"None of the reviews give a proper flavour of this place. Which is more of a dive than a restaurant, but a dive with lovely staff and a short but tasty menu on the basis of one dish!. It's a barcafé, not a restaurant, and...the staff were very helpful to this nonGerman speaking Brit, needed because the chalkboard menu is in German, not French despite the name. I played safe with steakfrites, which was a chunky piece of meat with a nice redwine sauce, with sauté potatoes rather than frites, with fresh spinach. Acceptable, not stunning, quality. At inc aperitif and couple glasses of local wine, decent value for money"

"Wow. Eindeutig mein neuer Lieblingschinese in Düsseldorf. Ich war gestern mit einer Freundin hier und bin absolut zufrieden wieder gegangen. Der Laden ist klein und eng bestuhlt, am Wochenende ist auf jeden Fall eine Reservierung erforderlich. Dementsprechend laut ist es auch, wobei sich das Publikum fast zur Hälfte aus Asiaten zusammensetzt. Spezialisiert hat man sich auf Dim Sum, wobei auch andere Gerichte angeboten werden. Die chinesischen Kleinigkeiten bieten natürlich die Möglichkeit, mal eine Vielzahl an Gerichten zu probieren. Wir hatten zu zweit 6 Dim Sums und alle waren sehr, sehr lecker. Die Auswahl ist riesig, es gibt bestimmt 80 verschiedene. Trotz der Fülle der Besucher kamen Essen und Getränke schnell an den Tisch, lediglich die 'Garnelennester ' wurden nachgeliefert. Die meisten Gerichte haben keine Soße, die man sich jedoch am Tisch aus Sojasoße, flying Goose und Konsorten in einer kleinen Schüssel selbst mixen kann. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und flott, am Ende waren wir pappsatt und haben inklusive 4 Weizenbier knapp 40€ bezahlt. Nicht nur tolles Essen sondern auch hervorragendes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Absolute Empfehlung."

"Nice location, friendly service, tasty house cooking, at excessive prices! Dear young Mr. Dauser, your grandfather and your father have a lot to do. Your marketing is very good, your restaurant is worth a visit or even more, but the prices are quite beyond the finish! I know the plate of pea soup for 2 marks, added, is 25 years ago. But today for 4 euros equal to 8 marks, that are 300% strike or 12% on average per year above the thumb). Who has such income increases? Except you, of course. "the good wolsaap has developed into my favourite restaurant. ede and his team make super work. both the service staff and the doll in the kitchen make a visit in the good wolfsaap every (!!) time to a great experience. the foods are very tasty (good-bourgeois, German cuisine) and extremely generous. soup, sour roast, carving, salat vanessa, hearty and sweet pancakes, barley dishes, goose at the time of goose; all tasted at a good time and consistently found for very good. but contempt: one should bring great hunger. the portions are huge! Price/quality ratio is totally.The service staff is also very friendly. when entering the restaurant you will be greeted by the host ede personally - if this does not run straight in the kitchen or in the camp. on Sundays and celebrations, when the restaurant is extremely well visited (table reserve of advantage!), the service ladies will surely return some kilometers while ede makes a super job as barmann. if it is very full, then sometimes you wait a little longer for eating. the quality then makes it up for again.Advantage for dog owners: four-legged can be in the restaurant!!! "The restaurant is adjacent to the hotel where I stayed, and it has a popular open-air section for sunny, warm days, reminiscent of a beer garden. The service was friendly and helpful, the beer was good and cold, but the meal I ordered was mediocre...at best. Beef roll (Rinderrouladen) is a very standard choice, but this tasted dry and flavorless. I would guess it had spent time in a freezer before being cooked. The gravy and dumplings that came with it were also just average."

"Somehow, we have only just discovered Simon's event though it is only a very short walk from where we have lived for twenty years. The menu is basically Italian and features all the standards, but there is also a very interesting weekly menu of specials such as game ravioli with sage butter and vegetables, and gurnard (Roter Knurrhahn) with sun dried tomatoes, capers, olives and spaghetti aglio olio. We especially like the "Klein aber fein" menu of small dishes which make an excellent tapas-style dinner. My top recommendation is the charcuterie and cheese platter: accompanied by a bottle of excellent Metzger Duett wine it makes an excellent light dinner."

