"The fact that the restaurant didn't have an empty table while we were there emphasises its popularity and based upon our visit for the first time on Saturday 28th October, it has to be because of the quality of the food and service. We were served quickly, the food was tasty and hot and the young waitresses were very attentive in their duties. It didn't bother us that it wasn't licenced. We just took a bottle of wine with us and paid the one pound per person corkage fee which worked out much cheaper than buying restaurant wine. My partner thought that cost wise it was more expensive than other Thai restaurants we have been to. Whether that was the case or not though is immaterial when you consider how satisfied we were with our evening."

"We ordered from Domingos for the first time on Saturday. It was a large order 8 pizzas. From ordering to delivery Richard kept in touch, confirming the order and letting us know it was on its way. It arrived on time and didn’t disappoint. The pizzas were hot, extremely tasty and went down very well with all. The bases are lovely and light. We had family round who all commented on how nice the food was. Great food and service. Much, much nicer than other well known pizza delivery companies. We will definitely be ordering these again. Thank you."

"We decided to try this restaurant for the first time because we are considering moving nearby and wanted to check out the local dining options. The experience was great, with some unique menu items like the hähnchenkatsu burger that we had never tried before and absolutely loved. The dining room was cozy and the service was excellent, making us feel well taken care of by the friendly team. The atmosphere in the bar area was lively without being intrusive to the dining room, and the overall value for the price was definitely worth a return visit."

"My wife and I have always loved Lily 's, unfortunately we have seen another side to this place recently. On Saturday, September 23rd, we were in the Alexander next door to the restaurant. Knowing they close at 10pm, we attempted to get in at bang on 9pm but were told no-one was allowed in after 9, it was 9pm, but we weren 't going to argue the point so we went elsewhere. Then again, tonight 21/10/2023, we decided we wouldn 't make that mistake again, so we went at 7:45pm. OK, we hadn 't booked, but thought they 'd be able to squeeze us in. We asked for a table for three people, but were told, as we hadn 't booked, we couldn 't go in. I looked around the room and there seemed to be a few empty table. Anyway we left the premises, then decided we 'd go back in and get takeaway. While we were waiting in the queue at the takeaway section, we were shocked to hear the lady on the door, tell a group of four people, who asked for a table and hadn 't pre-booked, Yes, we can squeeze you in! What the heck is that all about? Discrimination against football fans? We weren 't drunk or unruly, so why the prejudice?"

"We were seated at our table for 4 and once our drinks arrived, starters followed very quickly. We were continuously interrupted by different waiters asking us are we ready to have our main meal. I asked could we finish enjoying our drinks first, but within minutes we were interrupted again as they wanted the plates cleared and one of us still hadn't even finished! Again, we were asked are we ready for the main course. Served main course and after i put my knife snd fork down just to take a minute, the waiter was there asking if I'd finished! Felt rushed, even though restaurant was getting quiter as people were leaving. Would not go again even though food was tasty. Vegetarian options: I had vegetable korma. Boiled rice Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Shaslick Karahi Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Vegetarian offerings: Not sure"

"This was our second visit, having been amazed by the quality and presentation of a Sunday lunch we all enjoyed so much recently. The attention to detail here is astounding and I cannot think of any serious competition they must have. Tonight's meal was sooooo good all courses were a feast for the eye as well as the tum. Service was friendly and attentive and we all left feeling totally satisfied and looking forward to our next visit."

"Just had a Sunday carvery here and must say it was really good! The food was extremely tasty and service was excellent. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 Stars was because it the tables were rammed into a very small conservatory! All in all a nice experience and my mother enjoyed it as it was her 93rd birthday."

"It has been a while since we last visited this restaurant, but on a whim, we decided to go for a pizza each. However, we ended up opting for a full meal instead. I ordered prawns with smoked salmon as a starter, while my husband had pate - both were delicious. For our main courses, I had fillet steak with dolcelatte sauce and my husband had chicken with asparagus and creamy sauce; both dishes were accompanied by the freshest vegetables. My steak was cooked perfectly. The desserts were also delightful, and we ended the meal with the best espresso I have ever tasted. The staff were friendly and efficient, making it the best dining experience we have had in a while. We definitely won't wait so long to come back again."

