"the zorbas is a small Greek restaurant in the möckernstraße in the list. away from any hard and therefore probably known from local residents. sometimes I wonder that the last survives so long because many restaurants are close. what I find for a shame. for me it is certainly not the top chefs .. but I live only 3 minutes away and it is nice to go spontaneously, something without eating big just a few steps to run and eat delicious. the lamb tastes very good after my man. grill plates are solid and ok. I would say good kitchen that does not impress with any specialties, but will certainly fulfill the expectations of a standard Greek. they sit nice and it's clean. who lives in the list or near the Low Axis ring should look by."

"So unfassbar lecker! Einfach asiatisch! Das Essen war ausgezeichnet lecker. Die Ente acht Kostbarkeiten war der Hammer! Dazu gab es eine pikante Sauce. Die Ente war sehr zart. Die Fleischbeilage war sehr gut gewürzt. Als Nachtisch gab es gebackene Banane. Die war ausgezeichnet lecker, sodass ich mir welche mitnehmen musste. Ich empfehle die Banane Vorort zu essen, da es viel knuspriger ist. Meine Familie ist sehr zufrieden mit dem Restaurant."

"I'm not a big friend of Burgerläden's. In most cases the impression remains: Well, a burger. Here in the harp I was converted But after the turn. The shop itself is an Irish pub, but it is not only limited to the liquid pleasures, but also has a wide range of burgers. Inside a little dark, but cozy, the place to be is just in Corona times behind the restaurant. There is a very small beer garden with a view of it. Better you can hardly sit and know that why a reservation is obligatory especially on weekends. There is a wide selection of beer and cyder, almost all available from the barrel and in sizes of 0.3-1,5l. Great. A wide selection of burgers, various varieties of pumice and great sauces. We were four and all were thrilled. Really wonderful Burger variations and very beautiful supplements, all well portioned, here no one comes hungry. And also the service was very friendly and flashing, there was nothing to complain, even at the price not. I will still not be a general fan of Burgerläden, but the Harp will be planned for the next visit to Hanover. Absolutely recommended!"

"Beckers is three blocks east of the Lister Meile Ubahn stop, just two stops north of the Hauptbahnhof. It's in a nice old building on the corner, with large windows overlooking the street and some outdoor seating. I only tolerate German food, but Beckers does a good job with it. I had the fixed four-course menu, which featured a lot of asparagus in April. The appetizer with smoked salmon was excellent, and the soup was nice and balanced. The main course and dessert were rather bland and not even that creative, but as I said, I'm not a reliable critic of German food.The interior is lovely, the atmosphere relaxed, the clientele genteel, and the service very good. Menus are available in English. There is a nice selection of wines and cocktails: they actually occupy more of the menu, which is a bit more limited in food choices. There is at least one vegetarian option per course, a rarity in Germany.All in all, worth visiting and certainly if you like the local cuisine."

"Das Centrum in Linden verfügt über eine sehr umfangreiche Karte vegetarischer und veganer Gerichte.Darüberhinaus gibt es jedoch auch Gerichte mit Fleich.Die fleischfreien Gerichte sind jedoch keine Gerichte der vegetarische/vegane Gerichte sondern eher um klassische Fleichgerichte (Burger, Schnitzel, Geschnetzeltes, Gulasch, etc) jedoch auf Sojabasis. Die Einrichtung und das Publikum ist Linden-typisch eher alternativ. Der Service ist freundlich. Allerdings war ich schon öfters dort Gast und jedesmal hat die Bestellung sehr lange (meist zwischen 40-60 Minuten) in Anspruch genommen. Mich stört das nicht sonderlich, da es meist recht nett im Centrum ist. Dennoch fällt die lange Wartezeit jedesmal auf. Das kann natürlich auch an der frischen Zubereitung liegen.Ich kann das Centrum für alle, die kein Fleisch essen nur empfehlen."

"Ich bin mal wieder in Hannover zu Besuch und da das Wetter schön war und der Platz vor der Lutherkirche toll ist, wollte ich hier Spargel probieren.Wie soll ich es sagen, ohne, dass es zu krass klingt...? Es war der schlimmste Spargel, den ich je hatte. Die paar Stangen waren schlecht geschält, schwammen in Hollondaise Fertigsauce und hatten auch sonst kaum Geschmack ( wenn man mal ein Stück ohne Sauce erwischte). Der Parmaschinken war ein trockenes Häufchen Elend. Die Bedienung war bemüht aber inkompetent. Alles in allem eine Schande, dass so ein schlechtes - ja was eigentlich? - Restaurant den Lutherplatz verunglimpft. Geht lieber in's Extrakt. Da gibt's Besseres für (noch) weniger Geld."

