"Together with a friend we stopped by to grab a quick pizza before going to the cinema immediately afterwards. I 'll start by saying that I 've already been there twice and so far I 've always had a good time. We ordered two pizzas and a water to drink, wanting to save it for later. We were the first customers, they had already placed a little something on the table for us to munch on which I appreciated and asked two different waiters if we didn 't also want an aperitif. They seemed surprised and a bit insistent but I told myself I was exaggerating. Upon returning from the bathroom, however, I pass by the waiters who were taking our order, and the man exclaims Do these people only drink water??? . Stunned, I turn and look at them offended. Following the dessert order which we always wanted to avoid to make room for the popcorn, I felt obliged to justify myself on the Cinema issue to the waitress and order an espresso, but I shouldn 't have. These things shouldn 't happen in restaurants! friendliness is the minimum! There 's no point in wishing me a good evening if you say anything to your customers behind your back. I 'm sorry but I think I won 't go there again, too bad."

It feels like eating in Naples with Neapolitan sympathy. A must try when you are in Lugano.

slow service, pizza so hard that you didn't cut. Once the waiter made the point, he told us that we don't understand anything about pizzas because only by real Neapolitan can be judged. Happy birthday!

We always come back with pleasure in this magical restaurant, where everything is perfect: Neapolitan pizza, Neapolitan pastry, outdoor tables on the river and beautiful trees and last but not least the very kind and caring staff (very beautiful waiters .) thank you to exist. View menu

the waiters are kind but apart from this with the neighbor italia and the big competition on the territory is not acceptable to pay a beer 0,4, 7.50 Fr.....a salad very simple 25.50 fr. and to finish a coffee espresso 3,80 fr. do not SIAMO....With those prices I would say not to go!!

If it wasn't for waiting times, unfortunately long enough, this restaurant serves excellent dishes. Very kind and helpful waiters who, in my opinion, run here and there to serve all the tables, sometimes, forget someone; despite this the place is located in a very quiet and pleasant environment.

The pizza is always excellent. The staff are genuinely Neapolitan (and in Lugano this is no small feat... . Unfortunately they make you pay (CHF 2.50 for the sad little plate that you find on the table when you sit down, with two tiny pieces of cold, clotted pizza. Strange operation to collect money... I usually don't post reviews, but I had to go after one of the worst dinners in the last story. I had pasta with a clam sauce that was soggy and watery. the muddles themselves were not too bad, but the rest of the dish was almost unusable. left after the main course and had dessert in another restaurant because I didn't want to risk trying out their desserts.

I usually don't post reviews but I had to after having had one of the worst dinners in recent history. I had pasta with a mussel sauce which was soggy and watery. The mussels itself were not too bad but the rest of the dish...was almost inedible. Left after the main course and had dessert at another restaurant as I didn't want to risk trying out their desserts as well.

"Me and my husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We came all the way from USA and I can tell you this place didn't disappoint us. Very nice location, close to the lake and easy to find. We started our 5 course chef's tasting menu from appetizers by chef. It was mix of cheeses in different variations deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho soup. 1.Our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, peach and lemon sauce. It was absolutely delightful. 2.Then we had poached egg in creamy pea puree and shaved with Belèer Knolle cheese. It was also one of my favorite dishes because it was so creamy and egg was a great addition to this dish. Also there were Bona crumbles sweet to balance the pea puree. 3. Next Paccheridi Gragnano halves with oriental veal ragout. unfortunately this pasta wasn't my favorite. It was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick uncooked pasta. We ask waiter and he confirmed that's the way it should be. Also too much peanuts overwhelmed the sauce and it felt you are eating sneakers. But I absolutely loved veal ragout sauce, it was rich with flavors and very nicely done. 4.Then our next dish was Red Mediterranean tuna with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, cucumber and puffed rice with seaweed. It was the best cooked tuna that I ever tried. It was so tender and melting on my tongue. 5. Next was perfectly cooked Duck with cherries. I absolutely loved duck, it was cooked to perfection!!! 6. Pre dessert strawberry basil puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare for the dessert. 7. Vanilla cheesecake with apricot and carrot sorbet with prune compote. 8. And complementary truffle selection from Chef to congratulate us with our anniversary. Absolutely best anniversary meal. I also loved that service here was very open and nice. It was my first Michelin star experience and I didn't felt any snobbism, like in other restaurants in Milan for example. Nice presentation, and all dishes were properly described in English for us which is additional plus since my husband doesn't speak Italian. Absolutely worth the trip!"
