"My wife, who is English, wanted to dine at this restaurant with her work clients, as it is conveniently located across the road from her office. Being Asian myself, I suggested that we order a takeaway on the weekend to try the food and see if it was any good. I called the restaurant and explained my background, requesting something authentic rather than the usual dishes they make for their English customers. I ordered a balti dish and naan bread, specifying that I wanted the balti to be more dry masala and less saucy, as we call it Khari. They assured me they would make it in a traditional manner. However, when I brought the food home, it was disappointing - the dish was overly saucy with very little meat, and did not resemble a balti/khari at all. I don't believe the people leaving reviews here truly understand what authentic Indian cuisine should taste like. I doubt my wife will choose this place for her clients in the future, as the food is overpriced and of poor quality. For a taste of real Indian cuisine, I suggest visiting Southall and dining where Indian people go."