"I visited this restaurant during a recent stay in Hannover together with my husband and a German friend. Initial impression was poor - when we said we wanted to eat, we were pointed to the upstairs dining area, but once I made it clear that I could not manage the stairs, there was some discussion amongst the staff and we were offered a table in the Gute Stube - a sort of 'snug' at the rear of the ground floor. The room was delightfully decorated with various memorabilia.The building has originally been a brewery, but now serves a selection of good beers - our friend and the waitress guided our choice and I sampled two very different, but very tasty beers.My husband ate currywurst - his favourite German dish, our friend had herrings and I had a pork Haxe - learning later that Haxe is the roast form of Eisbein and both are pork knuckle (but lamb is a frequent alternative).The food was good and tasty. There was no pressure on us to leave the establishment once we had eaten.It probably helped that we speak German and were with a German friend, but I cannot fault this establishment and would happily eat there again."

"The restaurant is located directly on the Deisterstrass. A huge road even after 18:00. Nevertheless, we decided to sit down. The Bruschetta was very fresh and crispy. The pizzas were large, thin soil with no excessive coating. Even the artichokes were fresh. Service very attentive. Unfortunately, there is no Alster as drinks are served in the bottle. But a good alternative Italian cyclist."

"Mein Mann hat eine vegane Pizza hier bestellt. Das Personal schien jedoch eigentlich nicht zu wissen, was das Wort "vegan" bedeutet. Ich habe im Fenster gelesen, dass auch Kaffee, Cappuccino, Waffeln und Crêpes zur Verfügung standen, und zwar alles auch auf Wunsch vegan. Als ich mir jedoch einen Cappuccino mit Sojamilch, oder sogar einen Kaffee mit Sojamilch wünschte, hat das Personal mich ausgelacht, und mir mitgeteilt, dass sie keine Sojamilch hätten. Mein Mann hat das Restaurant - was sich als Stehcafé erwies - für unser Mittagessen ausgewählt, als Unterbrechung während einer 6-stündigen Fahrt, und zumindest ich konnte nichts dort essen oder trinken mangels zur Verfügung stehender veganer Zutaten. Ich hätte gern z. B. eine vegane Waffel gegessen, aber das geht auch nicht ohne Sojamilch. Ich war aufgrund der nicht zutreffenden Aussage im Fenster sehr enttäuscht. Die Pizza Vegan Cheese meines Mannes war aber lecker."

"Right in the always busy Limmestr. you can find this little vietnamese charming place. All dishes can be ordered as veg n and all of them are mouthwatering! Service can look bit stressed sometimes but still nice, food comes quickly and soo tasty you will go there more than once for sure!"

"Nach über 20 Jahren waren wir einmal wieder hier und wieder begeistert. Eine unverändert wunderbare Auswahl an Gerichten, die weder an Qualität, Portionsgrössen noch an der Präsentation irgendwelche Wünsche offen lassen. Köstliche Spätzle in verschiedenen Variationen als konstante Auswahl, dazu saisonale Besonderheiten. Gestern war es z.B. ein perfekt zubereiteter Rehrücken oder in der Dessertauswahl ein Zwetschgenparfait mit einer Zwetschgensauce dazu. Ausnahmslos alle Gerichte waren einfach nur grossartig, wurden liebevollst präsentiert und zaubern jedem einfach nur ein glückliches Lächeln ins Gesicht! Toll fanden wir auch den Begrüßungsapperitiv, der nach all den Jahren noch immer exakt derselbe und noch immer einfach nur köstlich ist. Eine schöne Geste! Sehr genossen haben wir den erstklassigen Service des Inhabers, der mit endloser Ruhe, Freundlichkeit und Geduld seine Gäste persönlich mit allen Köstlichkeiten versorgt hat und den Service komplett allein gerockt hat! Chapeau!! Das Spätzle-Haus ein must- wer hier nicht war hat eines der besten Restaurants der Stadt definitiv verpasst. Danke für den tollen Abend. Wir kommen wieder!"

"Strongly overpriced, especially with regard to the price-performance ratio for food. They know how to make really good cocktails! Unfortunately, my group was kicked out after the first five minutes at our last visit (after we waited a quarter of an hour for a free table). Reasons: We hadn't heard outside and one of us would have played with the candle in there (he just did it out and back on). The decision was made instantly and there was no way to find out what we allegedly had done wrong or to regulate the situation. The boss (who made this decision) didn't talk to her. If these problems are dealt with, I don't want to support this shed!"

"Restaurant looks clean, and the environment is nice.There was only one guys working there doing everything.We were a group of 6. First we order starters. It was the "combo" of different finger food.It comes with one empanada (the only "different" thing) together with three pieces of fried banana, 1 mini fried summer roll and 2 mini fried spring rolls (the same little ones you buy frozen in the market). The dish also includes a bit of market-best-seller chio dip salsa. And they call the dish "African traditional".As main dish I had one of the "suggested" dish. In the menu they have some "stickers" near the dishes. The sticker that looks like the logo of the restaurant means the "house favorites".Is was the second most expensive dish in the menu consisting of 2 very small lamb skewers with a bit of attieke. The dish took very long to come, when it came the food was cold and the lamb was over grilled (almost toasted).I asked for a beer, an african beer, as stated in the menu. I got a Guinness!!! A Guinness which was bottled in Nigeria. To summarize, I got an overpriced overcooked little lamb skewers and a overpriced "African" Guinness. I could have paid a forth of the price, for better taste food in the xmas markets right outside the restaurant. In the end, we asked for the bill and the waiter was borderline of being rude. He left the bill on our table and said: "you can do the math". That's not German standards. Any other restaurant the waiter would take our payment separately. The 2 main reasons that took us there were:First, we tried to go to another restaurant before... it was too crowded so we moved on...Second, the good reviews of the this restaurant in TripAdvisor... which now I see were not helpful at all.We reached an unanimous decision in the group: we won't come back."

