"We read the reviews and excitedly booked as a family of four. Two adults, two children. My Portuguese friend and I were really looking forward to some authentic spanish tapas on what turned out to be an incredibly hot day in Worthing. We arrived at 7.15pm and was seated in the wooden shack at the back. No air con, just a grubby domestic fan and 28 degree heat with no windows meant the atmosphere felt hot, sticky and uncomfortable. The table and chairs are very uncomfortable and too small to comfortablly fit four people and tapas plates. The chairs are hard and felt like the screws need to be tightened. Its hard to relax on a hard chair that feels like it will fall apart... We ordered 1 Juice, 2 Cokes, 1 Sangria and 1 table water. The drinks didn 't have ice and the table water arrived with glasses but no water. The Sangria was bitter, the pineapple juice was delicious. Once we had sorted drinks, the waitress brought a list for us to tick our selection. She looked at my Portugese friend and said I presume you know how to read this? You sound like you understand Spanish. like an English woman doesn 't know how to read patatas bravas right? We ordered the Ham and Cheese meat board for two, Black Ali Oli Bread, Tortilla Española con cebolla, Champiñones al ajillo, Croquetas con jamon Serrano, and Bomboncitos de Morcilla. Overall the food was bland and poorly cooked. The flavours were not as you would expect. We enjoyed the tortilla and bomboncitos which were full or fravour and enjoyable. The mushrooms were tinned, watery and tasteless and we asked for these to be refunded. The cost of the food was £83 and we left quite hungry. The overall cleanliness, heat in the shack, table stability and rubbish dump feel of this place leaves a lot to be desired. If you would like to go here, check out the shop front. It gives a far better reality of the place. Dumped white goods (freezers) line the outside building, and inside probably does not meet any or many building regulations at all. It fwels very poor and overpriced for what was the worst dining out experience I have had in a while."

"My partner and I have only had take aways (many! over the years and we are always completely bowled over by Issa 's beautiful food. It is not only utterly delicious and very fresh, but so well presented. I love how they always add a variety of vegetables to the Dom bowls.. always something different, and always so many different things together. Embarrassingly, I had never tried (or heard of shiso leaves until they were in front of me... they were a revelation. Also the way Issa so carefully and precisely cut vegetables to go into some of their rolls.. the way they present all and go over and above.... we are always left feeling that we have not only had the chance to eat fabulous food but food into which much care has been given. I have never been to Japan, but I have been lucky enough to travel to a lot of the world and I can safely say that they make the best sushi my partner and I have ever eaten anywhere,. Including 'posh ' restaurants in London etc. My only criticism (although it isn 't one really is that they could do with not using any mayo type sauces in some of their rolls, but I think they probably do that to suit our dodgy british taste! And the antithesis to this is how they always add miso soups to any take away order (I dont know about dining in this is such an exceptional addition and so lovely. Thank you Issa for enlivening our lives! We really look forward to eating your food and plan doing so for ages in advance ;"

"A lovely sunny Sunday lunchtime we had tossed up between the sea front and Warwick Street for a pizza. In the end we chose the tranquility of Fiordilatte rather than being puffed at by exhaust fumes. We were so glad we did. Our lovely waitress, whom we thought was from Southern Italy but was actually originally from Kuwait, made us feel immediately welcome. She took our drinks order and we were also brought a bottle of water and two glasses as a matter of course. Fiordilatte has always had a simple straightforward menu with a neat range of delicious sounding pizze at excellent prices. Ours arrived pretty quickly as they weren't busy when we arrived. The pizzas were large and every bit as good as we remembered. No thick crusts here, real Italian sourdough pizzas with lots of fresh topping. Just fabulous. Our waitress was attentive at all times and made sure that we were enjoying our meal and spared a little time for a chat. It turned out that she was actually a student at Worthing College. I think lunchtimes get busier later on Sundays. At around 2.15 more people began to arrive plus there was a queue for their scrumptious Italian ice creams. When it came to dessert we chose Affogato vanilla ice cream with Espresso coffee which is poured over the ice cream. Because they were getting pretty busy our desserts took a little time to come, but hey it was a sunny Sunday and we weren't try to catch a train. Inside the restaurant they sell Sicilian desserts to take away. We couldnt resist. Absolutely lush. Thank you Fiordilatte. Got to be the very best pizzas in Worthing and excellent value."
