"Zuletzt als kleiner Junge mit den Eltern war ich nun mit eben diesen endlich wieder einmal in diesem Restaurant nach locker 40 Jahren. Auf dem Parkplatz angekommen war ich zunächst skeptisch, alles wirkt etwas unaufgeräumt draußen am Haus und fast schon ungepflegt , was den Bewuchs der Aussengastronomie angeht. Innen jedoch ist es urgemütlich stilvoll alt so hatte ich es in Erinnerung. Der Weg zu den WC Anlagen ist ein wenig glitschig, die Anlagen selbst nicht mehr so ganz neu . Insbesondere die Toilettenkabinen sind extrem klein eng, was für Ältere Eingeschränkte schwierig sein dürfte. ABER: die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das persönliche Erscheinen des Chefs Kochs an jedem Tisch UND NATÜRLICH die äußerst großen Portionen sehr, sehr leckeren Essens haben voll überzeugt alles Andere abgeschwächt. Riesige Schnitzel aus der Pfanne, ein super Hirsch Steak, Pfifferlinge etc was soll ich sagen der Hammer 6 Sterne für dieses tolle Essen an einem schönen Sommerabend im schattigen und kühlen Aussenbereich : vielen lieben Dank an das herzliche Personal Dank in die Küche !!! Da kommtman gern wieder reservieren vorher ! . Quasi nebenbei kommt man mit der Frühgeschichte meiner Heimat in Berührung Steinkistengrab ! Lesenswerte Früh Geschichte !"

"Yesterday we were to eat in the restaurant. we ordered drinks, got the menu cards served. a few minutes later the waiter came and asked if we had chosen something. I carved with bratkartoffels and vegetables, my wife steak with pommes. while the waiter described the orders, my wife said to him, she would like the steak medium. he did not hear that because he had already turned to other guests who just came in. we would be ignorant-special wishes? is not a wish concert...It came quick to eat. it was something like suppe from purse kartoffels and boils. I guess everything is ready for part. the steak of my wife was ok, but more but not, the crimped butter somehow tasted like curry. between the pommes were also individual pieces of kartoffel, which were already old and dark brown. my carving was also ok, the bratkartoffeln too. the sweet was out of the deep-cooled chest, the sauce hollondaise from the bag. as a dessert and at the same time crowning the day was a klacks chocolate pudding and something looked on it...For that the price but per dish was 10.30€. I therefore do not understand the general enthusiasm and also the great reviews. we definitely don't go there anymore."

I come here often. the burgers are all unique, sour and super tasty. the kartoffel pommes are the most delicious I have ever eaten and the sweet potato pommes are also not to be despised.Unfortunately, it is a bit expensive, so I can't always give it to myself, but it's worth it in any case.In per se, it's often full and therefore a happy to find a place. in summer there are still other seating options outside, but in winter it will be narrow, but you can also take everything home! "we have been here and now several times and find (still) the concept good to guide a restaurant /bistro with bio means of life, which must be quietly something different (but it must not be that behind the counter of the cake on the cake plate with fingering in position; please use a torth lifter if customers can see this).If we forget about the last time on the basis of many visitors, we were overlooked today by far less operation. we had to pick ourselves up a young lady with many excuses our order.The breakfast with hearty cut (= 1 slice sink, 2 small slices salami) for 8.50€ is already pricey limit value, because it helps on a bit vanilla yogurt, a few leaves salat or the cleckse fresh cheese and jam. a drink is not there.All of this I would have taken if there were not a dry old one (at least from the previous day) in the two rolls. This is no longer acceptable, beautiful ambiente, organic quality. so let us summarize: It will clearly work out the people who had a good idea, but have no professionalism in the service. the employees are overwhelmed with simple tasks, perhaps you should adjust learned forces to adequately maintain and dispense with pupils. the prices would probably make it and do well to the image; - from an alternative restaurant I also expect fair payment for professionals.I like to pay more for what I had to experience repeatedly there, but not.The visit has deeply spoiled us.The only reason that is not to be judged with insufficient is the ambiente and the idea itself.I hope you are going to the problem now."

"This is an old, very traditional German restaurant. They have served food there for generations and take their job very seriously. They also run a hotel business. The rooms are neat and clean, the beds comfortable - no frills. Very nice. The food is good, the service friendly. Perhaps not the best place to eat in Soest (Die Zwiebel and particularly Das Pilgrimhaus are way better) but you won't be disappointed. I stayed there for a week last year and also ate there. The owner and his personnel are all very pleasant. Their internet was not the most reliable."

"Knapp 40 Minuten auf unsere Bestellung im ! Restaurant gewartet. Die Eiswürfel in der Cola sind schon geschmolzen und diese schmeckt dementsprechend auch abgestanden. Die Angestellen wirkten alle sehr überfordert auf Nachfrage, wann die Bestellung denn fertig sei, kam nur ein Achselzucken oder ein genervtes Ja, gleich. Trotz der langen Wartezeit wurde auch noch ein Teil der Bestellung mal wieder vergessen, weswegen man dann nochmal weitere 10 Minuten warten musste."
