"Ich war nun das 2.Mal privat dort, mein Partner u.a. auch mal geschäftlich und es war wieder einmal super! Die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und gut gelaunt, trotz des schweisstreibenden Wetters. Die Vorspeise bestand dieses Mal aus einem vorzüglichen Vitello Tomate und einen ebenso leckerenen Lachs tartar mit Avocardo. Die Hauptspeise waren kleine Nüdelchen mit einem Kaninchen Gulasch und Pfifferlingen. Ich schwelge jetzt noch in Erinnerungen. Etwas so Gutes mit Kaninchen hatte ich noch NIE gegessen!!!Auch der Seeteufel auf frischen Bohnen mit Paprikaschaum war lt.meines Partners vorzüglich. Dazu gab es natürlich einen Tessiner Punkt noir.Alles in Allem ein wunderschöner Abend unter riesigen Plantanen mit freundlicher Bedienung und vorzüglichen Essen und Trinken.Preise liegen schon im oberen Bereich, sind jedoch durch die Qualität und Leistung gerechtfertigt.WIEDER IN LUGANO WIEDER IM SALUTE :"

"If you want to save on restaurant costs in Lugano this is the right place. We went for 2 consecutive evenings and were never disappointed. The first evening we chose pizza. All at 10chf which for Lugano is unlikely when the average in other places is at least 15chf for a Margherita. Reasonable prices also for beers and desserts. We spent 93chf for 4 with 4 squares, 3 beers, 1 coke and 4 desserts. Not only the price but also the quality of the pizza is excellent despite being in Switzerland. We return the next evening and have 1 mixed grill with side dish, 1 pasta with meat sauce and 1 carbonara, same drink and same desserts and we spent 130chf. Very good! Fabulous grilled meat cooked just right, even the carbonara, despite being with bacon and not bacon, was very good in taste. We're a bit disappointed because the place is a bit isolated and seems little frequented, but we always found the place very full. The waitresses recognized us immediately, always with a smile and never rude, like the owners always checking that everything is in order. A point of reference for good food, excellent value for money."

"During these times of Coronavirus I was looking for a burger delivery and this place is one of the few open and allows the delivery of food. The choice fell on the bombastic with the addition of egg in a Menù with frits and coke. Even if it was delivered, the burger came as it was just served by her counter. The rolls were not soggy, the meat was cooked with perfection and was perfectly matched with all the other ingredients: Cheddar, BBQ sauce, onion rings (very soft in their bread crust), bacon and roasted onion. Definitely recommended. Go on."

"We went to this place nights since it was in walking distance from our hotel. First night was perfect with organized service good wine recommendation, fantastic Filetsteak from bbq. With the other nights service was unorganized and it seemed to be a...lottery if you got your course or not. We saw our beef leaving the bbq and it never made it to our table. We ordered a second bottle of wine to pass time… that was nearly empty when we were asked if we wanted dessert… we then pointed out that we had not yet had our main course… next time I got my starter and my husband’s only came after an inquiry from our side. Long story short: the Service staff is in dear need of someone to organize them. Food, however, is very tasty and recommendable."

"We went to this place for dinner as it was just next to our hotel and there were literally no vegan/veggie places opened for dinner in Lugano (quite a shame as all vegan places here are only opened during lunch hours). The menu is really big, guessing around 70 dishes available but only one vegan pizza on it! In the end we found out that a tomato bruschetta and pasta arrabbiata were vegan too but there are no signs for vegan/vegetarian/GF etc on the menu which is really disappointing. Overall pizza and bruschetta were really good but pasta was way too spicy for Italian standards."

"we eat two very good and very cheap pizzas. our Italian AirBnb host had recommended us this restaurant (yet only for pizzas).The pizzas were very good, but unfortunately the service was anything but friendly. the one waiter was a bit overturned and loud and gave us the worst place of all pizzeria in a dark corner "i’ll give you the best place, the president’s place." a comic who probably doesn’t hold much of tourist;-)."

"3.5 Punkte würde ich geben. Pasta war i. O. aber nichts besonderes. Pizza hat schöne Grösse und dünner Boden dafür etwas viel Rand. Pizzakonzept mit eigener Zusammenstellung finde ich super. Aber gesamte Pizza war leider nicht mehr als i. O. Am besten war der Preis und die Lieferzeit. Hatten trotz vollem Restaurant weniger als 15min gewartet. Würden für einen schnellen Imbiss wieder kommen aber nicht für eine top italienische Pizza."

