty but the price is quite high. if you go, i recommend going early!"

"I was invited to this restaurant as it is one of my host's favorites in Fribourg. He opted for a pizza margreta with added onions, I chose a heaftier option of parmigiana as starter and seafood risotto. For drinks I had a sparkling water and my host plain mineral water.Service was prompt and amiable despite fairly busy place and the manager was on top of it and came to our table at least twice.The food overall was good but a bit oily. Portion were very generous despite ordering a small portion for the risotto and pizza. The risotto had lots of seafood in it and tasted good. The parsley added to the flavor but it could have used more. We were so full we skipped dessert and I had an escellent espresso.Would be curious to try their pastas and other dishes.."

"After long years of absence, we decided to give "Le Beausite a try, as the owner and Chef have changed.We were greeted very kindly and seated at a lounge like area, near our dining table, to relax and enjoy our Cocktails. Very classy. The interior is very pleasant, nice decorations outline the ceiling from which descend two big chandeliers and there are some beautiful green plants on the floor.As venison 's season opened at the end of September, we ordered the Selle de Chevreuil (Roe deer Saddle) looking forward for a delicious meal.The order came with perfect timing. The Selle looked delicious and indeed it was cooked to perfection, medium/rare as venison should be. The portions weren 't excessive, just right.A special thank you to the Bartender who offered to change the wine I ordered that was not to our liking, for another wine. At no charge. That denotes a real will to please the customer and make him feel at home.But the praises stop here.The venison was plainly served with Spaetzli, a couple of mushrooms and one chestnut over a bed of Celery root Mousseline. The Mousseline would be a wonderful accompaniment to a Roast Pork dish or grilled sausage, but it has too strong a taste opposed to the delicate one of the Saddle. It did overpower it.Furthermore, the traditional side dishes, i.e. red cabbage, Botzi pear, typical of the region, or caramelized pear, Brussel sprouts and some grapes or fig were all forgotten.Big deception.In conclusion, as we found the food price/quality ratio quite unfavourable, we will not pay a second visit to the Beausite. The service is top grade, but the main reason to go to a Restaurant is the food. And the food was a deception. Sorry."

"le 28.01.2020 , moi et mon copin, on a pris la decision de manger quelquechose en ville de Fribourg aprés une visite a la catedral.Le restaurant Five ce situe a 3 min a pié de la gare.Au tout debut, on a mangé une petit salade avec la sauce francaise laquelle etait juste parfaite!Apres la Salade, mon copin a demandé un Burger au fois gras et moi du poulpe.Dans le restaurant, il avais 2 serveurs, 1 jeune homme (je pense etre le responsable) et une jeunne fille, les 2 trés aimable et trés sourriant.aprés env. 10 min, les plats était prêt et ils était juste magnifique! Moi, que suis pas trop fan de burgers, je me suis promis a moi meme de repasser un jour afin de manger un de ces burger au fois gras comme mon copin a eu!Le pulpe était aussi trés bon avec des legumes frais!On a commandé encore 2 caffés et le prix a était correct.super equipe et super bien placé, je reviendrais surement"

"Their pizze used to be really good until maybe mid last year or so, then something happened, not sure what maybe they changed the pizzaiolo or something, and thus it just started getting worse and worse. Pizza dough gets totally overcooked to the point of being burnt at times, toppings do not get cut properly and are just dumped in a pile and also their pizze have become way too greasy, so recently ordering from Dieci has turned out to be quite an unpleasant experience all in all."

"With my 85 year old dad and his rolator... Saturday 12/18/21 around 6:30 p.m. until around 9:00 p.m. Heartwarming welcome. The waitress very nice. Plenty of room between tables. Unlimited Chinese fondue, 28fr per person. Sauces, nice salad. The wine, Amarone excellent. Meat, beef and poultry tender as butter. The fries have never tasted so light and crispy. We really had a good time. To leave they even made us go out through a side door, because there were 2 steps and with the rolator it was more difficult at the start than at the finish. "

"L'accueil est peu agréable, les messieurs semblent ne pas avoir plaisir d'être là. La cuisine est trop sombre pour cuisiner. Vu l'odeur nauséabonde sur les tables, ils utilisent les mêmes pattes pourries depuis des lustres. C'est usuellement une raison pour moi de quitter le restaurant, mais puisque c'est un fast-food, j'ai déjà commandé. Les pâtes sont OK et chauds, la portion (medium) est en fait assez grande, mais la sauce est trop salée. Le prix est bon marché, j'ai faim, alors je mange tout. Mais je ne reviendrai probablement pas."
