"I'm rarely making opinions. I'm making an exception to this restaurant. After being disappointed by 2/3 restaurants on the village of gruissan, with my friend one decides to return the experience with this restaurant located in a quiet area with terrace and a magnificent view of the bâteaux. very clean room with harmonious decor in violet tones, very pleasant, the more you can see the kitchen with its glass bay that is very clean. The map is simple, just what it takes to put us in the mouth, avev of the fact home. He changes the restaurants that speak of a house by offering 20 dishes. I chose knives, fries, with shallots sauces and chocolate mousses. My friend, with his pepper sauce, his fries, his chocolate mousse. the plates are very generous and well presented. We got salad. knives, parsillad are excellent and especially sandless, the sauces and chocolate mousse are also good and homemade, no doubt. with the pieces of chocolate that melts in the mouth, a feast. cooking my friend's meat was a piece of stuff. coke addict, I finally got a coke of candy with glass next to it and its straw. And not a glass of coca served without a bubble. fresh products, home, a beautiful cook, a waitress with care for us. What more? Thank you! We had a lot of fun, and we're going back to the belly. short all this paved to tell you don't hesitate! I recommend I come back."

"We cannot recommend highly enough this excellent little restaurant in Gruissan Port, Rive gauche; The reception from our very friendly host was absolutely first class we were instantly made to feel most welcome. He was also very helpful in describing dishes from the menu...and discussing and recommending local wines to go with our choices. The service was quick considering we were ten in our party and our starters were an excellent tomato bread with Serrano ham, mussels stuffed with aioli (garlic mayonnaise) and then dusted with walnuts and then grilled, beef carpaccio and the shelled broad beans cooked in olive oil with chorizo. The quantity of tomato bread and ham was huge so was readily shared around the group. For mains one of our party chose the pika pika' which was a large slate with every one of the tapas dishes offered. Substantial but not offputting in quantity, it was a really excellent choice. Two of our group went for the sea bass cooked en papilotte' with leeks and a mild curry sauce. Two more went for the wonderful razor clams, cooked on the griddle with garlic and parsley, and the rest of the party chose the amazing Aubrac steak which you cooked at your table on a hot lava rock. This was accompanied by a sumptuous Roquefort sauce. There was still room for dessert so most of us chose the beautifully light home made choux bun which was filled with vanilla ice cream and smothered in hot chocolate sauce. Creme brulee and a home made chocolate and orange meringue tart were also chosen. We were offered complimentary digestifs and coffees to be taken on the terrace. With all of our aperitifs, three bottles of wine, two of sparkling water and all meals, the price including tip came out at euros per person. All in all a wonderful experience which will be revisited at the earliest possible opportunity."

"Small restaurant held with a light and friendly hand by a freshly retired couple, with direct view on the beautiful port of Gruissan. A smiling, polite, very pleasant staff with customers. The kitchen is bistronomic with a menu at 39th for a flat entrance where dessert dish, and a menu at 45th dessert dish entrance. A map primarily focused on seafood. Ladies reassure yourself there are also dishes with meat for those like me who don't necessarily like seafood. In photo the following dishes: (the names of the dishes are approximate) lasagnes de nuts de Saint Jacques, shrimps, lobsters. 5h baking milk corkscrew with vegetables and potatoes purée For dessert: mellow caramel revisited Think of booking in advance. Go to the eyes really closed. Address to know. Good tasting"

"Very friendly restaurant, with very friendly and pleasant staff. Always a smile and a nice word for all customers. Florian dishes are excellent. Pizzas are made with love by Isabelle and Pascale. Boss Didier is very generous. Value for money is very affordable. In addition, the atmosphere in this restaurant will make you want to come back. A place I strongly advise you. It's a must-see if you come to Gruissan. The resto is located on the left bank to the bottom relative to the place of the menhirs. Bravo to the whole team and above all don't change anything! You're terrific."

"Great place, nice setting between floating wood, jute canvas and surfboard. Open kitchen in the centre, upstairs. The kitchen is a pleasure from the entrance to the sublimated dessert of a beautiful dress, a feast for the eyes and the belly. Even the accompanying salad raises taste buds combining pineapple, melon and fresh vegetables. Very well welcomed, bravo and thanks to the whole team and especially to Jessica our waitress. Hyper pleasant, very smiling, funny and dynamic. In short, it is impossible for us to assign a rating below 5. Thanks again for this great time. We highly recommend this establishment and its staff. Very quickly, it's a certainty."

"Top of Top. Original atmosphere, order, use and taste. The Patron is extraordinary of sympathy and of course of knowing how to do it. If you want to be installed, served at table etc, pass your way! But if you're looking for conviviality by eating well, then settle down!"

"udapt: a notable change! with the quality of the services that has improved seriously with a special thanks to the two responsible room and bar! See you soon! negative points: servers are not at the point on hygiene standards (mask under the chin for the most, at the service as at the bar.) servers are mistaken from tables to each order and this several times by table, we were not the only ones to complain about it, they walk (without mask) with the dishes asking each table if it was for them, not top especially at this moment ... wait very long positive points: good quality, the dishes are overall good. the manager is kind and polite, but should better train his staff. ps: all these remarks were mentioned politely at the crate when we were asked if everything went well, the clayer did not apologize once or even was sympathetic. She found a fake apology of style, we can't do better. It's a shame, because we can always improve when we listen to customer reviews."

