"Un piccolo ristorantino in una location di grande prestigio, come Ragusa Ibla, Patrimonio dell 'Umanità dell 'Unesco. Qui troverete con facilità una boutique per gourmand , il Monsu ' (dal francese Monsieur, traduzione d 'altri tempi: Signor Chef , e Salvo, marito di Heloise la padrona di Casa Monsu ' è un vero Signor Chef che coniuga la cucina tipica siciliana, a quella tradizionale francese, di gran classe. Salvo, (prossimo stellato , ne siamo certi , aggiunge la sua passione tipica siciliana, alla raffinatezza della cucina francese; risultato, un mix di specificità franco sicule , praticamente la migliore tradizione eno gastronomica siciliana, con la preziosità della cuisine , e i sapori delle eccellenze siciliane diventano piatti per veri gourmet. Volutamente non ve li descrivo per non togliervi la sorpresa, poichè tale sarà la vostra serata al Monsu ', ricca di raffinate sorprese ... Aggiungete l 'arredamento curato con molto allure da Heloise, (sorriso smagliante e un puro accento franco/brettone , ma un amore grande per la Sicilia , che vi accoglie con l 'Ospitalità tutta siciliana, (quella con la O maiuscola , e la vostra serata a Ragusa Ibla sarà indimenticabile. "cena per due: sistema di prenotazione tramite efficiente e veloce whatsapp, tuttavia sarebbe opportuno se ulteriori dettagli sono stati forniti sulla posizione del tavolo. arrivati sul posto in cui siamo stati allestiti su un tavolo nell'aspetto di un'emergenza, relegati ad un angolo della sala interna al piano superiore, tra le scale e la porta ocita della veranda dove gli altri tavoli sono stati disposti, tra l'altro molto bello e suggestivo. aria condizionata eccessiva che è arrivato direttamente sul tavolo. il menu è ben strutturato e invitante: abbiamo ordinato una linguina alla bisque di crostacei e bottarga, un raviolo alla ricotta e seppia nera con finocchio selvatico, e due polipoti croccanti con verdure. l'attesa, circa 35 minuti, non era accompagnata da pane o pane. Linguine, con ottima cucina, era caratterizzata da una bistecca troppo allungata, quasi brodosa e purtroppo non saporita. i ravioli invece erano molto gustosi e ben bilanciati, perfetto l'uso del finocchio selvatico che ha dato un extra trapuntato al piatto. ma una presentazione migliore. i due polipo sono stati fritti alla perfezione, secchi e croccanti. per rendere il piatto completo, si consiglia di mettere una salsa per renderlo più piacevole da mangiare. prezzo adatto per la qualità della materia prima. cucina generale eccellente ma alcuni dettagli per migliorare per rendere l'esperienza perfetta."

"I visited this place as it was recommended by locals, but a bit disappointed with service and beers available. I was expecting more local beer on draft and/or bottles but not that much. I had a very good local one, Spaceman and a terrible one Bown Bear , we tried some finger 's food and the one chosen was not available, then we went for traditional fries and a cheese that was very good. Service is tooooooooo slow, really, maybe it is cultural but 2 drinks took almost 10min with empty bar, just 2 tables including mine."

"This place was actually very close to our stay at Relais Villa del Monte, recommended, and greatly appreciated. Seemed filled with local families on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly reception, limited English, but we managed to get a lovely bottle of wine (imagine that lol) and fabulous Ragusan food. Sausage in a crispy pastry with sweet/sour onions, ravioli in pork sauce (chunky morsels of meat), rabbit stew, molten chocolate cake were all eagerly devoured before heading back to hotel in a food coma. The sign for the restaurant is immediately next to the driveway that looks like a drop off the cliff, but isnt, that leads to a large parking area. There is ample outdoor and indoor seating. If they were open on Monday we would have happily eaten here again!"

"Location curata e particolare, piatti belli da vedere e buoni da mangiare, qualità delle materie prime ottima con prodotti locali, menu alla carte con una sezione di mare e una sezione di terra, presenza, in aggiunta al menu di base, del primo e secondo del giorno. A mio giudizio i prezzi sono lievemente più bassi rispetto a quella che è la quantità e la qualità delle portate, quindi felicissimo. Per un disguido “di aspettativa personale” su una grigliata ci hanno offerto una frittura di pesce in aggiunta senza che lo chiedessimo. Servizio attento, cordiale, cortese ma soprattutto preparato (e di questi tempi è una rarità . Personalmente sono parco coi giudizi ma questo ristorante, di tutti quelli frequentati in questa estate 2021 italiana è l’unico che merita punteggio pieno, su tutti gli aspetti. Bravi."

