"This was an absolutely fantastic dining experience. The team here are very attentive and courteous. Pride in the food and taste is paramount to them and as such the service reflects in the fantastic standard of food. The chicken Jalfrezi I had accompanied by a keema Nan was absolutely superb! Great flavour with the after glow from spice but not too hot. A fragranced dish that leaves a very pleasing taste to the pallet. My Wife opted for the king prawn massallam which was a creamy style sauce with a slight spice, not hot but just enough for those that like a little bite….. tandoori roti was perfect. The Saag Aloo was also fantastic with great flavouring. Sometimes this can be bland but not here! Overall this was a fantastic dining experience and we are very pleased we found it using reviews just like this. I assure you, you will not be disappointed here…. Thank you to the team and the fantastic chef!"

The best Indian restaurant around. We have had numerous meals here and the food is always excellent. Recommend the tandoori chicken and king prawn masala. The service is equally as good which is important!

Probably one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in a long long time. Great choice if you like to come away from the norm, so so tasty and the staff were welcoming polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and attentive to everything we needed. Wished we lived closer!

I've been wanting to try new Indian restaurants for some time so chose Basmati with friends. I always over order and like to try a mixtures of different dishes to share and asked for something that was not on the menu but was more than happy to make it. We all enjoyed our meals and the staff was great. I wouldn't rush back but I would come back! Well worth a visit. View menu

Our friends had been here before and rated it, so we were keen to see if it was good, with quite a lot of local competition evident in the Old Town. We were not disappointed, the decor is contemporary and the staff polite and attentive, without being overly so. The staff member who took my phone orders was pleasant, friendly, and got my order right the first time. The food arrived before the expected delivery time, and the delivery guys were polite. The packaging was clean and neat with the restaurant's name on it. The food was outstanding, with succulent meat and fresh, tasty ingredients.
