"Wow, what an experience! This was probably one of the worse meals I have ever had the miss fortune to try and eat! Firstly, I would like to say, yes, great value for money meal deals and yes, the front of house staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, you have to be able to eat the food. This was our Christmas celebration with my mum and complete ruined. The food served was completely uneatable. Two of the meals were vegetarian and we were looking forward to what were ordered. The starters were so greasy we could hardly eat them… so we thought try the mains…. Oh, what a mistake! The chef had put a whole raw chopped chillie in both our meals. I like a curry like most people but in pasta! Seriously, I almost cried and chocked on how hot the raw chillies were. I tired to take out as many as I could but seriously it was uneatable. We explained the situation to our waitress and I asked if the chef could try the chillies…. She came back and we were told… “yes, the chillies are very hot”…. In the meantime I had to go and order at the bar some chips just to have something to eat! Yes, we were offered a pudding (but I had already paid for that at the bar). I didn’t really want a pudding, we just wanted something decent to eat…. We had a free pot of tea on the house.. In addition to having one of the worse meals I have ever tasted, the chef…. Wow… I am sure the inspectors would have a field day looking at the standards of who is cooking your food. The chef walked out into the restaurant area and I was a little shocked. Not only did he look like he hadn’t seen a shower in months, (sorry, not sure I should say that) and the clothes he was wearing were discussing! The service had only just started, seriously…. Please have some just basic standards. Hygiene……. I didn’t want to creat a fuss and yes, I should have at the time… but paying for two meals we couldn’t eat and being offered a pudding that I had already paid for and then just given a pot of tea on the house… seriously …. The first port of call when a customs is given a complete uneable meal is… can we get you a different main…. No, that didn’t happen, then the secondly option is, the meal that you couldn’t eat is on the house and please goto the bar for a full refund… no… Really, really disappointed with the whole day which was completely ruined …. I understand sometimes things go wrong, however, it is how you correct the problem that stays in peoples minds…. Seriously, rubbish."
