"I normally have dinner here, with my daughters, family or friends. The service and food are normally really good, hence I keep returning. However today, I went for lunch. Disaster. None of the normal staff. It was like it’s changed hands. Was with a friend who also comes here. Well we ordered 2 Tomato garlic pizza breads. Starters. Normally loaded with tomato sauce on top and and plenty of garlic. Today was really skimpy. Circular swirls of tomato sauce and garlic just in the middle. That was the second noticeable change. Third noticeable change. Milanese Pollo. And King Prawn 2 mains. Well the chicken Milanese was half the size and the pasta Napoli, was so hot and smelt of Brown Sauce. The Napoli sauce was off. And warmed in a microwave. As there is no way you can make fresh pasta that hot and it could burn your tongue. My colleague had King Prawns. The mixed veg, looked like it came from a tin. We really were surprised. We questioned a member of staff, if it had changed hands? They said no. Then I questioned and asked for the chef to taste the pasta Napoli. The waiter said, would you like him to make you another one. Which gave me the answer I didn’t want. We just got the bill and left. Sad to say. You have lost some customers. We would never have guessed a place we go to regularly. Has got that bad. Definitely not going back."

"We recently moved nearby and have visited this restaurant a few times for enjoyable meals. For Christmas, we decided to try their Christmas Dinner, which was advertised on their festive menu online. Despite booking well in advance, we were seated at a busy and poorly located table. Sadly, there was nothing festive on the table or in the atmosphere, and the staff did not acknowledge the holiday season. When we mentioned we had booked for the festive menu, the server informed us that it was not available on Sundays, even though it was advertised online and we had specifically requested it when booking. After some confusion, we were only given one festive menu for the four of us. The food turned out to be bland and tasteless, with small portions and no festive touches like crackers. Our past experiences at this restaurant were positive, but this Christmas Dinner was disappointing. We had a much better experience at another restaurant for Christmas in the past, so it's possible to have a great holiday meal out. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for a festive family outing."

"Stumbled upon this pub after taking a wrong turn on a family walk.Thought we would have a quick drink get our bearings and get on o our planned destination for lunch.No need the initial welcome was great full of smiles enthusiasm. Really clean well presented, so we decided to settle in. Plenty of choice for both food and drink, we struggled to prise the kids out of the place. What really made it was the warmth and enthusiasm of the team there.We all know hospitality has had it rough lately, but I’m tired of hearing operators moaning whilst not putting the effort in.Aaron your ladies were great today hats off to you all."

"Unfortunately our experience here did not live up to expectations. The food was disappointing underdone pizza and questionable vegan burger that my mum couldn’t finish. Drinks were ok but nothing special and atmosphere completely dead on a Saturday night. Waiter was friendly and service was quick but we wouldn’t return for food as there are plenty better establishments nearby that you could better spend your money. Would probably return for a drink but I would recommend the Treehouse or one of the many pubs nearby for a superior cocktail."

"This was an absolutely fantastic dining experience. The team here are very attentive and courteous. Pride in the food and taste is paramount to them and as such the service reflects in the fantastic standard of food. The chicken Jalfrezi I had accompanied by a keema Nan was absolutely superb! Great flavour with the after glow from spice but not too hot. A fragranced dish that leaves a very pleasing taste to the pallet. My Wife opted for the king prawn massallam which was a creamy style sauce with a slight spice, not hot but just enough for those that like a little bite….. tandoori roti was perfect. The Saag Aloo was also fantastic with great flavouring. Sometimes this can be bland but not here! Overall this was a fantastic dining experience and we are very pleased we found it using reviews just like this. I assure you, you will not be disappointed here…. Thank you to the team and the fantastic chef!"

"I have always enjoyed the food here, however on this occasion I am horrified and appalled at not only what was served to me but also the customer service. I had concerns about the meat within the prawn toast, which is usually a white colour,...however on this occasion as I felt the meat tasted different I looked inside to find the prawn filling to be grey. I called up the restaurant to express my concerns as I was understandably worried about what I had consumed, to be told I was incorrect about the grey colour without the restaurant having even picked up the food for examination yet. Once the driver picked up the prawn toast I proceeded to call the restaurant to ask if they knew what the grey meat was, at this point I was told it was chicken, to which I immediately distressed as I am a pescatarian and the menu description denotes prawn as the sole ingredient. Once I informed her of this she then laughed and replied ‘oh no there is no chicken don’t worry’. I continued to ask what it was, with no response provided other than ‘that is how prawn toast is’, which I will categorically attest to having had prawn toast a number of times in my life. She hysterically laughed at me and as continued to express concern she hung up on me. I am disgusted at how anyone can be so belittling and rude, especially someone who is in the hospitality field and to such a long term customer. There was absolutely no concern as to what the strange meat was or my well-being as a customer. I cannot believe I was laughed at hysterically for voicing what would be a normal concern to anyone if they saw grey coloured meat was in the prawn toast! Not only do they need to look into their food safety but they should definitely consider retraining their staff and teaching them manners and human decency."