"I went with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary, the location is intimate and romantic, as well as the atmosphere inside the club. the reception and the service were exceptional, really good the waiters, they pampered us and made us feel of the gentlemen. we immediately served water, two glasses of wine, bread and welcome of the chef. We ordered two appetizers, one of shrimps and a tartare, both to leave without words. Later, we took a first of pens lined with very good gragna and a curl that dissolved in the mouth. Finally, for dessert, we went on the millefoglie and on the cannolo: both exceptional, the real battle horses of the club, to try absolutely! in everything, choosing paper, we paid 136€, then 68€ per head."

"Ho avuto l'opportunità di visitare il bar gelateria Mastrociliegia e devo dire che sono rimasto molto soddisfatto della mia esperienza. Il caffè che ho consumato seduto ai loro tavoli sulla strada, con la possibilità di ammirare l'entrata dei bellissimi giardini iblei, è stato davvero eccellente. La qualità era altissima e il prezzo, considerato il contesto in cui lo si consumava, era decisamente competitivo. Ma il vero punto di forza del bar gelateria Mastrociliegia è senza dubbio il loro gelato. Ho assaggiato diverse gusti e devo dire che tutti erano davvero deliziosi. La crema era morbida e vellutata, mentre i gusti erano decisi e intensi. Non ho mai assaggiato un gelato così buono! Inoltre, il personale era molto cordiale e disponibile, pronto a soddisfare ogni mia esigenza. In conclusione, se siete in zona e avete voglia di gustare un ottimo caffè o di assaggiare del gelato di alta qualità, vi consiglio vivamente di fare un salto al bar gelateria Mastrociliegia. Non ve ne pentirete!"

It deserves few pics It is on a first flooor with a glass wall all the lenght of the restaurant From the glass wall you can see the Cattedrale di San Giovanni Battista (main church) and Via Roma below (the street where people stroll around in the evening) The kitchen is visible, on one end of the restaurant, so you see the staff preparing your food. I was not hungry so I had just a fish caponata (see the web for caponata , it 's to long to explain) and then a sword fish with salad They were both delicious Even the basket with bread was fine, there was a choice of small fresh local breads, including berad sticks. There is a rich list of wines, but I was in the mood for a beer so I picked a local lager one, very tasty and thick. All staff was very welcoming, professional and helpful I recommend it for a nice evening out in Ragusa."

Buoni dolci e prezzi. Come due anni fa. Siamo tornati a una donna confugata e abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante. un buon antipasto abbondante, dei ravioli di ricotta al pistacchio semplicemente fantastico, non tanto per la medicazione ma per i ravioli ripieni fino allo sproposito di ricotta delicata. porzioni più che generose e onesti prezzi"

"Three of the appetizers were tasty. The eggplant Parmesan was ok but small and not as cheesy as we like. Certainly not made with reggiano grana but the cheaper kind. The calamaretti alla Luciana could have tasted great had the strained tomato been from riper tomatoes and not dressed with dry herbs. The primo sale was grilled well, but it cooled very quickly. The caprese was definitely disappointing. Again, dried oregano thwarts the experience. Caprese requires fresh basil and and equal amounts of tomatoes and mozzarella. The tortelli were okay, but just like the spaghetti meatballs dressed in low quality passata sauce with the ever present dried oregano. The meatballs were tasteless. At the end of the meal, I walk away with a mouthful of dried oregano. We were hungry, so we ate everything, but I suppose this place caters to tourists with little or no knowledge of Italian cuisine. Such a pity. But expensive, and the overall poor quality makes one wonder why."

"We went in to eat dinner based on other reviews. It was nothing special. I don’t normally review foreign restaurants because our expectations on food quality and taste aren’t always the same. In this case I’m making an exception. The service was very slow. My husband ordered pork chops and I ordered a burger. He got a side dish of vegetables when my meal arrived. We waited to see if his chops were forthcoming and finally asked about them after a few minutes. 10 minutes later a plate showed up with ribs on it. He did say it was a decent taste even though still not the right dish. My burger had a lot of gristle in it. All in all, a disappointment. We’ve been in Italy for over a month and this was by far one of the worst meals."