"Stalybridge, recently named the city of culture 2022, is home to this hidden gem of a restaurant! Located next to the River Tame, diners can enjoy a scenic view of the flowing river from the lower level seating area. During the summer, the rooftop terrace provides a continental atmosphere, while the delicious aroma of freshly cooked food fills the air. The menu features Turkish cuisine with amazing meat dishes and a fantastic selection for vegetarians. Their halloumi kebabs are a must-try! The staff is friendly and accommodating, making it an ideal spot for group bookings and special occasions."

"Lovely clean modern pub, with a great friendly atmosphere. I have been on numerous occasions with just my husband for a lovely meal or with family and friends for birthdays and celebratory meal. The food may be classed as traditional homemade pub grub. But it is more like restaurant standard. There as often been 20 of us including children and the professional, friendly staff always go out of their way to accommodate our needs. You know how awkward kids can be, saying I don’t want beans, pea’s etc. There is a good choice on the menu homemade e.g Fish and Chips, hand made pies, chicken, burgers, Lasagna, curry etc. Plus a healthy choice menu for those who are counting the calories. Great kids menu. Lovely Desserts. Always freshly cooked and delicious. Great value for money. I would advise to book in advance as always gets booked up quickly, especially for there Sunday Roast as it gets very busy. It is proper fresh meat’s and veggies. The quiz night on a Thursday is a fabulous night. Great atmosphere and free chip butty. They televise all live sports in the tap room and have a pool table. There is a car park at the rear which is a bonus."

"Went to Los Amigos Sunday tea time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed a lovely meal served by very pleasant and efficient staff. We had, jumbo wings, barbecue pork ribs, meat balls, chicken skewers, patatas bravas and a feta salad and they were all brilliant. Although we were quite full after that feast, we forced ourselves to have a dessert and shared a lovely tiramisu and ice cream. Couple of pints of San Miguel for me and a couple of white wines for the boss which she topped off with a Kahlua coffee. A very wonderful evening!!"

"I have never been made to feel as I did at this restaurant. The staff was so rude and obnoxious! The lasagna and salad, which seemed to be missing leaves, were not to my personal preference."

"The food at this restaurant is excellent, but due to illness, I opted for delivery. The total charge was £16.20, which included a £2.00 delivery fee, which I did not mind. However, the delivery driver was upset when I paid with a ten pound note, two two pound coins, two one pound coins, and twenty pence in small change. He rudely informed me that the restaurant does not accept bronze coins as legal tender and said he would not accept them in the future. I decided that I would not be ordering from this place again, as I have used it frequently in the past for collection. I will not tolerate the rude and arrogant behavior of this man, whether it be for collection or delivery."

"Unfortunately having to give a 1*. We use Chutney Masala quite a lot, as the food is one of the best in the area but every time we order we have to call up after an hour and chase up the delivery as it 's always late. Often it seems the order hasn 't even been started and eventually turns up after another half an hour of waiting. The last order, the driver turned up (about 45 mins late) with no change and after asking if I had correct change or if I could overpay, he fumbled around in his pocket and offered a shrug of the shoulders and left no option but to over pay him with the promise of getting it back 'next time ' if I wanted my food. Never any apology or offer of compensation which is a real shame as we love the food here."

"Called in for a birthday breakfast, the ladies in here are so kind and friendly. Made me feel very special. Food delicious, they always go out of their way to go above and beyond. In the summer we have eaten outside in the court yard with our dog and little boy, it started to lightly rain so thought we would have to leave, the next thing we knew, the owner provided us with a huge umbrella so we could continue our lunch, really lovely, thoughtful people. Have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Thank ladies xx"

"My friend and I visited this restaurant with our beloved pooch, Lola. The exterior looked inviting, so we decided to grab some lunch. However, as soon as we entered, our mood was dampened by a staff member behind the bar who seemed unwelcoming and gave us a disapproving look. When my friend inquired about bringing our dog in, the lady hesitated before reluctantly saying they were dog-friendly, but not for Lola's "sort" of dog. Shocked, I asked for clarification, only to be told that the landlord wouldn't approve of a Staffy cross like her. We were offended and saddened by her discriminatory attitude. Lola is a friendly dog who gets along well with children and other animals. If you're looking for a warm welcome, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant."
