"Se chiedete a un imperiese di consigliarvi un posto per la pausa pranzo a Oneglia, vi farà senz 'altro il nome di Upapa. Questo piccolo ristorantino, davanti al mercato coperto di Oneglia, si distingue dagli altri perché la sera fa la farinata, sia da asporto che da mangiare lì, con variazioni sul tema della semplice sfoglia di farina di ceci e acqua. La farinata è quella che a Pisa si chiama cecìna (mentre se prendete la farinata a Firenze vi propinano una minestra : in una teglia molto ampia viene steso un impasto liquido di farina di ceci e acqua che messo nel forno a legna cuoce, si solidifica e si crostifica. Insieme, o a freddo, possono essere aggiunti ingredienti vari: la cipolla o il porro, la salsiccia, magari anche lo stracchino. La farinata è un piatto povero della tradizione ligure (più di Levante che di Ponente in realtà ed è molto buona. A pranzo però da Upapa niente farinata, ma una vera pausa pranzo, con la scelta tra primi, secondi e dolci. E tra i dolci, la loro pannacotta fatta in casa ti riconcilia col mondo, parola mia! Servizio veloce, personale cordiale, gli ingredienti per un 'ottima pausa pranzo vicino al mare ci sono tutti!"

"Not obvious food for a bar. We had a burger with chips, a meat tartare with poached egg and grilled chicken with vegetables. All accompanied by a piece of simple focaccia and a stuffed one. With water and tea we spent 45 euros. The meat was spectacular as was the focaccia. I would only recommend air conditioning in the glassed-in outdoor area. Super service!!!"

"local cuisine with good unpretentious good food with tablecloths and paper napkins, menu with few dishes but with € local white wine you have lunch. fried squid with anchovies and scampi and a generous portion enough for lunch. Gorgeous but the squids were fried a minute too. vote as sweet a few steps the ice cream shop the waterline classification with stars clasp in the fixed menu of fish € There are external dehors with port view . in minutes we have lunch . it is recommended to have lunch at the hours , later you also expect minutes ."

"this wonderful place was the destination of our last dinner in the past weekend in imperia (after several years we were missing. ) first attracted us to the quiet atmosphere that transmitted to us while peeing the inside and with an eye to the outside menu. we were looking for a restaurant that could offer us a Ligurian cuisine, of course also with some revisitation, but of tradition. so once the impact has been entered, it has been remarkable. environment collected and well furnished. the tables well spaced and a really tasteful apparatus....the reception by anna was another chicca .. made us feel really pampered .. the menu then. a confirmation of what we had already read on the outside....so a thin superlative cappon, delicious borage ravioli with a stratospheric ragù (let's not forget that the Ligurian is also ground cuisine,) a fish soup with a particular brodetto where the lack of tomato was a must! all served elegantly and familiar at the same time, in which every request for explanation on the dishes was filled. and also the presence of the chef was really appreciated. Finally the account was absolutely congruous with what was served. regulations on ongoing health emergency always respected. so stars deserved for everything and we will definitely come back from bread and wine when we will be imperia. "Premetto che è la prima volta che faccio una recensione ma in questo caso è proprio dovuta In questo ristorante 'AL GAMBERO ' Siamo finiti per caso io e la mia compagna il giorno di Natale dopo un breve preavviso di una telefonata tengo a precisare 12.30 E nonostante tutto ciò Omar credo che fosse il responsabile ad ogni nostra richiesta con molta premura ha fatto in modo di soddisfarla. Io ho seguito il menu alla carta che mi è stato proposto, UN 'ESPLOSIONE DI GUSTO!!!! Piatti freschi semplici e gustosi La mia compagna pur non seguendo il menu è rimasta soddisfattissima sia come cibo che come tempistica le portate sono arrivate sempre in parallelo. BRAVI RAGAZZI!!!!! Ci torneremo di sicuro!!! BUONE FESTE A TUTTI"

"Lovely lunch on a rare rainy day in Imperia, right next to il Duomo. The fried anchovies were deliciously fresh and mouth-watering. The pasta frutti di mare was buttery and delicious. The orecchiette were amazing. The gamba had an entire egg roe, which was too good to describe in words. Annalita, our waitress, was polite, friendly, warm and welcoming. She noticed us quickly and made sure everything was alright. Would definitely eat here again."

"My opinion on the food was mixed. The portions are generous, the waitress friendly and we ate on the terrace. But when I entered the restaurant to pay I was hit by the foul smell of the kitchen and seeing the dirt in the room (where the desserts were made) I greatly regretted my meal.
