"Excellent food. However, the short frog looking waiter was extremely racist. I went to dine at this restaurant last night with 4 friends. We are not from the area and had to travel over an hour to get to this restaurant. When we arrived, there...was no social distancing in place. The restaurant was cramped and it was rather busy with diners sitting very close to each other. The waiter took forever to serve us and we completely understood why due to short staffed. My friends and I were talking in our language. The waiter that served us were extremly polite and took our order. At the end of our meal, we asked another waiter for desserts. He said we were too busy talking in our language and then mimicked an impression of what we were sounding like. We didn't much notice and we didn't say much at this point. Then when the bill came, the waiter walked passed us mimicking how we were sounding like. Then one of friends asked him if he had an issue with us. He said he was singing. As this point the restaurant noise level went quiet. One old white man turned around and shouted why don't you go home We all know what this comment meant. In the end of all of this we were made to be the issue by both the restaurant staff and the public. I"

came with my family and as always eating was absolutely delicious. everything was delicious, would definitely recommend the penang curry. the staff was friendly and attentive. would definitely praise.

Went for a meal with friends, the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The food is fantastic especially the weeping tiger duck in tamarind sauce. We eat out at .any places but this is definitely the best Thai restaurant in the area.

the food served was delicious as normal and the waiters were very attentive. they do not serve Thai table cakes in their lunch menu as part of the mixed starter, which is disappointing. this is very popular Thai food and can only think the reason...being is because they know that customers are willing to pay extra for what we did at the end as I believed for them. sad I don't go back to lunch.

Went for dinner with friends just before lockdown 2, the service we received from the waiter here was awful, don’t have words to explain it. We were talking in our own language and he kept walking past, ridiculing us. Staff need to learn to respect...people of all colour. If you thought racism didn’t exist then think again when you visit this restaurant. Save your dining experience and go somewhere where you’ll get some respect. Definitely NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

we have been going to sukanaya for a few years since a family member is close. eating was getting worse and last but bad. I ordered a beef massaman. typically a rich, dark and relatiw dry curry. what arrived was beige., watery and had the thin cut bark that is slightly jerky as they would expect from a cheap Chinese takeaway. it was nothing like a Thai food. other members of the group were equally impressing with their eating. sad to say, but we will not go back. for the price it is simply not good enough.

I returned to Sukanya after having a enjoyable meal last week. However on this occasion, my friends and I came across a situation which my father would have to deal with in the 80s. Unfortunately racism still exist. We were minding up on business and...were speaking in our own language when one of the waiter decided to mock the way we spoke. Our initial reaction was that we were utterly shocked with disbelief. The way to continue to my cars and only stop when I raise my voice.The waiter denied mocking us and we decide to pay the bill and leave this place clearly has no respect for brown or black customers dining in the restaurant.
