"I was hungry and pressed for time and I saw this restuarant on my last visit to Fribourg a year and a half ago but I never tried it due to mixed reviews. I went in and was greeted amiably enough. I was given the...plat de jour menu as well as the ala carte. I chose to order from the ala carte and I decided to keep it simple. I opted for a 1/2 portion of the caprese salad and a full portion of the spaghetti al la pesto. I requested the pasta to be al dente as I like it. Complementary bread rolls came first, followed soon by the beverage (water) that was promptly change due to a fly that fell in it. So server was attentive and amiable. The salad came next and the quantity was huge! About six slices of tomato and a huge chunk of fresh mozzarella seasoned with salt and pepper and olive oil, I added a little balsamic. Bottles of balsamic and oil were brought to my table and so was the black pepper grinder and salt. The pasta came next a large plate that was also deep to accomodate teh extra pesto. Fresh parmesan was provided with a cheese scraper. The salad was very fresh and the cheese of excellent quality. The pasta cooked just right and the quantity was humungous! The sauce was good but not exceptional. Overall price CH38, A bit high but still not too bad. overall it was a very satisfying experience. Would go there again to try other things.."

Catastrophe. The service is the worst service I have ever had. I never go back here even if it were free. The restaurant is next to various hotel and nobody speaks a single word English German.

War mit meiner Freundin Abendessen. Spaghetti Carbonara war gut, leider etwa wenig für den Preis. Das Personal spricht nicht zwei Sprachen und nicht alle sprechen English, deshalb gab auch Missverständnis bei der Bestellung.

Es ist ein schönes Restaurant mit einer tollen Gartenterrasse. Dies ist leider der einzige Pluspunkt.Die Pizza sah aus wie eine Tiefkühl-Pizza mit frischem Gemüse. Der Boden der Pizza war dick. Der Käse sehr ungenießbar und schwer verdaulich. Ein italienisches Lokal sollte besser Pizza backen können. Das Fleisch, welches als Entrecote deklariert war, war höchstens ein gutes Rindersteak. Leider stimmte darum das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht. Zudem waren die Pommes ungenießbar und gingen retour.
