"Ho una sorpresa e mi hanno portato in questo ristorante, sapendo quanto amo questo tipo di cucina. il locale e molto ben tenuto, i tavoli rotondi trasmettono convivialit! servizio e molto attento e gentile! tutte le norme covidi sono rispettate. abbiamo scelto di ordinare la carta e non fare il menu di degotazione. Gli ingressi di benvenuto sono portati: acciughe ripiene di pasta fritta ripiene di zucca fritta ripiene di pane di salsa di pomodoro con burro con olio della loro produzione abbiamo bevuto una grande franciacorta (9 un bicchiere) abbiamo ordinato: gamberi di oneglia marinati ad agrumi e mirino con pistacchio a paprika. 28 (il pi pi pi pi scenografico a mio parere calato ripieno di zucchine tromba su panissa ripassata al chive e delicato zuppetta di bagnato cauda.22 (la panissa era eccezionale spaghetti olio e chili con riccioli di mare, battuto di gamberetti e tonno artigianale bottarga. 32 (per i miei goti salati, ma mi stupiva la porzione piuttosto abbondante! il pesce era indiscutibilmente tutti i cappellani freschi ripieni di pesto, su patate soffiate. 24 agnello cotto nella camomilla, e piccole verdure e il suo fondo. 30 (un gusto molto speciale presser: croccante con mandorle, con base di biscotti e zabaione torta di formaggio soffiato con ricotta pecora, edamame, gele alla viola e cassis . 10 semi di cocco e chia con composta di ananas, mango e frutto della passione. 10 (Mi è piaciuto molto insieme al caffè sono serviti alcuni pasticcini, (una vera coccola dall'inizio alla fine della cena) per noi un (3 un caffè coperto 4 e acqua 3 per un totale di 194, il prezzo alto ma sicuramente un'esperienza da fare in grandi occasioni. Spero di tornare in primavera/estate per mangiare nei tavoli all'aperto vista mare."

"La location è veramente carina immersi nel piccolo borgo..il dehor è nella corte tra le case colorate.. Il personale molto gentile e rapido.. Il cibo..per quello che abbiamo preso noi..siamo rimasti soddisfatti.. Abbiamo preso cose abbastanza semplici, bisognerebbe provare delle cose più elaborate. Nonostante è stata una giornata molto piovosa e ventosa abbiamo mangiato persino fuori e siamo rimasti coperti grazie ai grandi ombrelloni.. Penso che se ritornerò da quelle parti, tornerò a fare un altro giro.."

"While staying in Porto Maurizio, near Imperia, I've spent 3 full days at Spiaggia d'Oro (golden beach) and I have had 3 consecutive lunches at Altamarea (high tide) restaurant. Forget the fast food, if any that you get in many beach places. This little restaurant offers very satisfying Italian food. My starter was the same for the 3 days, I liked it that much. Simple, but effective. A fresh gazpacho (cold tomato soup, basically) but this one came with fresh sauted small squids. It was simply delicious. As to the main course, I had one day deep fried fish and veggies (fritto misto), very nice! And one day they went out of their menu, transforming a sirloin from Piemont beef in a steak tartare....All in all, this is one good beach experience....."

"We called in to Imperia on our way home to France and found this delightful little restaurant. Friendly service, we had stuffed mussels, spaghetti with octopus and the most amazing fish of the day, followed by a lovely desert, with bread and fizzy water all for €76 (2 of us). Our dog was welcomed, everything was delicious especially the fish which was cooked to perfection. We look forward to returning next time we travel this way."

"It was nice to notice a vegan label on the menu! The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is friendly. I was glad to see a tofu dish on the menu, because it is quite rare in Italy. I had too high hopes. The Tofu had absolutely no season, and the sides did not turn on it. I wish I had tried something else. Even if the Tofu was a disappointment, I could go back because the staff was very friendly and customer service - compared to many other Italian restaurants."

"It'll probably be a little long review, but they deserve all the compliments I'll do. Then I start with the fact that it hit me immediately, that is the attention to the exceptional customer; we had booked for a Sunday evening through google, just 10 minutes after booking calls us the owner to ask us if we have intolerances or something we cannot eat (but you saw such a high attention of a manager). I explain that my wife is pregnant so she needs some insights into the preparations. The owner tells me that there are no problems and in fact as soon as we arrive at dinner they present the menu both tasting (recommended) and paper, reasserting that for my wife they would prepare everything according to the pregnancy. We opt for the 4-course tasting menu that includes 1 appetizer, 1 first, 1 second and dessert, and to this we add 1 bottle of Prosecco and 1 non-alcoholic for my wife. All courses were exceptional at starry restaurants, not to mention the chocolate cake with the passion that I think was the best dessert ever eaten. Finally I took a coffee and a bitter. The account was 129€ that I was happy to spend because I reiterate that it was a unique culinary experience. Congratulations to the owner, chef and all staff in general. Surely when I return to Imperia I will still come to eat from you."

