"Unable to book for Sunday 4th August as Edwards was closed (Karen's birthday , we had to wait another week for our favourite roast. Well worth the wait. Tender beef and succulent chicken with plentiful tasty veg (don't forget the cauliflower cheese . The better half managed 2 scoops of coffee ice cream and ordered a dessert (can't remember if it was cheesecake or meringue to take away, intending to eat it in the evening. It was gone as soon as we got home! Excellent value for the best roast in Halesworth (maybe Suffolk?"

"my 11-year-old son won a gift voucher in a charitable raffle. we were visiting for our first visit yesterday. we will definitely go back! my son said the bacon balls are downstairs, the best I ever had! I must agree. the hot chocolate was perfect, not too sweet or powdery as some. we also took cake home. the apple crumb cake is to die for! the service was quick friendly. the whole place has a really nice atmosphere. we love it!"

"my wife and I and two more couples went for the first time in the graze last night (10/04/22). eating was ok, the service average, but the reason I feel obliged to do this is because what happened. we ordered the net when we were asked. first when we were ready and the same with the desert, but we were asked to leave our table and eat in the bar as they needed the table for the next cover. we led to a table in a bar near the beginning, which was a thorough road. they took a desert and our three coffees of the bill, but that did little to be honest. I am 55 and was never asked to leave a table for another party. I'll never go there again and not our friends. we will also publish this terrible experience on facebook."

"I had high expectations for the pizza here as the food is said to be really good and they’ve built an area outside with a pizza oven. Unfortunately the dough and pizza making needs a lot of work. My pizza was undercooked, doughy and floppy as hell. For the price this is totally unacceptable. Anyone who knows and loves good pizza will have been to brick pizza in Norwich, amazing pizzas and you don’t pay more than £13 for a pizza. £14 my pizza was at the bell and it so substandard, I’ve had better pizza at spoons. Also £12 for a margarita is a joke, a margarita is £9 at brick and they’re worlds apart. We ordered a side of fries (also extortionate) and they were undercooked. I don’t mind paying the prices if the food is worth it but in this case it wasn’t and I’m regretting wasting my money. Garlic mayo was good. I’ve also been before for steak and it was lovely. The pizza is just really not worth it"

"Out of the many resturants I have had burgers and chips in, I have never had them as good as I have had in JoJo's, and the diner itself is a small, comfortable place with two floors, and with a bar on the first, with welcoming and friendly staff. They are currently closed in persons of typing this currently, with a sign saying they will be back in spring, but their delivery service is still avaliable, with timeslots delivery options and also the best packaging I have recieved for a food delivery, with the food being nearly as hot as it would be if it were just out the kitchen, a first for me using delivery services. All in all, amazing, thank you JoJo's!"

"Such a lovely place to stay! I spent one night here while I was in the area for business. My room was wonderful, with a huge bath and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was also exceptional. And the people who run it are incredibly nice, they're so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. One of the best places I've stayed for a long time!"

"another wonderful four-night stay for me in this family-run hotel and restaurant. the rooms are always very clean and comfortable, eating is excellent and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. the hotel has its own parking space and is conveniently located only on the main street of this very old interesting city with many individual shops. enormous value for money with a very warm welcome. many thanks to the whole team and we will see each other soon."

"we are just after an amazing evening in the swan for our 15th Wedding Jubilee,Staff, where so helpful and polite and had a lot of knowledge on the building. our room was stunning and a beautiful note was the inviting cake with happy annual day on. a free bottle of adnams gin and the wellness products where so nice to use. we had a wonderful view of the place with a window seat that was so beautiful to sit and watch the people. I booked a table in the quiet room and my quality, we were not disappointed, it was nicely presented staff, where very attentive and it dared fantastic. and another finishing touch was a teller with happy jubilee on it and a selection of mini cakes that was just so beautiful. we had an amazing night sleep, but to be fair, we have 2 year old twins and an 8 year old, so that always a full night sleep is always very welcome. breakfast was amazing with a selection of chalky juices even champagner, if u wanted a pick up from me from the night above all we had an amazing stay and sohope we can talk the big parents to have the kids again, so we can stay again. Many thanks that we had a nice time. the wilsons xxx"

"6 of us went for a dinner as before we only had time for a light snack but after seeing the dinners being severed to other customers we really wanted to try the meals. Well we all had different meals and there wasn't a crumb left on our plates. Absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, lovely and hot and at a very reasonable price. Really great quality delicious food, none of us could fault anything and the dessert's were just the same. Service was excellent, we all had a superb time. "We ordered a chef’s recommended set meal M2 for 2 people, got 10% off for collecting it, and at £27.90 it was fantastic value for money! I’m renowned for my appetite, and I think this could have comfortably fed 3 normal people, lol. The quality was also of a far higher quality than I’m used to from a takeaway. LOTS of king prawns (compared to stingy portions elsewhere), the chilli black bean sauce was more nuanced and flavoursome than the usual black bean sauce from elsewhere, and overall a better, more varied and more interesting selection of dishes than you usually get on a set menu. Highly recommended!"