"The last time we went to Gruissan I wanted to try this little restaurant as it seemed very popular and that is always a good sign. We ended up going elsewhere.... We recently popped into Gruissan again on a horrible rainy day and treated ourselves to a nice lunch here. Absolutely worth it. If you like mussels, you can have them here in a variety of flavours. I definitely would go here again. Also I was impressed by one waiter doing the whole restaurant over 24 covers) by himself friendly, professional, swift service and all with a smile!"

On y va à 2. On y va en famille. Entre copains. Merci à tous. On reviendra cet hiver. Parce que les salins c est beau toute l'année. Et un bon poisson aussi.. N hésitez pas !"

"This pretty restaurant on the banks of the pond of the Ayrolle, slightly excited from the old village, deserves the praises that we do (mediatization, Gault certification and Millau... . The terrace is full of charm with its pretty vineyard that dresses the pergola. The interior in Provence colours is just as warm. The decoration, neat but not pretentious, rustic and contemporary blend with its exposed beams and other natural details. You are in the right place to taste seafood: stuffed cornets and ravigot sauce mussels were excellent. I don’t think I ate so fresh and fleshy. I had some apprehension about white wine in carafe. No regret, La Clape's wine made its effect. Everything was chained with fluidity. The service was perfectly orchestrated, without waiting between the dishes. From the entrance to the dessert, cooking and quantities were controlled. Everything was fresh, melting and homemade. Prices are more than reasonable given the quality of products, the efficiency of service and the poetry of the place. This former fishermen’s village has unsuspected discoveries and L’Estagnol is one of them. The surprise of a discreet address like this is enough to convince you to never venture on the port again."

"Several years ago, we had come to gruissan with our still-small son, and we had been very welcome despite a strong affluence and a chair had been added to a table of two to serve us. We kept a very good memory of this evening. back years later, we surveyed all the streets to find this place in a very pleasant setting. victory when behind the door...I recognized the red curtain that allows the surprise to discover this unusual room! very happy to have found you. the reception is always as friendly, efficient service and tasty dishes. We had a great time. Thank you all."

"The welcome is smiling. We tested the house burger. It was correct, cooking requested respected, soft bread. Parkontre les frites were soft and you are served with ketchup in a coffee saucer without even a spoon. No choice offered on beer pressure. The place is quite stubborn, the dress and body outfit) of waitresses lack class. Too bad the smile was still the positive point. their location."

"Une superbe découverte lors d’un séjour au Festival de Carcassonne. Installés très rapidement à une belle table avec vue sur les salins, Nous nous sommes régalés du début à la fin. Un accueil sympathique et efficace, un service sans anicroche avec le sourire malgré la très forte chaleur, des produits très frais et appétissants servis copieusement. Nous avons adoré notre expérience à la cambuse du Saunier. Bravo Bravo et merci à toutes les équipes (salle, bar et cuisine). Bon courage à tous !"

"Everything's good. try the churrasco, art hardens with various fishing, gambas. cocktails are excellent, wein is excellent, service is not at the top, but this is a holiday resort. in the night it becomes magic, kerzen, music, dancing until the end. A small note: we came in the restaurant was empty at the time: only customers remained. we were people and couldn't get a table that was in a better position. the reason: a group could come and take all tables. management order. Come on, the group will come without a reservation."

"Dîner en famille sur le port. Accueil agréable et pizza bonne selon notre ado. Pour le reste , une entrecôte moyenne, frites bof. Le plateau de fruits de mer, à part les huîtres et les bulots, le reste moules crues pas très appétissantes et crevettes pas très fraîches pas fermes et molles), mayo fade. Un aïoli serait mieux. Bref à oublier. Par contre vérifiez votre note On nous avait compté 2 bouteilles de vin !!"

"We chose the 30€ menu which includes house wine, starter, interim course, main, cheese and dessert. I should start off my saying that we enjoy food and we are not scared my large portions. Here however it was far too much food of the wrong...type. My wife chose scallops with chorizo. It did not work. The scallops were excellent but the chorizo was far too strong and overpowered them. I had a foie gras which came with excellent fig chutney but with only two tiny pieces of toast. Then the interim course arrived. Ridiculous in size it was bigger than many main courses. My salad and peppers were very poor indeed and my wifes guacamole and prawns likewise although what they lacked in quality and presentation they certainly made up for in quantity. My rib eye steak was very poor quality and came with another mountain of salad. When the cheese came which is always my favourite part of the meal there were three pieces, One blue and two white. I asked what the blue cheese was as after tasting it I was unsure. The waitress said it is blue'. Well of course it was blue but what type? Blue' came the response. Not too impressed I asked her to ask the chef what it was. She came back and said, He says it is ..................blue' Affter getting a tad tetchy she came back and said it was Roquefort. I told her it was not Roquefort and to try again. Eventually she said it was Blu de Auvergne which was was eventually an honest answer and my first guess.. This place could be great but it is obviously managed very poorly. The 2 star is generous. Good value but very poor quality, poor presentation, portions that are far too big (the interim course is ten times bigger than it should be) and the service was only just ok."