"Wir gehen seit Jahren ins Bavarium und sind (bis auf eine Phase zwischendurch) immer zufrieden! Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich und reichlich! Die kleinen Schmankerl sind für uns eher ein normales Hauptgericht. Die Hauptgerichte kann man sich fast teilen! Beim Schweinebraten gibt es zwei große Scheiben, Knödeln und reichlich Rotkohl. Die Fleischpflanzerl werden mit frischem Kartoffelstampf und Petersilienmöhren gereicht! Die Zutaten sind qualitativ hochwertig und es schmeckt lecker! Obwohl die Portionen reichlich sind ist man nicht so übersättigt!"

"Gestern waren wir erneut im Kytaro und ich muss sagen, dass es durch die Renovierung erheblich gewonnen hat, es sieht edler aus. Der Service ist wie gewohnt sehr freundlich und um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Das Essen ist auch wie gewohnt gut und erfreulich ist mir aufgefallen, dass die neue Karte einen vergrößerten Bereich an vegetarischen Speisen anbietet. Das Kytaro findet man in einem schönen alte Bauernhaus in Hannover-Bemerode. Durch das alte Bauernhaus werden auch die Räumlichkeiten des Lokals bestimmt. Es liegt im Erdgeschoss und ist im vorderen Teil auch für Rollstuhlfahrer gut erreichbar. Der größere Teil des Gastraums liegt hinter der Bar und ist teilweise nur über Stufen erreichbar. Die Möbel sind aus dunklem Holz und an den Wänden finden sich große Spiegel und moderne Bilder. Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich, fast schon familiär und mit der Speisekarte gab es einen Ouzo als Aperetiv. Die Speisekarte und eine Tageskarte mit einigen ausgesuchten Gerichten wurde uns überreicht. Die Karte ist umfangreich und jeder Gast sollte hier etwas finden können. In der Karte findet man neben den üblichen Kinder- und Seniorenteller, auch vegetarische Gerichte und was wirklich selten ist, eine Auswahl Kohlenhydrat reduzierte Gerichte. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Salat vom Buffet und Brot. Hier war auch der einzige Schwachpunkt des Abends. Der Salat war nicht mehr ganz frisch und hatte auch schon braune Stellen. Außerdem war das Salatbuffet nicht wirklich Griechisch. Im Hauptgang hatten wir Leber vom Schwein mit gerösteten Zwiebeln, Metaxasauce, Kytaro Kartoffelspalten und Tomatenreis. Das zweite Gericht war ein Thyamis-Teller mit Gyros, zwei Suzuki, Schweineleber, Röstkartoffeln und Tomatenreis. Beide Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft und ansprechend angerichtet, da konnte auch das Auge mitessen. Ich sag mal, das ist Griechisch Essen wie es sein sollte. Obwohl das Restaurant, für einen Wochentag, sehr gut gefüllt war, hat der Service nicht nachgelassen. Sie waren trotzdem sehr freundlich und haben sich sehr um die Gäste bemüht. Ich werde hier bestimmt noch öfter Essen gehen."

"Went there with my parent which come here quite frequently. Monte Collo is not an Italian restaurant as the name may suggest though serving some pasta dishes. Servings are gigantic and at least for my choices (Porcini cream soup and Spaghetti Amatriciana) a bit disappointing (soup was pure cream and the Amatriciana: using bacon instead of pancetta or guanciale, pasta overcooked and cheese (parmesan not pecorino - though the cheese was fresh) only served after asking.Having said that, my company was pretty happy with their food (also big servings) and the restaurant also continues to draw many customers from the neighborhood.Prices are very low - some of the dishes are offered as "half" serving and i would generally recommend to do that.Service was very friendly."

"this restaurant found on tripadvisor and it was too foot from my hotel next to the railway station and decided to try it. the decor is pretty inside, and I was quickly waited. along with the beer I ordered, the waitress...I gave a free chilled glass ouzo a nice note! I ordered the mixed grill plate, which was special and delicious. the part was large and a good bargain at 11,50 €, which contained salat, french and rice. the gyro was exceptionally tasty it was really shaved meat, well sown and somehow crispy on the outside, and not the preformed sorts that they get in the usa. everything and everything, I can definitely recommend this restaurant!"
