Hannover is known for its Herrenhausen Gardens, historic sites, and heartfelt cuisine like Grünkohl with Bregenwurst and locally brewed beers.

"the zorbas is a small Greek restaurant in the möckernstraße in the list. away from any hard and therefore probably known from local residents. sometimes I wonder that the last survives so long because many restaurants are close. what I find for a shame. for me it is certainly not the top chefs .. but I live only 3 minutes away and it is nice to go spontaneously, something without eating big just a few steps to run and eat delicious. the lamb tastes very good after my man. grill plates are solid and ok. I would say good kitchen that does not impress with any specialties, but will certainly fulfill the expectations of a standard Greek. they sit nice and it's clean. who lives in the list or near the Low Axis ring should look by."

"I went there with a group of friends during the week, but it still got really full at dinner time and the restaurant is quite small so I would recommend reserving ahead the prices were brilliant for a poor student like me, I had a...starter, main, some kind of flatbread thing (like a naan bread but different somehow), and a large beer for around euros. We certainly didn't leave feeling hungry the waiter was lovely, the service was fairly quick and the portions generous. I had an aubergine and potato curry and was not disappointed I love to cook at home but I've never been able to get aubergine to taste that good! There's a whole page of vegetarian curries which are a little cheaper and just as tasty as the rest. I was the only vegetarian in the group, but everyone else ended up getting a veggie curry anyway because they sounded so tempting the beer was also cheaper than most pubs euros draft for a large one), but they also have Indian beers on offer for a little extra I'm planning on going again for a birthday meal in a couple of weeks In short if you like a good curry, aren't interested in fine dining (i's clean but very casual in there) and find yourself in the Suedstadt, give this place a visit. It's not difficult to find because you can smell the lovely spices from a mile away"

"Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and it was walking distance from my hotel next to the train station and decided to try it out. The decor is quite nice inside, and I was waited on quickly. Along with the beer I ordered, the waitress gave me a complimentary chilled glass of ouzo - a nice touch!! I ordered the mixed grill plate which was on special and was delicious. The portion was large and a good bargain at €11.50, which included salad, fries and rice. The gyro was exceptionally tasty - it was real shaved meat, well seasoned and kind of crispy on the outside, and not the preformed variety you get in the US. All and all, I can definitely recommend this restaurant!!"

"I'm not a big friend of Burgerläden's. In most cases the impression remains: Well, a burger. Here in the harp I was converted But after the turn. The shop itself is an Irish pub, but it is not only limited to the liquid pleasures, but also has a wide range of burgers. Inside a little dark, but cozy, the place to be is just in Corona times behind the restaurant. There is a very small beer garden with a view of it. Better you can hardly sit and know that why a reservation is obligatory especially on weekends. There is a wide selection of beer and cyder, almost all available from the barrel and in sizes of 0.3-1,5l. Great. A wide selection of burgers, various varieties of pumice and great sauces. We were four and all were thrilled. Really wonderful Burger variations and very beautiful supplements, all well portioned, here no one comes hungry. And also the service was very friendly and flashing, there was nothing to complain, even at the price not. I will still not be a general fan of Burgerläden, but the Harp will be planned for the next visit to Hanover. Absolutely recommended!"

"one- twice a year you can go well here, best with live music or a 96 game in the big picture. Otherwise, the Irish one has a bit of a time, but a guiness or the like must be drunk in the irsh pub, otherwise it is silly. prices are ok, eating British and cutting the air despite separated smoker smoke."

"Beckers is three blocks east of the Lister Meile Ubahn stop, just two stops north of the Hauptbahnhof. It's in a nice old building on the corner, with large windows overlooking the street and some outdoor seating. I only tolerate German food, but Beckers does a good job with it. I had the fixed four-course menu, which featured a lot of asparagus in April. The appetizer with smoked salmon was excellent, and the soup was nice and balanced. The main course and dessert were rather bland and not even that creative, but as I said, I'm not a reliable critic of German food. The interior is lovely, the atmosphere relaxed, the clientele genteel, and the service very good. Menus are available in English. There is a nice selection of wines and cocktails: they actually occupy more of the menu, which is a bit more limited in food choices. There is at least one vegetarian option per course, a rarity in Germany. All in all, worth visiting and certainly if you like the local cuisine."