"for the first time here, got a recommendation on facebook. the parking lot is large and easy to park. we're out for restrictions. there are 2 areas to sit outside. there are tables in front of the pub, which suffer easily from street noise. the other alternative is the covered area around the back. here you will find chairs and tables that are easy to quirky. there are a few heatings on the wall that are beautiful in cold weather. the service was very fast, efficient and friendly. the menu is pretty good old-fashioned pub grub, and is very expensive. a very welcome change to some of the most expensive places around them. eating was really good quality, hot and came fast. the deserts were just as beautiful and delicious. a good selection of beer, apple wines and weeping were in offer. very impressed and in any case again."

"Extremely disappointed with the food here, we should have guessed when we were the only ones eating. Starters were fine but then it was only cheesy nachos. My chilli was okay but my partner ordered Jerk Chicken, what he got was 3 massive lumps of chicken in a sauce that was okay and rice with no beans. The chicken he said was like cardboard, he took it home, washed the sauce off and gave it to the dog. Not recommended. The staff were very attentive though."

"I had a very disappointing experience with the service. I placed an online order, but when the food arrived, one of the main courses was missing. When I called to inquire about it, I was told that we hadn't ordered it, despite having the online receipt that confirmed we did order it and were charged for it. They then offered to send out the missing dish in 20-30 minutes, which at least gave me a laugh. Eventually, they said they would process a refund for the missing item, but there was no apology for the ruined dinner experience. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but it's important to acknowledge them and offer some form of compensation."

"I ordered from their app and was surprised when our food arrived in just 20 minutes, even though the estimated wait time was 40-50 minutes. The food was still piping hot and tasted as fresh as if it had been cooked in my own kitchen. In addition to the delicious dishes, we also received 2 complimentary popadoms, Raita, and onion salad, which was a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, as it has now become my new favorite spot for Indian cuisine."

"I ordered from Peppers and my food arrived on time as promised. It was the spiciest food I've ever had delivered. I usually get tired of lukewarm deliveries, so this was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious, although the sauce in my lamb madras could have been a bit thicker. The meal came with the usual complimentary extras like poppadoms, raita, mango chutney, and onion salad, which were better quality than other Indian restaurants. They didn't taste cheap. I would definitely order from Peppers again."

"Lovely service, BUT some of the worst food I've eaten for a long time. "We saw this nice looking coffee shop and decided to pop in for a quick drink. There was a queue which was fine but when were served, our requests and presence just seemed like too much trouble for the staff behind the counter. I asked...if we could have cream in our coffee instead of milk and they replied with a curt we don't have cream'. Instead, we ordered water and a cup of tea and then the staff member complained about where we'd chosen to sit because we weren't buying food. I offered to move to the breakfast bar side of the cafe but there was no acknowledgement or appreciation. When it was time to pay, I presented my card to find that card payments are a minimum of We could not have been made to feel more unwelcome so we cancelled the order and left. Maybe the coffee, tea and food is great. We didn't get to find out!"

"this place certainly has the WOW factor! we went here to celebrate my mother's birthday and we were blown away from her ambiente. my friends went three times after try thai and they recommended us this place too right. service is excellent and the dimming lighting ensures a beautiful atmosphere. After I was many paintings in Thailand, I can confidently say that the dishes near the real deal. the Thai dishes of the holy basilikum are delicious and (maybe too fiery). the egg frying (and its smell! has really reminded me of my times in bangkok. if they want a nice evening, that is the place to go!"

"I’d given it zero star if there was an option. Not only the food was not authentic, the service was appalling. We spent just under £200 on dinner this evening (two mums with four young children) and we barely touched any of our food. We asked if there was vinegar added in the yaki udon, one lady said yes as it was the ‘special’ recipe from the house chef and when I asked again before leaving another lady said no they used 100% of tonkatsu sauce. I pointed out that we didn’t touch the udon after the first bite as it tasted almost off since it was way too sour and even though I’m not Japanese we’ve been to Japan many times and never had tonkatsu sauce in any yaki udon. The lady was adamant that they never had any complaint from their customers so I suggested perhaps it would be worthwhile going forward stating that their yaki udon contains tonkatsu sauce to avoid any confusion. Instead of being apologetic as most restaurants would, the lady went on arguing that ‘even’ their Chinese customers never complained. I thought it was a Japanese restaurant so why would I want opinions from any Chinese customers? We then realised that the owner and waiting staff were Chinese and the fact that they didn’t even ask why we didn’t eat most of the food goes to show the kind of customer service they provide."
