"I had booked a table for lunch on a Saturday, but unfortunately my partner fell ill and could not join me. The restaurant was empty and I was the only guest for over 40-50 minutes, so there was not much ambiance. However, the tables were set beautifully and there was plenty of space. The menu was a bit different from other Indian restaurants, which I appreciated. The food was excellent - delicious, well-cooked, and very satisfying. My starter, the Murg Trio (chicken cooked in 3 different ways), was particularly tasty. For my main course, I had the prawn coconut curry with coconut rice, which was also delicious. The tiger prawn tails were still on, making it a bit tricky to eat, but they were so flavorful. I also tried the Garama Masala brûlée for dessert, which was a nice way to end the meal. With poppadoms, coffee, and a couple of glasses of wine, the bill came to £45, which I thought was great value for such a fantastic meal. I will definitely be coming back here again!"

good place for Indian food in cardiff. only I didn't like the seasoned one day, which is too hot. I've been there for a few years. Hopefully it's better now for Indian Verities .

My go to Indian restaurant when in center of Cardiff. They do more traditional Indian dishes. My Madras could of been hotter in spice levels. Beer when waiting, Madras, bindi, pilau rice and naan bread for around £26. Nice decor and friendly staff.

We as a group of 6 people went there 2 days in a row (Saturday Sunday 1st time we took our chances, but it paid off, place is nice and clean, service was good, staff were polite and friendly, BUT more importantly the food was excellent not spicy or oily at all, Nan and chapatis were cooked perfectly well. Highly recommend this place

I have been here a couple of times and I have really enjoyed the ambience and the food. As we are students away from home, we crave for home food quiet a lot and this has been my go to place. I really like the lasooni naan with murg chilli as a main and the samosas for a starter. All the cocktails are really amazing. We need to really appreciate their presentation and hospitality.

for the first time I and my partner visited the seasoned quarter on a weekend trip to cardiff. the staff was happy and friendly. our waiter was very nice, he explained everything on the menu, pulled out our chairs for us. certain service with a smile. the food was absolutely delicious and there was a lot of it! we really enjoyed it. the only negatiw was that the drinks are very expensive and that eating is a bit expensive. but it was worth everything, and we would visit again!
