"To be honest I wasn 't sure what to expect and I 'm not usually a good one for sharing platters but l decided to try as my husband wanted to. Well.....my experience last night was really really great. I woke this morning even thinking about it. The place is intimate with very friendly and helpful staff. The furnishings are basic and really tasteful. Bringing in our dog was no problem and they even gave him his own bowl of water. The food was absolutely delicious and in good portions. After the main meal we had this amazing cake the lady had just made and it totally topped off a wonder unexpected experience for me. So so glad we went and we will definitely go back. Thank you for making our evening a really nice one."

"I've been coming to the egremont for 18 years, I'm 49 now and I love it now, as I was back then. I have seen that all the changes take place, and I can honestly say how it is now, is the best it ever was. I'm still trying the Sunday roast, but I love the pub, I was raised in the environment and I'm still living just a stone throw away and have this pub as my local is something special. loves the personal and loves everything about it. stop the good workers!"

"Salsa Viva is our absolute favourite restaurant in Worthing. The food is always top notch, fresh and flavourful. Portion sizes are perfect and the prices are really good for quality and quantity! The staff are so friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy yourself. The atmosphere is also great, as it’s a small restaurant you don’t feel overwhelmed by other diners. I honestly couldn’t recommend Salsa Viva Cantina more, we take all our friends there when we can!"

"We love this cafe so a friend got a gift voucher for my husbands 40th birthday, as his birthday was in lockdown we saved it till the cafe was reopened and then the government did the eat out to help out scheme, bonus, we can...then eat more for half the price! We came down on the Wednesday and well took full advantage of the eat out to help out, it was a really hot day so eat inside, we had egg royale, cooked to perfection and tasted devine, the owners are really nice and friendly, the lemon Drizzle cake is also well worth a slice too. The staff worked incredibly hard in the extreme heat, we'll be back, see you again Love The Selwood family"

"amazing, absolutely amazing. the whole experience of going out into the door was a thoroughly pleasant. I ordered the orchard breakfast and my partner had the banana pancakes (the bananas for strawberries removed). the waiting period for the food was minimal and the quality of the food was excellent! the waiting staff was incredibly friendly and explained the menu very well. there was quite a lot of a substitute option for vegan on almost any meal. all menu options are available all day. round them a very pleasant experience. I would recommend the obstgarten for every day. it can be quite busy so that a booking is recommended, we have managed to press it without one, but we have quickly noticed that many people had previously booked."

"Went to the most wonderful wedding here this week...provably the best ever... The venue was outstanding, perfect fir a summers day. The food was lovely and displayed with such originality and care...no wonder it all got eaten!! Great selection in the bar, rhubarb gin my new favourite! Loved the garden and outside area, football was played, children ran around and the boat in the garden, perfect! The staff were brilliant, friendly welcoming and attentive without being obtrusive...genuinely wanted us to have have a great time...they even joined in and danced with us! All in all I will plan a visit to Worthing to come back to this venue although I suspect without the wedding it may be a little quieter. I get why the wedding couple love it so much"

"malt is a real gem! only back from a week in worthing and so happy I found painting on day 1! everything over painting is special. I tasted delicious coffee, tee, meals and cake! the sweet potato rosti is a wonderful plate full of amazing taste and the carrot cake is the best I ever had! every time I went after painting, I was warmly welcomed by high staff. robyn has said that every visit has made special!"

"After reading all the positive reviews this restaurant had a lot to live up to. And it did! A few observations other than the food was excellent. The place feels welcoming with modern decor and furnishings. The art was interesting. The cocktails were very professionally made. However this is a place to take your time, the food does not appear fast but that’s a good thing demonstrating the care with which it is prepared You will have a great meal, relax and enjoy."

"Whilst not our first visit to one of Indigo's themed nights, this was definitely one of my favourites! An engaging, fun and interactive atmosphere first we were welcomed with the bag pipes leading us to our seats, then we were treated to some Robert Burns poetry during a delightful 5 course dinner. The evening concluded with some traditional Scottish dancing, lots of fun! As always, the food was exemplary particular favourites being the Potted Venison and the Langoustine and Salmon Mousse. Great value for money and outstanding service. Highly recommended."

