"I booked the table online, although there was a Wigan game on, but the recipe could best be described as hostile. the gruß said there was no record of the booking I arrived a little early and you said I had to wait 45 minutes. I let the rude and abrupt one I have experienced go to the embarrassment of my daughter's sake. I asked for the table in 45 minutes and said I had a drink at the bar. I sat 10 minutes later at one of the 5 empty tables in the restaurant! the eating was ok, but nothing special, the place was busy, so the waiter was stretched and the individual table service was thereby suffered."

"My wife and I enjoyed the crushed avocado breakfast. It was delicious, and we appreciated that there wasn’t an overwhelming amount of avocado that can sometimes overpower the beautifully prepared eggs, which were relaxed and casual. One suggestion would be to improve the coffee temperature; we encountered similar issues at other places, so it may be related to the machines used for brewing. Perhaps they could ask customers if they would like their coffee hotter?"

"The adult menu also has a good variety and is generally quite tasty. We’ve dined here often enough that we’ve experienced a few less-than-stellar meals, but overall, the food is good. The service is very friendly, provided by staff members who have been there for a while, which is uncommon for chain restaurants. There is plenty of parking available, and it's conveniently located right next to the cinema. It's a perfect spot for birthday celebrations too!"

"Overall Average food with below average service. Sat down and given drinks but no large beers only small. Took a while to take order for food even though was not even 6 tables full . Food arrived and was okay. At 15.99 a pizza you expect it to be worth it but was just average. Desserts didn't come out together. Asked for bill, no free kids meal deducted so asked waitress to amend and also blue light card. Waitress disappeared and never came back then other waitress appeared to be told we can't use blue light card with kids discount. By this time was just ready to leave so paid and left. Won't be returning. Plus don't take cash too"

"My family and I have been regular customers at F&B's Didsbury for quite some time now, in fact, it's been years! The deals they offer are always fantastic. I have never had a meal here that didn't taste good, and if there have ever been any issues, the staff have always gone above and beyond to make it right. I would have to say that the best thing about this place is the staff. They always greet us by name and make our experience feel personalized. They are also very eager to keep us as loyal customers, which we don't mind at all! They are very accommodating when it comes to special requests with our orders, and they have a great selection for vegans as well. It's nice to see familiar faces every time we visit, and there is no doubt that my family will continue to come back here. Keep up the great work!"

"a couple of times. not the best eating and personal hard to catch to get any kind of quality service. very loud music cones on freezing and courteous inquiries to turn one down, and the other up have been answered with this, is as it always sticky tables, lip pen on glass, not mine. minutes for net that were not good quality. commentary of waitress are not very hungry, since it has collected the overcooked dried pasta and burned garlic bread. Try it again."

"This is not a place to go if you value your time. If you don't and want a cheap meal out and yes, this is the place for you. Though I will weep for your tastebuds. We went to this restaurant about 90 minutes before our movie was to start. There were 4 booths empty and a whole set of tables empty as well, so I thought it wouldn't be long before we'd get a table. The Hostess gave us a buzzer and told us it would be a 15 minute wait and we can sit at the bar area for drinks and wait. I hate it when restaurants do this, shuffling patrons over to the bar area, where invariably the drinks are overpriced. That 15 minute wait turned into 28 minutes. When I went up to the Hostess and complained magically they were able to seat us. Our waitress was very prompt with our drinks order and food order. So kudos to her, whoever she is. My companion had a burger and chips two small onion rings. I ordered the spagetti bolognese (but with penne pasta instead). My companion's burger looks pretty good it had cheese and bacon and looked juicy. Mine looked like they used some store bought jar sauce, and it tasted like it. For the pleasure of rather unappetizing pasta I paid the glorious amount of £8.95. I value it at £2. as the pasta wasn't fresh and neither was the sauce. Don't come here if you value your time. There are better ways to spend your time."

"frankie benny is generally good. eating in this special restaurant is pleasant: I had some great ribs from here, with many super sweet BBQ sauce. on a separate occasion I ordered to start a garlic bead, and a pizza for my pornstar. When the starter came out, I thought it was the main thing. frankie bennys garlic bread is in the round a pizza base with a garlic mixture above. I probably saw everyone eating pizza after pizza. still, very pleasant. a part of the service I had at f b was completely perfect. Some don't. it seems to be a bit hit and miss in this opposite. I like the 50s decoration and style of layout, it is something else."

"One redeeming feature was the service, waiter attentive and friendly, food delivered to us promptly. Unfortunately I cannot say such nice things about the food. Starters were the Doughballs and Calamari, both of which were pretty average. The 'herb butter ' (or whatever the dip for the Doughballs is called) was very bland, only serving to give the Doughballs a greasy texture. No complaints about the Calamari, but I won 't be rushing to recommend it to anyone. The mains however, were bad. We ordered the Beef Burger and the Italian Hot Pizza. The Burger was dripping in mayo, and I mean properly dripping think of a Christmas pudding with icing dribbling down the sides, that 's what this burger looked like. Fries served with the Burger were noticeably microwaved, but the Patty and Veg were passable. The Italian Hot is visually appealing, and the pizza base is okay, but my god were the toppings bland. If it wasn 't for my eyesight and a vague taste of cheddar cheese or monterey Jack, I would not be able to tell if I was eating warm soggy cardboard or a Pizza. I should note that the pizza is only topped by mozzarella, according to the menu. Thoroughly dull food, and quite overpriced for the quality. Why am I writing this? What did I expect, from a chain restaurant? Well, a lot more than this. I 'm by no means a fussy eater and certainly not one to leave 1/5 review for a soggy pizza base in Frankie and Benny 's. The real sin of this meal is what it does to the gut my partner and I feel physically ill after eating here, like we want to go home and eat lettuce for the rest of our lives to detox our bodies. It 's bad, and absolutely not worth the money. If you 're hungry, go to Tescos and get a meal deal, it 's much tastier, healthier, and reasonably priced. It 's not worth it."

