"After entering the restaurant, we were greeted and given water for the table. However, we then waited 20 minutes plus to even be seen again to take our order. We are a young couple and I did not feel as we were treated with the same regard as others whose appearance was older and wealthier. The restaurant was not busy and our waiter had only spoken with one table, the whole time. I understand the need to engage with customers but he disregarded the rest. I could see other customers getting frustrated with the speed of service. Once finally being seen, the waiter seemed annoyed and acted in a rude demeanour towards us, very blunt especially in comparison to the other guests he’d served. The “optional” service charge was not optional and was placed straight onto the total. Personally, I didn’t feel our waiter deserved it. Will not be coming again. Very disappointed in comparison to my past experiences here."

the food and the service here was brilliant. enjoyed calamari for beginners, then went for the sirloin steak for net, and lemon cake with ice for dessert. especially the ice was of the highest quality! not the cheapest places, but something else.

We have visited the restaurant half a dozen times in the past 2 years we have always received excellent service (Loti) and the food has been exceptional. One member of our group is Gluten Lactose intolerant and Loti is very knowledgeable on the alternatives.

I was here with a group of 7 people looking for a good Italian and alcohol. to the latter part it was good, but the food sucked. we had ordered garlic bread, primavera pizza, spaghetti, aubergine parmigiana and ricota ravioli. everything except aubergine parmigiana was bad in taste. not recommended

so a beautiful place, amazingly fresh and tasty eating, beautiful atmosphere and made it so easy with the children. first they chose to eat so they were busy. I have chosen a little hard dessert for my man's birthday. would definitely recommend. prices higher than average, but we had such a good time, made it worth it.

We had a large table for eight. Burrata appetizer was nice (but expensive! , the burrata should have been more creamy really therefore not the best quality (for the price . Main of LINGUINE AI GAMBERI was OK lots of linguine, cooked well, on large prawn but very few other prawns. Service was good. Rather noisy as quite a cavernous room.

the Italian restaurant bar in the alternate square on the back of the liverpool street has a seating area and a steh area if you want to venture for a drink only. have eaten here a few times, I had the risotto and pizza and both were delicious and plentiful. average price for a decent italian in the city. tip: join individual and sometimes get money from their bill.

If you like suits, you'll be fine. local office workers often this joint with young and geese flirt a storm, starting bureauromanticies. I was on heddon street, and the lower cocktail bar is lush with its opulent and stylish interieur! this side feels really more like a whole bar. very bland and basically in design, but then this is essentially what the drinkers also carry. I was there by chance when a friend just got to gm. I shouldn't really go wrong, but if I can't be honest, what is the point, write a review. the drinks and cocktails are in order, oriented to bingo speed drinker, in contrast to those who take the time to a real decent...more

it's a no for me the place was a little suspicious as it was completely empty on a Friday night. but since we were a big group without reservation, we tried because we knew it would have been impossible to find a table elsewhere that eating is not Italian as they do. we received a cotoletta with pasta as side. I think every Italian would commit suicide after he had seen something like that. also the pizza was too crispy. someone took a pasta with garnel and they were so pale. someone ordered a carbonara and received pasta with a whole egg on the top and some speck. when I saw it, I wanted to cry also the service was too long, although the place was empty would not go...read more

Despite having been out in the various bars in Exchange Square I'd never ventured in Piccolino's and I have been missing out Our waitress for the evening could not have been friendlier or more helpful. When she found out it was my birthday she even put a candle in my pudding for me. The food was also very tasty they have a very wide menu: pizza, pasta, steak, chicken, lamb and even veal. Whatever you are in the mood for they'll have something for you. I was in an Italian mood the last time that I went so ordered bruschetta to start and Risotto. Both were delicious! Nice mix of seafood in the risotto so it the rice didn't overpower you the way it can sometimes and there was lovely...read more
