"We've had home deliveries from this establishment for quite some time now but this was the first order for a while.When I telephoned I asked for the meal for two at £27 to be delivered at 7.00 and gave the chap my address and postcode.As my wife wanted a dish she hadn't had before I asked for more information..he confirmed that both dishes were of medium heat. At 6.20 my intercom buzzed,it was a neighbour..the delivery had an address but no name.I told the guy that I wasn't happy but accepted delivery.When I looked at the food my wife's curry looked like a Korma(it was supposed to be a Special Matta)and was very bland..she refused to eat anymore as she said it was more like sweet custard!. After our meal(we shared my curry which was nothing special but ok) I called to voice my disappointment and the issues I'd had.The chap I spoke to was very apologetic but said they were too busy to do anything at the moment but he was keen get the owner(he was the guy who took the order)to telephone me to apologize and see how they could make amends...my phone has yet to ring. Don't know how this poor food and service has happened but,at the moment,I have no plans to give him my business again."

"for the first time I and my partner visited the seasoned quarter on a weekend trip to cardiff. the staff was happy and friendly. our waiter was very nice, he explained everything on the menu, pulled out our chairs for us. certain service with a smile. the food was absolutely delicious and there was a lot of it! we really enjoyed it. the only negatiw was that the drinks are very expensive and that eating is a bit expensive. but it was worth everything, and we would visit again!"

"Terrible really. It was busy. Shown to table and after mins had to grab a waiter to order a drink and popadoms. Drinks arrived. Food order given. Now half an hour gone. Couple on another table left, no service. Starter arrived, nice. Main course arrived after a further min wait ... chaos. Never seen such bad service in this restaurant. "The service is based on drinks as this was a buffetbooked this restaurant for a curry as it was the only one left on valentines night. Turned up and it was a buffet which was a shock as my girlfriend is gluten free. Luckily the manager was great and confirmed that all the food was made gluten free which was great for my girlfriend as we now have another restaurant to go to"

"cumin club are so friendly and helpful! I've been a loyal customer for years. for vegetarians there is so much choice and for vegan cumin club can vegan-ise their menu. I usually order the tasty beside dishes (kickbäse, spinat, kartoffeln, lentils-curry etc.) and chapati brot when I’m home with a takeaway (to collection.) but if there is in the restaurant, there is really so much choice and some really interesting dishes. always a winner and not too expensive! They can also modify the court to the loads of garlic (like I crazy for garlic) or make it more spicy etc. the restaurant is actually over 2 etagens, so its very rare that seating places are not available (except its Valentine's Day.. and even then they managed to press it without having booked in advance) try it, they will not be destroyed!"

"We are not locals but visit Epsom every few months and always take in an evening at this restaurant. In the past it has been excellent. However, this time it was a major disappointment. We arrived at 19.30 having made a booking. We finally received our meal at 21.00 some 1.5 hours after arriving. Not only that, the service was 'ridiculous ' for example, it took ages to get a beer, we asked for tap water for the table there were 4 of us after a while the waiter arrived with two glasses and we had to ask for another two. In addition, at times, the delivery guys were stood inside the restaurant which just looked messy. We were not the only ones receiving a slow service, others were almost pleading to be served. To us, it appeared that the restaurant prioritised greatly the deliveries as opposed to their inhouse customers. Once arrived, the food was delicious and we were offered complimentary drinks. The staff were friendly. I suggest the management take note of this review before their business really suffers."

"Proper traditional and authentic Indian cuisine. I have been fond of indian spices for as long as I remember and have been eating all around the nation, wherever possible. I must admit that this restaurant served the closest touch of real and authentic Indian taste so far. I loved the ambience of the venue, well decorated, neatly arranged and friendly staffs. "Struggled to find a BYOB during the festival that could accommodate our group of 10-but were lucky enough to get a table at Kebabish last night. Very busy restaurant which had a lot of other large groups in too. The menu is pretty hefty with a lot of grill and curry dishes to choose from. I had the Prawn puri and then chicken tawa. The puri was very nice, tasty sweet sauce. The tawa was good, my chicken was tender but there were far too many peppers to the amount of chicken which made me feel a bit cheated. Portion sizes are huge-the mixed grill left some of the group unable to finish. Butter chicken had a uce sauce but quite dry chicken. Service could have been quicker, 2 hours between starter and main isn't great. Would eat from there again, but probably not to sit in."