"We called in towards the end of what was an extremely busy lunch service (Bluebell Run). We were after some lunch and struggling to find somewhere with any room. The Fox staff couldn't have been more accommodating. There was no sign of stress or tiredness from anyone. All the staff were friendly and just really pleasant people. I had a delicious vegtables Tagine and rice and my partener had the roast pork. All veg was fresh and cooked properly. No cmplaints from us!! The couple next table not so happy, not enough gravy and her roast potatoes were too big!??? Thinks she was a regular and the staff went out of their way to get her different potatoes and more gravy. Hey ho you can't please all the people all the time but we went away happy. This is a family friendly pub that serves a descent meal at reasonable prices."

"When we arrived, we stated we had a booking and the owner (assumed) recognized that and pointed us to the back...we had to figure out which table was ours and then he finally came round and seated us after an awkward moment. Now, I am...going to blame covid for this but there was a lack of attention and staff. I am definitely going back as the food was amazing but want to see if the service is really lacking or just a victim of the situation. We started with the mussels and they were full of flavour and steamed to perfection. We had the bruscetta as well and it too was very good and full of flavour. As we rarely see liver on the menu anywhere these days, we jumped at it and it was cooked to perfection with plenty of hearty gravy on a bed of mash. The wine was truly stunning. It's the Barolo and it was reasonably priced. We shared the lemon sorbet and limoncello dessert and finished with a double espresso. We'll go back and I'll get a feeling on the staffing and let you know in a month or so. Of note, the pricing is odd. Starters and desserts aren't cheap yet mains are reasonable as is the wine."

"We placed a order for 4 at 7.15pm for a delivery.. we were called back by the manager/owner to say that the delivery would be more likely to arrive by 8.30 Pm.. at 8.45pm we called the restaurant to see if our order was on the way .. we were told that had been delayed and was just leaving.. we asked to speak with the manager/owner but they refused to come to the phone .. once the food arrived you could tell that the food had been sitting around as the sticky rice was like a brick! Unfortunately this is about the 4th time we have experienced delivery issues and due to this we will not being using them again"

"We had an amazing evening at this restaurant. Our group of 11 was served drinks promptly and our orders were quickly taken. The staff easily accommodated our two guests with celiac disease and we all enjoyed a delicious meal. The atmosphere was fantastic and we would definitely return. I personally had a burger and chicken wings, both of which were juicy and generously portioned. I highly recommend this place."

"that is the first calf for us! I know, but we go almost every week and have never been disappointed, the service of everything is incredible, especially since we have some diet requirements, they always do best. eating is really good, honest to home cooked Italian cuisine. the device is beautifully modern and clean. "on the beautiful and sunny day during the Easter holidays for lunch in munch coffee and we can not put a word on how amazing our time was there. sam greeted us so cordially and took the time to chat with us while we had our. order we had the day specialties, open hummus sandwich and a homemade falafel wrap with amazing drinks so that we could not resist the temptation of their hellories, and so happy we did. we couldn't get enough of it! eating was simple, but amazingly delicious, everything was delicious, perfectly cooked, quality our meal was simply the best. the best coffee spot we have visited in a very long time. will go to my next trip to worthing in any case again too much coffee! Many thanks to the team for the time spent with them and the eating they shared with us"

"We live locally but hadn’t visited this place for a while. Previous visits had been positive. The service and atmosphere were both good and the place was pretty busy as it was a Friday evening. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We ordered an assortment of tapas plates. The ‘Spanish Iberic meats’ plate was standard Spanish meats similar to that you can buy at any supermarket, it didn’t include any Iberico ham as perhaps implied. The batter on the calamares and pescado frito was soft and the calamares did not taste fresh. We also ordered meatballs, which did taste homemade and were good, however the sauce accompanying them tasted as if it was from a jar. Finally, the grilled assorted vegetable plate was so over cooked, all the vegetables were mushy so we left it. We won’t be going back."
