The Prince Regent - Menu

Short walk from the hotel, not too busy as it was a Sunday evening. Owner was very attentive and friendly. We ordered food and it was excellent and good value.

Last night I had a curry here with my friend, it was very good and fantastic value for money. The naan are particularly good, full of flavour and crispy, not too doughy. Will be returning.

Just had tandoori mixed grill what flavours salad was very delicious meat was cooked perfectly. Last night had biriarni this place needs to be in the good food guide on how food should be served. View menu

I could not fault the Sunday roast. The potatoes were particularly nice. Good sized portion and at a very good price for the local area. The pub is what you would call a proper pub, service is always spot on.

Naan bread was stodgy and dense. It seemee like it was perhaps not cooked in a tandoor oven? Maybe a tawa or cooled in an oven? The vindaloo was poor. Really lacking flavour and forgetful. When I first tried around 9 months ago the food was much better. Maybe an off day?

Waited over 40 mins before asking about our meal told it'll be another 20 mins before even popodoms would be ready. Such a shame. Really poor service, cancelled order. Eaten here previously and food has been great. Today was so very bad Pub was not busy no mention of wait. Such a shambles. Sadly would not recommend View menu

A good honest pub with a sporty feel but with good honest Indian food. Small mixed grill, fresh, tasty, hot and very generous. Masala chips had a good kick if slightly soggy chips (maybe touch too much sauce). Menu has been simplified a hit since last pre pandemic visit which is a good move. Samosas not so original. Definite good combo experience of a pub and an Indian meal so definitely offers something different in this area.

On Saturday lunchtime, 10 of us ordered a takeaway without high expectations the food was incredible by far the best Indian we have all had in a long time. The portions are very generous, the onion baji's are enormous, king prawn biriyani is delicious, chilli naan was a big hit (not with me! . Menu isn't huge which I think is a good thing everything they make is really well cooked. Surprisingly looking forward to our next family get together to order from there again.