"The girl behind the bar was very rude. As soon as we arrived she asked what name the table was booked under and repeated it back incorrectly. She then asked what we would like to drink. My partner asked for a becks, which was served in a bierra moretti glass. I asked for a house white wine was told they didn’t have a house white. She then reeled off eight names of wine, all white. I said I’d have a Sauvignon to which she said ‘New Zealand or French?’ She then served me a New Zealand white in a red wine glass! I was also under the impression they do Sunday roast as shown on their website from 12 midday with no end time was very disappointed when there was no roast on the menu. The waitress we ordered food from was very nice and polite. My partner asked for Cromer crab after ordering it thought about how he was going to de shell it. He immediately asked a different waitress if they could de shell it for him thinking if they couldn’t he would order something else. She didn’t come back with an answer so he had to ask again!! I have no complaints about the food. The food was very nice. The chef also did a good job of serving the crab as requested. When we finished our food we went downstairs to pay the bill the rude waitress slammed some glasses on the bar right in front of us. We just paid the bill and went."

"We visited Oulton Broad for the first time and found this magical little resturant by the railway line and the aromas invited us in. We were had a great night, food was lovely, staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic! Coming from Birmingham it felt like home from home. The food was tasty and good spice, nann and rice were beautiful I would definetly recommend to anyone going up to Lowestoft for a holiday or stopping in the MJB apartments go and enjoy a beautiful meal at this great curry house we will definetly be going again! "Awful meal. Starting off with being charged 50p to order of their own website and collect paying with cash. Food ready and in a bag when I arrived 10 mins early so only lukewarm. Spring rolls in batter and mainly bland beansprouts. The shrimp chow mein should have been called chow mean as 5 shrimps! Go elsewhere . Sad as used to be okay. Maybe it has changed hands?"

"really great pizza. ignore them google and the website that he is open at the evening from 18 clock, and they are the best pizzas I had in years. there are only three options on the menu, but all look delicious. we had the paprika and the Sardinian olives. there is also a margherita. there are house red and white wine on glass and bottle and a few Italian beers. pre-booking is recommended (see website for instructions.)"

"We arrived at the Village Maid and were made welcome by the staff. I ordered Fish Pie but what came up was nothing like a fish pie . Normally it’s cooked in its own individual bowl and you can then order sides to go with it .What came up was peas, cabbage , a large piece of broccoli , a few bits of fish floating in a very bland sauce , with a dollop of warm mash placed on top . It didn’t have any flavour and shouldn’t have been described as fish pie . I would never have ordered this had I have known what was going to be served . When the waiter came back to take our plates he asked us if everything was ok . I told him what I’ve said here that it can hardly be described as fish pie as it was just not cooked the way a fish pie is . He said that he had received feedback like that before and that the wording on the menu should be changed . So my point is why are they still describing it as fish pie!! It’s misleading to say the least , very disappointed with the food here"

"What a brilliant community pub that openly welcomes visitors. During our visit to Broadlands Sands Holiday Park the 6 of us went for a walk following the coast and on the way back popped in to this pub for a warm up drink. The main bar was busy with locals watching the football so we went in to the other bar where it was quieter and then out to the conservatory area where we found some comfy sofas at one end and settled in. The IPA was lovely as was the Lurcher stout. Cups of tea were had by two of the ladies, no sweet sherry for them this time . We met Ghost the beautiful rescue Husky who is clearly adored by those who go there as well as some other well behaved dogs so the pub is very dog friendly. We also noticed quite a few other groups of walkers popping in. We did get a tad rowdy with our laughter and had a great few hours there without any hassle. The only photos we have focus on someone impersonating Wally We already had our food sorted at the caravan so didnt eat there hut what we saw being served to the tables looked yummy. A great respite on a nice walk"
