"I had previously booked this restaurant and had enjoyed lovely food and service, but unfortunately my return visit did not meet expectations. We were seated in a corner next to the toilet, with a dirty radiator underneath a foil-covered ceiling and 'crispy' napkins. Despite these warning signs, we decided to stay due to previous positive experiences. However, we were served flat fizzy drinks and overcharged, even after pointing out that the drinks were flat. The food was good, with tasty and hot dishes served in small portions, which worked well for a buffet-style restaurant. The service, on the other hand, was overly efficient and demanding. We were told multiple times to 'eat all' of our food, and even had to transfer uneaten items to our next course. We were also limited in our menu choices, with no crispy beef available and no dessert option. This experience was disappointing and we will not be returning. We should have left when we first noticed the flat drinks and gone to our usual spot, Mr Wings. It's a shame, as we had previously enjoyed dining here. Overall, it was not a pleasant or enjoyable evening, but rather one to remember for the wrong reasons. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a friendly family-run buffet restaurant."

"The Needham Mob took lunch here during the week and first impressions were not good. Distinct lack of staff and many people at tables clearly waiting for food. One has to to order own drinks and collect from the bar and after 40 minutes no menus received we had to go to the bar to ask and wait another 10 minutes for them to arrive. To order more drinks again up to the bar and often no one was behind the bar serving. Had to ask for orders to be taken. A couple on an adjacent table had clearly had the same experience and walked out. We persevered. Eventually orders were taken and it was along wait for starters to arrive. Another long wait for mains. The food was good although one member of the party had the fish cakes and commented they were tasteless. Had to ask and wait for the bill and then again to the bar to pay. It was not an enjoyable lunch time and as this review is titled seemed just one level up from self service. Suggest the establishment employs more staff as they clearly lost custom on the day by people walking out."

"I ordered for takeout as I live 3 minutes up the road for collection, it took just over an hour could have been less waiting time if I'm honest. I don't want to come across rude at all as your staff were lovely when I came in to collect my food, just thought you would like a review for feedback that's all. I got all the food I ordered which was brilliant but my chips were hard and very brown, way too crunchy and my garlic nann bread was already cold and had no flavour to it unfortunately, my potatoe and spinach was quite over done and a little salty but the chicken korma and rice was probably the best thing I ordered. It was okay price for the things I ordered but not really for the time I waited or quality of half my food. I have ordered from here before years ago and it was lovely but seems different. If order was quicker I would possibly buy again hoping it might be different. Thank you"

"I love the coach and horses and never had a bad meal until the mother's day this year was my choice for my special day we all had a fry and although I like al dente I liked. do not like them so hard that they taste as if they have just come out of the floor and the cauliflower cheese consisted on a tiny flour every. my daughter prefers eating and ended with nothing on her teller, she said that the meat is tasteless and the extra bratkartoffeln never came. Promise from the waitress of the manager come to chat never materialized even tho' the great hast was over when we came to pay. the gesture to take our bill was appreciated, but I would have preferred it and had a beautiful Mother's Day meal. bad form coach and horses, definitiw not up to their normal standard."

"An absolutely amazing venue. I had my baby shower here recently and the hosting was exceptional! Nothing was too much, they decorated, provided amazing catering (the food was incredible! , they just made the whole experience amazing. They unexpectedly took ALL the pressure off and handled everything. Super friendly and kind, I felt like I 'd known them for ages despite it being my first time meeting them all. I cannot say enough about this amazing place and the amazing staff. The beer garden is beautiful, the decor is stunning... the atmosphere is gorgeous, it 's ideal for any and every occasion from an afternoon beer in the sun to a Sunday roast by the cosy fire (or a special occasion . What a hidden gem. Will definitely be regulars from now on, and everyone who came to my shower (they aren 't local have asked we come back after the baby is born. There wasn 't a thing that we weren 't all impressed with, you must pop in and try the food, heavenly! (They provided us vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and alcohol free things, and there 's plenty of choice! Very budget friendly . Really easy going, any questions just drop them a message! Vegetarian options: Amazing. Home made, so good that the meat eaters ended up eating the veggie and vegan options! There was also plenty of options available and not just pasta or pizza like a lot of places Dietary restrictions: Gluten intolerance catered for at the drop of a hst, again, no issue here and wasn 't limited in what they could eat Parking: Parking is easy, large area clearly sign posted, there is a stony car park at the back and a large field area attached to it. There were well over 20 vehicles when we were there and still plenty of room Kid-friendliness: Cinema room and popcorn offered for our children whilst we had a private function however, the kids were more than happy playing in the magic garden whilst being waited on by the staff Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot"

"Happened upon this delightful Inn when out for a walk with friends. Haven 't been to the area before and don 't usually have a Sunday lunch, but was tempted by the friendly atmosphere and quiet ambiance of the place. The four of decided lunch it would be and two vegetarian option, a roast beef and a pork later and we were all stuffed and surprised at the quality. "A real home cooked Sunday roast '. "This charming old pub has been a favorite spot for us for many years, but it seems like there may have been a change in ownership. The staff were friendly and the beer was excellent, but we were both shocked by the state of the toilets. After seeing how unclean they were, we decided we couldn't risk eating there. The lack of hygiene in both the men's and women's bathrooms was unacceptable, and if the same standards applied in the kitchen, it would be a serious health concern. It's disappointing to see such a lack of basic cleanliness in an establishment that serves food to the public. We have decided not to return."