"Unfortunately the quality of the food was very poor. We ordered the perch filet with butter and sage sauce with parmesan risotto. The risotto was probably rice cooked in cream, not seasoned with wine, vegetable stock, onion/garlic or other spices. The fish fillet was small breaded pieces of fish that were probably deep fried or fried in copious amounts of butter. No fishy taste noticeable anymore. The sauce consisted of sage leaves fried in butter. Plates carelessly arranged. Overall, the second most expensive dish on the menu was not recommended. Even cafeteria food is better! The gnocchi was also ordered with Gorgonzola sauce and saffron. Gorgonzola was not tasted, saffron dominates the whole meal. Children's dish (macaroni with tomato sauce) was served cold and the tomato sauce was probably not homemade. Absolutely not recommended restaurant for food. Poor quality at completely exorbitant prices. 0 points!!!"

"Omg! Die Hälfte der Theke waren vegane Eiscremes. Die vegane Nuss war schon mal der Hammer. Werde die nächsten Gage noch die anderen veganen Eissorte ausprobieren. Sie Sprachen kein Deutsch dafür Englisch. Und man kann zwischen diversen Cornets oder Becher wählen. Es gibt auch Glutenfreie Eis Cornets. "A normal Macedoo. Unfortunately there are far too few vegetarian burgers and nuggets, so I practically never shop there. It's a shame, but most people look away and turn their heads off when animals are killed. Unfortunately there are only machines there for ordering, probably to optimize profits. But it is very well located by the lake a little away from the center."

"This place addresses one of the most common problems with burgers: the (often boring) bun, by replacing it with oven-fresh pizza dough rolls! There 's more to this place than this tasty gimmick, though. The meat patties actually taste like real beef, and have some texture! I was also happy to see that the hot burger comes with slices of fresh jalapenos, rather than the bland, mushy, pickled slices most places would serve, so, that 's another win in my books. Oh, and the fries sort of look like McDonald 's fries, but done right: they 're crispy, and just lightly salted, very good! The chicken burger is also a winner, with slices of juicy, crispy fried chicken, good job there, too. All in all, a very nice burger joint, and I 'm hard to please when it comes to burgers! If I can only make one suggestion for improvement: I 'd like a little bit more sauce in the burger, the top half of the bun was a bit dry. Would make it even more of a sloppy mess, though. But that 's half the fun."

"I had the opportunity to try this place for both lunch and dinner and I must say that it is suitable for lunches during the midday break. Excellent pizza, appetizers and desserts. Friendly and customer-focused staff. The environment is too noisy for dinner and if you happen to be on the veranda it is also a little cold. Some dishes to review a little: Sticky cheese and pepper, clotted carbonara, less tasty bacon... in short, we need to work better on the preparations. It's a shame because the ideas proposed are good, but the expectations are not met."

"The place is very beautiful, with a complete panoramic view of the lake, but I do not recommend it at all due to the poor treatment of the restaurant staff. From the first time they saw us, Arabs and Muslims. She said that it is not good to sit directly on the view. She gave us a far table and said that you must eat. "Strepitosa posizione con vista straordinaria. Un vero peccato che questo "ristorante" non colga l'opportunità per offrire un'esperienza di qualità ai propri clienti. Un'insalata con qualche strisciolina di pollo a 19 Franchi e una bottiglia d'acqua minerale a 8,90 Franchi vanno giù solo guardando il bel panorama. E nel conto, cosa dire del cambio Franco Svizzero alla pari con l'Euro? Ecco la risposta: "è troppo complicato aggiornare il cambio tutti i giorni nel sistema". Unico punto a favore va alla professionalità, disponibilità e correttezza di A. ma non penso lo troverete lì, tra qualche giorno torna a fare il Butler."

"Das Restaurant punktet ohne Frage durch seine außergewöhnliche Lage! Fantastischer Rundumblick auf den Luganer See, weil es sich an der Spitze einer kleinen Landzunge befindet.Das war es dann aber auch leider schon mit begeisternden Aus und Einblicken.Eine gelangweilte Bedienung, 2 Krabbencocktails, die in Mayonnaise praktisch ertrunken sind, 2 Pizzen, die gschmacklich eigentlich nur von der darauf befindlichen Chorizowurst gelebt haben, 1 kleiner gemischter Salat und eine Flasche Wasser für 130 CHF stellen leider kein tragfähiges Preis Lestungsverhältnis dar. Man bezahlt definitiv die Location das sollte man wissen und das sollte es einem dann auch Wert sein.Was aber u.E. gar nicht geht, ist die Tatsache, dass bei der Zahlung mit der Kreditkarte OHNE zu fragen, automatisch die Umrechnung in Euro abgerechnet wird! Anschließend darauf angesprochen, erhielten wir diese Antwort ohne Schuldbewußtsein: Das macht die Maschine automatisch . Das ist natürlich ziemlich dreister Unsinn, denn die Einstellung muss manuell vorgenommen werden und vor Allem, der Kunde MUSS dem vorher zugestimmt haben, scheint hier aber wohl bei europäischen (vor Allem deutschen) Ausländern üblich zu sein. Daher die warnende Überschrift. Auf diese Art und Weise werden nicht unerhebliche zusätzliche Wechsel und Bearbeitungs gebühren automatisch eingetrieben."