"My family are regulars in this restaurant. Our first impression of the restaurant was it looks pretty run down. However, we were soon pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Our favourites are okonomiyaki- Japanese pancake with salmon, unadon- grilled eel with rice in sweet sauce & tempura udon. Delicious! The unadon was expensive though. We didn't try their sashimi & sushi since we could get them at very cheap prices from where we were from. Overall, very friendly service & yummy food! Highly recommended! 5 mins walk from lister platz station."

"my mother and I went to lunch for the first time and loved it. we had both the wild meadow bowl with brokkoli, granat apple seed, edame bohnen, spinat, gurke and grapes, which was absolutely delicious. I chose the peanut dimmer and she had the Beetroot dip. I had the ingwer ninja smoothie (with spinat, apple, ingwer and ananas), which was delicious and really fresh and she had a viva con aqua mineral water. the personal was very friendly and welcoming. would definitely recommend!"

"because of the proximity of the space, we had chosen the prager hof as a family with a total of nine guests after the training of our sohne. unfortunately the weather was not so good, so we were placed inside. the reception was very warm and the pre-ordered aperitif were immediately received. after a small, well-sized break to start, the appetizer was enough, we had chosen prager ham, this came with sufficiently well-baked brot, and delicious meerrettich. the portions were more than good. remaining rest of the children of good ham were well packed with on the way given for home.As the main course we had chosen pork fillet in mushroom sauce with bratkartoffeln. different from the partial previous assessment we felt eating not as salted but as very well tasted. to the meat was still rich additional sauce, as well as a small salad and delicious homemade latency. the ordered drinks came well cooled and very punctual with the main course together to the table. as a conclusion we were pampered by a very beautiful decorated ice-cream cup, finally the wet with a typical sacker in small blue cups. The prager hof is always worth a visit for well cooked home cooking, and for us on foot also like to reach again and again for an evening drink. together with our son we had a beautiful celebration after the schooling."

"The Lieblingsbar ("Favourite Bar") opened about two months ago in the new, central shopping parade in Herrenhäuser Markt. I am already a regular customer. The bar-restaurant is very conveniently sited, with the Herrenhäuser Markt tram stop on Lines 4 and 5 only moments awayThe shops and the town administrative offices are close by, as is the site for the weekly Saturday morning market. The world-famous Herrenhäuser Gärten is two tram stops away and the city centre only a few more. The (rather ugly) Herrenhäuser brewery, which offers tours, is five minutes or so walk away. On-street parking can be difficult to find, but there are a couple of car parks only minutes away (one in front of the Edeka supermarket in Meldaustraße and one behind the adjacent Rossman shop. The venue is extremely modern - being brand-new - and by choice it is modernistic yet quaint. It is also very light as there are huge windows in two sides. There are two main indoor sections, a bar area, with long bar and a number of nicely spaced high tables and chairs, and a restaurant area with standard dining tables. The former also has a low table with easy chairs sited by a window, the latter a similar area but sited by an unusual faux fireplace and shelves of books about making cocktails etc. Both of these areas are furnished with a range of glossy magazines and there are daily newspapers in the entrance lobby. Outside, there are comfortable seats either side of the main entrance, which overlooks Herrenhäuserstraße and the tram stop, including a couple of unusual, cushioned benches made of largely of beer crates, and on the side patio, which overlooks Münterstrasse, there are over a dozen tables with strategically-placed patio umbrellas. The staff are friendly and obliging. The food menu offers a wide range of snacks and in bistro-style meals and, in a recent change, breakfasts are offered on Saturdays and Sundays before midday. The bar has an unusually wide range of beers and whiskies, fortunately including my favourites. However, I have yet to persuade the proprietors to offer Guinness! The Lieblingsbar was recently awarded 7 out of 10 in after a 'mystery customer' visit by a critic from the Hannover's most influential local paper. The opening hours at the time of writing are: Mon – Thu 12:00 – 24:00, Fri 12:00 – 03:00, Sat 10:00 – 03:00 and Sun 10:00 – 23:00. Tel: 0511 – 768 09 126."

Geht lieber in's Extrakt.

"I was very happy with the dönnerrolle for 4.5 €. the calf, the herb salad, red cabbage and the gurkens were delicious. the curry sauce and also the crimped sauce have tasted great.Who works in the industrial area at the old airport and environment has the opportunity to eat outside on a why. Otherwise, the load inside is more likely to impress a somewhat older one."

"Outside you're sitting on the sidewalk, right in the middle of the street. This is not romantic, but is also really difficult in Hanover. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and the staff was warm, friendly and attentive. I had Tagliatelle with rabbits and that was very good, at any time again."