"I was looking forward to going to the cinema next door with my partner on a rare day off we had each and decided to pop in here to try it out and ended up regretting that decision. We was welcomed in by a guy at the front desk and taken to a seat. We checked they had a disabled access toilet for my partner as she is a wheelchair user and they did which is the only plus thing in this review. We were seated at a table in a restaurant that was easily less than a quarter full and did not get seen for over 10 mins, not even for drinks, I had to request someone come over as the guy on front desk was on his phone and the 2 waitresses were standing and chatting to each other. Eventually we got served but the waitress taking our order didn't even look at us whilst doing so and was looking at someone else on another table. The vegan milkshake was good and the expresso martini was below average. We both had hot dogs and the bun was dry as old leather, I left mine but my partner was so hungry she forced her way through. The actual hot dog was also dry and with the speed we was served our meal I'm sure it had been cooked a long time ago and left out to dry. Couldn't find anyone to ask for the bill so in the end a guy emerged from a back office and I said I wanted to pay, he gave the bill then asked a waitress to come and setlle up. Terrible food and diabolical customer service. Will not be returning to this establishment any time in the future."

"The experience was terrible. I booked a table in advance, but the manager said she had no record of my reservation and asked us to pay the higher price instead. When I mentioned the mistake, she said it was a system error. We were seated at a dirty table and waited 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. I had to ask three different staff members for drinks. The service was horrendously slow, and we ended up having to hurry through our meal because we were running late for a movie."

"Waiting staff were brilliant and couldn’t have been more apologetic. However they are fighting a losing battle as ‘just eat’ is obviously king as the kitchen NEVER Stopped the entire 2 1/2 hours we were there. The customers IN the restaurant were waiting an age for food and drinks but you can’t fault the staff the company wants revenue and they certainly had a big take away trade. That’s great until walk in customers get peed off waiting and don’t go there but to the other outlets nearby. The staff get the brunt of the Instore customers waiting 50 mins for a pizza really is shocking.when it came one was excellent the other average we only got ours as we complained. The manageress was excellent and couldn’t have been more apologetic but she needs a separate kitchen for takeaway orders or if it carries on the place will shut anyway! Great staff shame as they won’t get tips as everyone’s naffed off!!"

The quality of the food here is similar to that of Bella Italia, but I personally prefer Ask when comparing big chain restaurants. "bad, nasty unsafe.! a group of four went for a meal, three where served their meals after a reasonable wait, the fourth meal came to five minutest after (not a good start) after reviewing the meal that it contained pasta not great when I ordered lamb and maische?! the waitress took away the meal, no policy given in this phase, ten minutes later a further meal was delivered (after most of the table was finished) after checking the meat it was still frozen in the middle. not happy, after the return of the meal to our waitress we asked to see the manager who came to the table, their first cake 'so what?! what do you think?! I wasn't happy with the pathetic excuses, the following ' mistakes happen his not a big thing, a just enough two is not acceptable. especially not happy, as I said, we had to pay for our meals. big mistake. neeedless to say, will be a formal complain! bad eating bad service what a waste of time and money"

"Decided to have an evening out at the cinema, then wanted something to eat so we went into Frankie and Benny's. First off our waiter was Alex M, fantastic guy who was funny and very helpful and made time for everyone he was serving. "We visited Mother's Day, probably one of the busiest days of the year for a family-friendly chain restaurant like this. Nevertheless, the service was good, there was no special waiting time for the food and the children had a good time. "I have booked my table and asked for a nice table because it was my son and he had requested this restaurant. when I arrived, we were shown on a ground (instead of the beautiful round stands available) and without mention was made the birthday of my sohnes. actually, when we mentioned it at the end (if the waitress asked if we do something nice later) she did not even know. the burgers we had were average and I fought to find something I liked on the menu. I chose the festive menu with south-facing chicken for starter. they were hard and overcooked to damage the upper inner of my mouth, and the meatball pasta was so disgusting that I sent it back. I didn't eat anything else because I was so impressing with one of my foods. the meatballs were solid, terrible pre-formed dinges, which were shaped into elongated balls, and were hard to bite meatballs instead of the soft mint style I had eaten in others. there was a lot of penne pasta and very little sauce also the restaurant was dark and appeared a little tired, not Indian for the experience I had previously had (fastly a while ago I confess) when I went to the near of the show nr batley, which was expensive, but inviting my sohn will be only once, and although he was glad that he had not disappointed the happy birthday. we have paid the full tip for the waitress because they gave a good service. Perhaps this is only this special restaurant, but because of our experience this time we would not eat here again."
