"The Tartare Burger by La Fermata is the best burger in the world and of all time. Point. If you are pregnant and need to avoid raw meat, Smash is excellent. A hair below, but still excellent, the household hamburger. Cisunami is a senseless exaggeration to be ordered only for fun purposes. It's possible that the rest of the menu is valid, but every time I go in, I have a moral obligation to order the Tartare Burger. The chips should be taken normal (without grain and without splashes of truffle oil). Coleslaw only if you have strange feelings of guilt about fried foods. The service is ok. Some waiters are friendlier than others, but who cares because only the Tartare Burger matters."

Abbiamo mangiato i medaglioni di cervo, assaggiato il carpaccio di cervo al tartufo e per finire la torta di castagne fatta in casa.. tutto buonissimo.Le cameriere molto gentili, servizio veloce e il proprietario ci ha offerto caffé e digestivi.Anche se bisogna fare un po’, di strada per arrivarci ne vale sicuramente la pena. "Wie es so ist im Tessin mindestens einmal in ein schönes Grotto... Bei einer Fahrt mit dem Cabrio haben wir dieses entdeckt und für den Abend reserviert. Bei Ankunft war die Reservation irgendwie vergessen, man wollte uns als Paar an einen runden 6er Tisch setzten danach habe wir dann doch noch einen einigermaßen schönen Tisch bekommen. Als Beilagen gab es Kartoffeln, Risotto und Polenta auf der Karte. Beim Bestellen wurde uns dann mitgeteilt (wir waren sehr früh dort so gegen 8 Uhr und nur wenig Leute) das es weder Risotto noch Polenta mehr gibt Ausverkauft! Hallo? Das in einem Grotto? Nicht mal eine Erklärung dazu, oder das man mit Wartezeit auf ein Risotto warten kann, nichts! Gab es kein Reis mehr? Also ich verstehe das absolut nicht... Die Portion des bestellten Essens war klein, entsprechend schnell war das essen vorbei, der Service war solala. (Danach gingen wir nochmals essen, weil wir noch Hunger hatten.)Die Weinkacheln habe ich mit einem Aschenbecher verwechselt weil die Ränder abgeschlagen waren und die Glasur defekt war an x Stellen. Ein wirklich sehr enttäuschenden Besuch."

"Some really cool vegan options (also vegetarian ones) : Fajitas, Burger, Sushis, Indian curry, starters like Guacamole, Hummus, Edamame, Miso soup etc. Food was beautifully presented in the plates, and was super yummy. "The restaurant is strong, strong, strong, I swear to God, there is something amazing about the food, clean and the same cooking. They have amazing Indian food in its original form. I ordered it. 2 biryani, one masala, and a chicken curry with bread and 3 cola. My account is 160 francs, very expensive, but to be honest, there is no loss in the amount because it is something amazing. It has the food. The best Indian restaurant in all of Europe, and the view is beautiful. Its place is high in the mountain, with the lake beneath it"

"The pins (CHF 29.50) were really delicious and lots of them (photo pins for 3 people). The side dishes as well (I only ate potatoes but the other people with me told me that the polenta was very good). Average prices, really friendly staff, maybe just a little slow but there were only two waiters so I can understand."

"Wir waren als Familie dort und haben sehr gut gegessen. Leider war die Location zu dieser Jahreszeit etwas zu kühl. Wir sassen am Anfang mit Jacken am Tisch. Der grosse Kamin wurde angefeuert und im Laufe des Abends war es dann ok, jedoch nie so warm, dass man hätte sagen können „gemütlich“ .... schade. Die Bedingung war sehr nett, servierte jedoch auch in Jacke. Ich würde im Sommer sicher noch einmal wieder kommen. Der Blick von der Weinreben bedeckten Terrasse, über den See nach Lugano, ist wunderschön."