"we found this restaurant by chance here on tripadvisor, reading reviews and looking at the photos we were curious and decided to try. My boyfriend and I arrived before other friends and immediately the owner attacks button with us with the excuse of the bike, a person very so and super to the hand there is no need to stress that he has already made us an excellent impression. At the time of order, seeing us a little bit undecided, we propose a frying as an appetizer to share: Very good! Scrabbles, squid, fish. all delicious and the quantities were right we order a sea salad, two calamarates, a smoked octopus (excellent presentation,) pasta to the school and another first. Everything really exquisite, so much to ask for a refill of bread for 3 times to make the shoe! Alice, the daughter, does great desserts as well as being very courteous and kind. Final opinion? deserves, it really deserves both in sympathy and at the level of price and quality of food!CONSIGLIATISSIMO!A hug from the boys. of envelope"

"Un buonissimo ristorante per pranzo o cena. Abbiamo mangiato a I sognatori e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Personale molto gentile e cibo proprio buono. Si sente la qualità delle materie prime cucinate in modo semplice ed efficace. Presentazione anche molto carina. C'è un bel dehor che da sul mare, ma anche dentro si sta bene, soprattutto a cena. Polpo buonissimo, la pasta, fatta in casa, deliziosa, sarde fritte perfettamente. Per dolce? Un buon cannolo siciliano. Se passate ad Imperia, mangiate da loro e non sbagliate. Secondo me va bene si per una cena romantica che un pasto con la famiglia (attrezzato per i bambini). Bravi!"

"Un locale dove si respira e si assaggia la pizza napoletana,nel menu ci sono poche pizze ma tutte veramente buone,la pizza è la classica con il cornicione alto e morbido,io ho preso una pizza salsiccia e friarielli. Ottimi i dolci fatti in casa il babà,il tiramisù alla crema di pistacchio.il locale ha alcuni tavoli che si affacciano sul mare.il personale è gentile e molto accattivante ti fa sentire come se tu fossi a casa tua. Da provare assolutamente!!"

"Due volte mangiato :una da asporto le pizze e una al locale fuori. BELLISSIMO!!!consiglio di venire in questo posto dove io e la mia famiglia abbiamo mangiato benissimo! Le pizze super buone, io ho preso i ravioli con il ragù di verdurine ed erano meravigliosi. E poi consiglio la pizza con la salsiccia che e' strabuona! I dolci come il tortino al pistacchio e il tartufo nero deliziosi. E poi x il mio bimbo che ha ordinato il gelato , gli hanno dato la tazzina a zebra. Quindi ambiente adatto veramente alle famiglie, alle coppie ,amici, tutti!! Il personale e' gentilissimo e veloce nel portare le portate.Super felice. Sicuramente ci torneremo"

"Cibo squisito, abbondante e digeribile, quest 'ultima caratteristica non è da dare per scontata perché anche un cibo di gusto piacevole può poi risultare pesante per lo stomaco; nel mio caso, nonostante la cena abbondante, è andato tutto liscio. Personale gentile, tempistica di servizio buona, considerato che non ti servono cibo precotto, le cose buone e genuine vanno attese il giusto. Per il fast food c 'è un 'altra opzione nelle vicinanze, se proprio avete tutta 'sta fretta e vi piace mangiare junk food cibo rumenta, in ligure). Brave ragazze! P. S. "Located in the upper part of the town among old historical buildings. Their motto “Mediterranean cuisine and gastronomy resistance” most probably refers that food is homemade as per old days and pizzas are cooked in wood-fired oven. In fact, their menu is very limited (handwritten) is more a pizzeria than restaurant... We had some appetizers (16,00) were pieces of variety savoury cakes; a pizza (8,00) and a chickpea flatcake (local recipe with scallions, 8,50). The pizza and the chickpea flatcake were excellent, soft, tasty and not burned underneath, we particularly liked more the chickpea flatcake. It was nice to sit and dine outdoors on the street, luckily no vehicle passed when we were seated there; very local and not modern “polluted”; don’t think English is well spoken; service was just average (not particularly friendly) and took some time to have the pizzas, a minus; place, a minus (depending point of view if looking something very local without frills, can rate a plus) but the food is a plus. P.S. Armuen means strawberry tree (arbutus unedo) in local dialect."

"I've been with a couple of friends and kids tonight. He's lying only on the pizzas. present then only desserts no kitchen also for appetizer or side dishes. a small choice even in drinking, no beer at spinama only two brands in bottle, I died for which I did not give the stars. regarding pizza, absolutely positive judgment, excellent consistency and leaven, in short, the true Neapolitan pizza. the condiment honors it also, absolutely substantial and with excellent quality raw materials. for those who love Neapolitan pizza certainly recommended"

"This restaurant is presided over by Sergio the owner, who is the star of the show!! He loves his customers and is just a bundle of energy. The food is what he decides more or less you will have, the wine is red or white, the place is loud in the the summer and more quiet now. It is louder when Sergio gets excited over some detail missed by his long suffering staff!!! I eat here every night whilst in Imperia. Spaghetti with fresh pomodoro and basilico, spaghetti with seafood, mussels in tomato spiced sauce all these were delicious. Wine from Alba is very acceptable for glugging, you can have still or sparkling water, and they dont mind at all that I like cappucino at 10.30 pm. Sergio speaks some English, and Flavia who serves as his madame server speaks a little as well. As a chef myself I take them a little gift when I go which is graciously received!! On this trip he tried to charge me 10 euros for wine water, coffee and pasta. I refused to pay and gave him 20 euros, still a bargain. The restaurant is so economical I wonder how he makes a profit but he doesn't seem to mind. The next day it was still 20 euros including tip, the following day it was 20 euros and I looked after the staff who looked after me. If you ever find yourself here, eat and be well. There are no frills or flounces, but there is a warm welcome and food you can enjoy. Plus you get to watch the show of Sergio working the tables!!!!"

"We enjoyed cocktails for lunch on the outside terrace. We found the tables too small to enjoy our lunch, so we moved inside. No problem, although not done in Italy. I enjoyed the fresh salmon, and my family the Caesar chicken salad. Delicious, and plenty. The service was very friendly and fast."
