"This place was actually very close to our stay at Relais Villa del Monte, recommended, and greatly appreciated. Seemed filled with local families on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly reception, limited English, but we managed to get a lovely bottle of wine (imagine that lol) and fabulous Ragusan food. Sausage in a crispy pastry with sweet/sour onions, ravioli in pork sauce (chunky morsels of meat), rabbit stew, molten chocolate cake were all eagerly devoured before heading back to hotel in a food coma. The sign for the restaurant is immediately next to the driveway that looks like a drop off the cliff, but isnt, that leads to a large parking area. There is ample outdoor and indoor seating. If they were open on Monday we would have happily eaten here again!"

Large, popular and with a varied and wide ranging menu. Excellent service, great location, atmospheric building, easy parking, good vfm even if the wine list is on the steep side. Enjoyed it and would return.

I returned to this place after many years and it was a real pleasure to note that, when you want to work well, quality is maintained! great dishes, punctual and kind service, very good prices. I hope to find you like this at my next runaway in ragusa

Wow! This was probably the best dining out experience I can remember. Outstanding. Lovely range of local food, anti pasti cheeses, meats with honey lemon chutney, superb pasta phenomenal steak. Perfect Sicilian atmosphere. Perfect. Book early though as it is very popular. £85 for two with 4 courses wine

Recommended by our b&b and visited 3 times during the course of a week. About 10 minutes outside Ragusa Ibla and hidden away. Lovely courtyard setting and tables not crowded together. Loved the pizzas, the mixed grill and the mixed starter. Wine was by the bottle but not expensive. Staff efficient and helpful.

Had the Beef tartare to start it was excellent! The owner recommended the Dumplings (Ravioli) which we shared and again was excellent. We also had the Sicilian Beef Filet with tomatoes and ragusano cheese and the Pantesca pizza. Couldn’t finish the pizza as we were too full. Unfortunately no room for dessert but they looked excellent. Everything was reasonably priced. Highly recommend going here.

the place, not very simple to reach, immediately rewards for “the effort”. the location is lovely and the fantastic welcome. Courtesy and kindness are at home. A selection of nourished wines will satisfy “almost” every palate. Excellent meat seconds, regardless of the choice you will make. Three different courses, three different stitches, three identical conclusions: satisfied in the goto and in the quality. Great. Careful and impeccable service. Only neo, perhaps, the appetizer with the selection of meats and cheeses, which did not excite us. It should be said, however, that the products were all of undoubted quality. Good desserts. I count, all in all, in the norm. It's definitely worth i...