"Damals waren wir mindestens einmal in unseren Ferien in diesem Restaurant. Nun war ich vorläufig das letzte Mal dort. Die zwei Punkte rechtfertigen lediglich das zarte und leckere Fleisch. Wir bestellten Onion Rings - bekamen je vier kleine, lieblos angerichtete Ringe zum Preis von je 4 Fr. Dazu gab es nicht einmal einen Dip. Wenn schon Amerikanisch, dann richtig! Anschliessend haben wir Fleisch mit Country Frits bestellt (extra nachgefragt), jedoch eine mittelgrosse Ofenkartoffel mit sehr saurer Sauce bekommen. Da man die Beilage zusätzlich bezahlen muss, fand ich die Portion Kartoffel für 5Fr eine Frechheit. Das Personal hatte keinen guten Tag und als auf der Rechnung 7.50Fr für die fade Kartoffel verrechnet wurde, hat das uns echt enttäuscht (die ganze Situation). Wir haben das Personal freundlich darauf hingewiesen und mussten zuerst diskutieren, bis wir auf der Karte beweisen konnten, dass wie recht hatten. Echt mühsam, statt dass man kurz überlegt und selber nachschaut. Aber so ist es ja einfacher. Sehr schade, dass das Restaurant so abgenommen hat. Wir werden vorläufig nicht mehr kommen, da es in der Umgebung wirklich viele tolle Restaurants gibt. Und ein Steakhaus ist es auf keinen Fall. Bekannt ist und bleibt das Restaurant für ihre Pizzen."

We went with friends and tried the fondue chinoise, I must say that it is a very varied dish due to the various sauces and combinations that can be made, therefore promoted! You can reorder dishes such as rice and meat at will and there is the possibility of choosing, at the time of booking, the type of meat you will eat. With wine and water we paid 60 euros each, but we ate a lot. Very friendly staff and attentive to requests. I recommend it to you."

"I and my man chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 years high season day. we came from the usa and I can tell them that this place has not disappointed us. very beautiful location, near the lake and easy to find. we started the tasting menu of our...5 course cook from starters of the cook. it was mix of cheese in various variations deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho suppe. 1. our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, pfirsich and lemon sauce. it was absolutely lovely. 2.Then we had a creamy heaped pure and shaved with belèer knolle cheese. it was also one of my favorite dishes, because it was so creamy and i was a good supplement to this dish. also there were bona crumbs sweet to balance the pea pee. 3. Next paccheridi gragnano halves with oriental kalbs ragout. unfortunately this pasta was not my favorite. it was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick, uncooked pasta. we ask waiter and he confirmed that it should be. too much edgy overwhelmed the sose and it felt that they eat sneakers. but I absolutely loved calf rags, it was rich with aromen and very beautifully done. 4.Then our next plate was red medium sea thunfish with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, gurke and swollen rice with seaweed. it was the best boiled tuna I ever tried. it was so tender and melted on my back. 5. Next was perfectly boiled duck with cries. I absolutely loved the duck, it was cooked to perfection! 6. before dessert earthy basilikum puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare on dessert. 7. Vanilla cheesecake with apricose and carrot sorbet with plumencomplete. 8. and complementary truffle selection from the chef to congratulate us with our jubilee. absolutely best jubilee meal. I also loved this service here was very open and beautiful. it was my first Michelin star experience and I did not feel snobbism, as in other restaurants in mailand for example. beautiful presentation, and all dishes were properly described in English for us, which is additionally plus, as my man does not speak Italian. absolutely worth the trip!"

"Pizza soup or police My companion complained about the “4-Formaggie” because it tasted bitter, burnt and was also raw inside (picture). Any normal restaurant owner would apologize and ask if they could make a new pizza. Everything is different in this restaurant. The first thing he did was wave his cell phone around, show us pizza pictures from the internet and run away from the table in a huff. We sat there stupidly and didn't know what would happen next. After a few minutes the waiter came over again and pressed a cell phone with a German-speaking lady to my companion's ear. Another fruitless discussion took place. After I had finished my pizza, which by the way was undercooked but less burnt, we got up and wanted to pay at the cash register. There we met the spiteful owner again, who presented us with the full bill for both pizzas. Since we made it clear right away that we would only pay for a pizza, the discussion started again in front of the staff and guests. He talked himself into such a rage and gesticulated stupidly with his hands that even his “Pizza Award 2018”, which he pointed out to us, fell off the wall. His last joker was now; “I’ll call the police, they’ll be there in 2 minutes.” When we arrived after 5 minutes. When we asked where the police had gone, we discovered that he hadn't called them at all. He only did that now and shortly afterwards there was actually an officer in the bar. The innkeeper then talked his way out of it by saying that we didn't want to pay, whereupon we explained that that wasn't true and that we were only paying for what we had eaten. As usual, the officers first checked the personal details. Because of language problems, a second, third and fourth uniformed person was added. When we put the money on the counter for our consumption (without burnt pizza, of course), the situation relaxed and we were able to leave. The law enforcement officers were also quite irritated by the incident. On the way to the lake we laughed and scoffed at the origin of this ominous pizza award... Maybe it would be better to say at what temperature a pizza needs to be baked. Because of the many positive reviews, his relationship must be great. When we later told a local Ticino what we had experienced, it didn't surprise him at all and he told us that Ticino or Italians often stumble over their arrogance. The German-Swiss restorers are often much more successful in Ticino."