"I must say first off- that this restaurant has a calming and relaxing atmosphere- it lays on the edge of the Rhein River away from the city's hustle and bustle- the portions of the food are big for German standards- I went with relatives to this restaurant- I ordered the fish plate- the fish was expertly fried - it reminded me of the way the Scandinavians saute their fish in fresh butter and herbs - I had 3 different fish - I know one was Salmon- it came with spinach and small fried potatoes on a separate plate- my cousin had noodles with a cream sauce- my husband had schnitzel with a mushroom cream sauce- he said it was excellent- tender- and well seasoned- it came with french fries and a crisp salad- my niece just wanted a latte- and she said it was delicious- we sat on the terrace with a gentle breeze- we were facing the Rhein River- and were able to see the skyline of the city and the bridges of the Rhein River- one called Theodore- Heuss- Bruecke-which is not far from the restaurant- our bill totaled Euros 58 - which was not a bad price for fresh- and a high quality food"

"We visited this restaurant following a recent weekend trip to Dusseldorf, We were staying at the Innside Derendorf which is only about mins walk away, We were a little apprehensive at first because it looks more of a pizza delivery outlet from the outside...but once inside we were greeted by a very welcoming and friendly waitress who sat us down in the very nice and compact restaurant, Plenty of choice on the menu with Starters, Salads, Pizza Pasta all at reasonable prices, The waitress spoke perfect english so no hiccups with menu translation, The restaurant was full and with the fairly close proximity of the other tables it made for a nice lively dining experience, Overall, Great service, Great food, Good wine! Highly recommended"

"Das Marli gleich neben dem La Cucina ist ein modern stylisches kleines Restaurant der gehobenen Küche mit schöner großer Terrasse.Die Küche ist ambitioniert und bietet deutsch Küche mit französischem Einschlag. Die Steaks für die man sich rühmt sind wirklich gut und werden mit reichlich Soße nach Wunsch und einem kleinen Beilagensortiment serviert. Der Service ist aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. Eine hervorragende Weinliste mit kenntnisreicher Empfehlung durch den Service machen das Konzept eines Restaurants der gehobenen Klasse rund. Schade ist, dass es nicht noch besser angenommen wird. Der Qualität nach hat das Marli mehr verdient. Allerdings könnten dafür die zumindest abends doch sehr ambitionierte Preisgestaltung eine Rolle spielen. Die Preise sind eher am oberen Ende der Scala, aber angesichts der guten Küche noch vertretbar."

"we celebrated our high time in the house litzbrück with about 65 guests.The agreements were pleasant, helpful and he went excellent on our performances and complemented them with beautiful ideas.We had a flying buffet for our guests up to our arrival, a tasty foreboth on the table and an excellent intercourse on the table and then a buffet and dessert buffet. For everyone, something was there and everything was in excellent quality.The wee were great and fitting and the children had the paradies on earth, as they got what they wanted.The booked hotel rooms were in order, a little came into the years, but well maintained and thus I don't pull off a point for this.Freakfast was in order, something more variants would have been nice.The service friendly and competent. everything was at great level without the chichi / cue sometimes occurring in other houses. honest, warm, professional.A very thick LOB!This will certainly not have been our last solemnity in the house litzbrück."

"Kumsujung is almost as good as being Seoul and, in my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Ratingen. I haven't been to Korean in several years, but I can't image the food has changed significantly. The restaurant doesn't have Korean BBQ, but that was never...my favorite anyway. Kimchi (chili pickled cabbage) is a requirement at any Korean meal, so be sure to start with this (don't worry, you can get a very small dish if you're nervous). I like the Soft Tofu Stew or Ox Bone Soup, but Bibimbap (rice, meat, vegetables and an egg on top) is not spicy and still very Korean. In fact, all the rice dishes are very good you really can't go wrong. Koreans have their own style of Sushi but, except for Gimbap (pickled vegetables, spinach, and ham), it's just a bit thicker and less sweet than Japanese Sushi (the rice is only seasoned with salt and sesame oil--no vinegar and sugar as in Japan). Kumsujung's Sashimi is also excellent and very generous. So, the Sushi is very good and well worth the expense. The dinner service can be slow, but it's a small, family run place and they are really doing their best to make you a nice meal, so be patient. As long as you order from the lunch menu, the lunch service is very speedy. Go there this weekend you'll love it!"
