"Amazing breakfasts, lunches, iced lattes, ice cream, delicious cakes and quiche, all home made and delicious Have been a weekly regular for a number of years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Service is next to none and the only place I know that is meticulous when it comes to cleanliness and covid measures. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed. The reviewer who gave a poor review obviously got out of bed on the wrong side, totally unnecessary and very sad to see….."

Our cycling group pop in to Charlie's quite often during our bike ride on a Sunday morning for coffee and cake.

Charlie made the most amazing 21st birthday cake for our daughter. She said it was the best cake she’s ever had and she’s had a few !

Firstly it's a super cute place oozing shabby chic which I adore, and the staff are lovely but as well as this the food was lovely , cake was yummy and the hot chocolate is the best....definitely recommend......

Such a surprise to have found Charlie's Wheathampstead. The food was simply delicious and nothing was too much trouble to ensure my vegan daughter was happy. Presentation, quality and cleanliness was top class. Can't praise this family-run restaurant highly enough. View menu

My husband and I enjoyed one of the best coffee’s we have ever tasted! Will be our ‘go to’ now for all weekend treats!! Staff are so helpful and super friendly. You are made to feel very safe too in these times of worry with Covid. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to try breakfast!

Was a lovely afternoon treat boating Charlie’s. Lovely atmosphere, the food was yummy and tea was very nice (and strong! Love strong tea! obviously less strong is available! They have a really good selection of vegan/non diary alternatives which is super!! Space to sit indoors or outside as well as takeaway, which seemed to be very busy too. Definitely a good sign. Will definitely be back. The team there were lovely and friendly too thank you xx