"The menu seems promising and the food was delicious, so the chef is to be recommended. Our waiter was also nice and welcoming, until someone else came around asking for the best bottle of wine or the most expensive one, diverting his attention. But ok, I get it. What I don 't get is how the restaurant 's owner, I presume (signore Matteo? , thinks it is fine to make a video call with his daughter in high volume, so that everyone around, including us, can hear her high pitch voice and their conversation, and also clearly see her on the phone if we happen to look at the entrance, where he was sitting. How disrespectful! Also, even though our card worked fine everywhere else in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and France (etc , here it mysteriously didn 't work and we had to pay in cash (funny, I also heard the waiter whispering to his boss that someone else had also payed in cash... Faulty credit card reader, a way to avoid taxes?.... I don 't know, but that 's rather bizarre when today 's technology and credit cards work so well... . Final bonus: we were completely bombarded by mosquitoes, which may be normal here by the lake, but maybe some candles or anti-mosquitoes electric devices would be advisable. "Together with a friend we stopped by to grab a quick pizza before going to the cinema immediately afterwards. I 'll start by saying that I 've already been there twice and so far I 've always had a good time. We ordered two pizzas and a water to drink, wanting to save it for later. We were the first customers, they had already placed a little something on the table for us to munch on which I appreciated and asked two different waiters if we didn 't also want an aperitif. They seemed surprised and a bit insistent but I told myself I was exaggerating. Upon returning from the bathroom, however, I pass by the waiters who were taking our order, and the man exclaims Do these people only drink water??? . Stunned, I turn and look at them offended. Following the dessert order which we always wanted to avoid to make room for the popcorn, I felt obliged to justify myself on the Cinema issue to the waitress and order an espresso, but I shouldn 't have. These things shouldn 't happen in restaurants! friendliness is the minimum! There 's no point in wishing me a good evening if you say anything to your customers behind your back. I 'm sorry but I think I won 't go there again, too bad."

"Der Parkplatz ist zu klein für grössere Autos. Kein Witz, es steht sogar ein entsprechendes Schild dort. Die Terrasse ist sehr eng bestuhlt, der Blick auf den Pool schrecklich. Dort liegen Menschen dicht an dicht auf den Sonnenliegen. Der Service im Restaurant war bemüht, aber ineffizient. Zu Pasta fragt man den Gast, ob er einen Löffel wünscht. Das wurde übersehen. Parmesan kam erst auf Nachfrage. Man teilt sich ein kleines Servierschälchen Parmesan mit allen anderen Gästen. Unglaublich, bei dem Preis von 30 CHF für die Pasta. Einzig das Kalbsfilet war sehr zart und schmeckte sehr gut."

"Spaziergang durch Lugano, Hunger kommt auf und das erst beste Lokal auf dem Platz wird angesteuert. Leider bewahrheiten sich die eher schlechten Bewertungen. Der Salat ist nicht mehr knackig, die Gnocchi verkocht der Mozzarella gummig, auf der Pizza liegen Dosen Pilze, die Carbonara schmeckt komisch kurzum das Essen ist wirklich schlecht. Dass dann auch noch ein Burger vergessen geht, passt ins Gesamtbild. Das Vorurteil, dass Restaurants auf Piazzas oft nicht gut sind, bewahrheitet sich leider wieder einmal."