"Complete contrast to last year, which was excellent. A complete waste of £110 for our two meals. The obvious staff shortage was understandable during the current crisis and we're grateful for those that were there. However, we waited over an hour for our main course after finishing starter, 3/4 hour for dessert. The quality of the food was abysmal. Toast not toasted, cold turkey, indifferent vegetables. Poor, barely roasted potatoes. The bacon on the pigs in blankets was practically raw. The Christmas pud was cheap and unpleasant; cheesecake with a thick biscuit base and tasteless. I asked to speak to the manager afterwards to no avail, subsequent telephone calls to the pub to discuss my complaints with the management have not been responded to. We're very upset and disappointed."

"with the family, including the grandchildren. welcome, eating was excellent. we had dinners and then main course, because we had enjoyed it so much, we decided to start eating more instead of dessert. the seabass was to die, skalopps and garnel, mmmmm....The children from 2 to 10 ate everything and cannot wait to go back. service was friendly and extremely efficient. "I was extremely impressed with Christine's restaurant. Suzanne and her team went above and beyond to make our daughter's christening tea truly special. The coronation chicken sandwiches were delicious, the sausage rolls, mini quiches, and pies were all amazing, and everything was served with a smile by the hardworking staff. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be returning again and again. Well done Suzanne! And to top it off, the coffee is the best in Woodbridge!"

"We used to come here often before it closed and we have been waiting to try it again and we weren't disappointed. The service was excellent. The food was faultless. I had the beer battered prawns for starters which had a really crispy batter and the prawns were soft, not hard like some places. Then the pork belly which was beautiful. It is rolled and slow cooked with a rich gravy. My wife had the pork balls for starters which were in a really tasty mustard sauce. The beef suet pie was outstanding. I really could not fault what we had. Thank you to all the staff for making this a wonderful return to the White Horse. We will be back."

"I have been going to this cafe for years and it has always been a treat for me but I have changed my opinion since my last visit. I had a cheese and ham toastie. Usually this is lovely and tasty, thick ham slices and real cheese, not now though. The ham was cheap thin sliced and the cheese was horrible plastic cheese that doesn’t melt and horrible and stretchy. Whether it’s to save money or make even more profit on these already incredibly expensive toasties who knows, I only know I will not be going back for food."

"I have dined in many fine restaurants worldwide over my 62 years, so when I say that this was the best meal I have ever had, you can trust that it comes from a wealth of experience. The cauliflower starter and venison main course were exceptional, with the chocolate sauce adding a delightful touch. The chocolate dessert with ginger was also fantastic. The service staff were not only friendly but also very professional, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. Kudos to all involved in making this restaurant stand out."

"We placed a food order and was given a delivery time of 45 mins. We rang after 90 minutes to be told that our pizzas were being prepared. Two hours and fifteen minutes later the food was delivered. The pizzas were greasy, the chicken fillets were cold and the three portions of chips were luke warm. All required reheating in our oven. The dips and coleslaw that we paid for were not delivered either. We have messaged La Vita but they have chosen to ignore my complaint. First and last time we will use this establishment."

"We were staying in Blythborough, just 10 minutes up the road from The King's Head. We decided to lunch here, and were greeted with enthusiasm, and seated in the small restaurant, which soon became busy. Despite the place buzzing, the young gentleman providing the service did so with verve, and most enthusiastically. The food was splendid and expertly prepared. The local Earl Soham Victoria Bitter was excellent and the prices were all most acceptable. We were so impressed that we booked for lunch again two days later. Hope to return in the future."

"What an absolute gem of a place! We were visiting Felixstowe and decided to have dinner on Sunday having read the reviews! From the moment we entered we were greeted warmly, shown to a lovely table and given time to consider drinks which were delivered swiftly and with a smile. We ordered our food and was completely impressed by the taste and quality! Hot, tasty, a varied menu and lots to choose from, we were not disappointed by our choices and the glamour were delicious! The service too was impeccable! We are returning to felixstowe in 4 weeks and will definitely be booking a table to return. The best indian in Felixstowe no question at all! "What a delightful experience at this cafe! The sandwich was beautifully made, and I appreciated how attentive and helpful the staff were with my dairy allergy. I would definitely return here for another meal. I especially enjoyed the music selection, which appealed to my younger taste. "There's not much in the way of ambience here flatly lit with large windows looking out onto winter darkness so not a place for an intimate dinner. Some of our menu choices were good but the fish and chips were a big disappointment: grey probably pre frozen coley in a restaurant in a fishing village? The menu deliberately does not identify the fish... the chef needs to up his game in Aldeburgh."
