"During our two visits, we had different experiences. The first visit for lunch was a bit disappointing in terms of food and service. The fish and chips were underwhelming, with flabby chips, but the fish and batter were delicious. The service was also lacking, with waiters seeming disconnected. However, the sandwich ended up being tasty despite being dropped on the table.
Our second visit for dinner went much smoother. We booked a table in advance and were promptly seated in the back area. We enjoyed a starter of baked Camembert, which was delicious and quickly devoured. For the main course, I had the confit duck leg with fondant potato and a butterbean and bacon sauce, which was flavorful and well-prepared.
Overall, I would give three stars for the first visit and four stars for the second visit. Despite the disappointing chips, the duck was excellent."
