"the employees of venue5 have no service. from here ordered to the mothers day, not only the food was cold, the whole meal did not arrive. I called the restaurant that then went on to tell me that they couldn't deliver my food as they were busy and that I should call back the next day to sort the thing. ruining maternal meal, with not enough food and more money to spend at other place for eating. the foods were overpriced for the product obtained. it was over a week and nothing was done because nobody obviously had the autority to refund my money back. they told me that I was contacted by the man about this matter. who always seems to be busy and not want...read more"

"The food is good, when it is fresh. I go there for an occasional Dosa and Vada. On a number of occasions they have served stale chutneys and dosa filling. Yesterday, the dosa arrived within a minute of ordering and it was cold to touch. I asked them to replace it. The replacement was warm but not crisp. I ordered Vada for takeaway. Since they were busy and taking time to bring the check, I opened the package and decided to eat it. The chutneys were clearly a few days old. The excuse they gave was that they get packed in the morning (not). They then brought the fresh chutneys. I was not delighted paying £22. It’s a hit and miss. I would say insist on bringing fresh food if you find it stale or cold. There is no other accessible place for Dosa, so when I am craving it, I’m forced to go there and hope it will be fresh."

"Not one to write a bad review (and I’ve been a Gail’s regular for 4 years) but this was my first time at this branch having moved to the area and the staff actually really just p*ssed me off. Ordered a breakfast tea, for which I wasn’t given a spoon so I went back to the counter to ask for one and he (long ish brown hair, quite tall) gave me a table spoon and huffed when I said actually i need a teaspoon for tea please. No apology obvs. Then when I sat down I realised they’d given me earl grey tea instead of breakfast tea. I politely told them and they tried to tell me that a breakfast tea is actually earl grey but they would swap it for me as a favour essentially. Sat back down and realised they’d given me earl grey AGAIN. I went back up to the counter and said I promise I’m not being difficult but that’s not breakfast tea. They literally laughed at me and basically gaslit me saying it’s breakfast tea and they couldn’t do anything else for me. I asked them to compare the smell of the tea leaves with an English breakfast tea bag, to which they laughed together and said some numpty has mixed up the tea leaves. Still no apology, just rudeness and finally got a mug with a tea bag in but no pot. I actually never want to return to this branch. Given me a good reason to use independent coffee shops more.."

"I had a great time at Masala Gallery. The Long Island Spiced Tea Cocktail was impressive and the food was excellent. The butter naan was some of the best I've ever had - light and fluffy. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The large TV channels added to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely visit again. The only downside was limited parking spaces."

"I dined in with three others on February 3, 2022, and had a wonderful experience. The venue was clean, and the ambiance and decor were impressive. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious from the starters all the way through to dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to dine there again. Well done!"

"First time at Tapasya so.... Booked for a Monday evening and as expected, and like most restaurants, will always be quiet, however, three tables covered so some 'atmosphere ', the staff were very attentive and friendly, and the food really was delicious. Unlike most Indian restaurants the menu is quite small, so they can make sure each dish is very good and freshly prepared. The web image is for 'Indian fine dining '. Yes, it certainly seems to be! I haven 't tasted Indian food as good as this for a very long time, nor had napkins placed on my lap in any Indian restaurant! The waitresses just glide up to your table and replenish your drinks without you realising they have been there. Will definitely return in the near future, good stuff."

"A decent Indian restaurant! I always want to try this because every time I came by, the delicious curry can smell. After all, the restaurant is less busy today. We had the seafood sharing dish as starter, and we also had the chicken Shahi corma and lamb shark sultani, along with garlic naan. The garlic naan is very good! Not too oily Also the stuff is really friendly! He recommended to try the plaster, it is very Crispy and goes well with the sauce. Overall, it is a very good dinner experience!"

"Stumbled across this amazing cafe on walk back to car and majority of their handmade ice creams were vegan (not the boring magnums all the other places in Windsor offered). Had chocolate, strawberry, lemon etc. Also offered dairy free milk, savoury food and vegan cakes/ goodies including banana bread and brownies so I highly recommend to any vegan visiting Windsor you won't find anywhere with more options . The owners are so lovely and friendly and are so knowledgeable on vegan food so it's a breeze!"

"I had booked a table for lunch on a Saturday, but unfortunately my partner fell ill and could not join me. The restaurant was empty and I was the only guest for over 40-50 minutes, so there was not much ambiance. However, the tables were set beautifully and there was plenty of space. The menu was a bit different from other Indian restaurants, which I appreciated. The food was excellent - delicious, well-cooked, and very satisfying. My starter, the Murg Trio (chicken cooked in 3 different ways), was particularly tasty. For my main course, I had the prawn coconut curry with coconut rice, which was also delicious. The tiger prawn tails were still on, making it a bit tricky to eat, but they were so flavorful. I also tried the Garama Masala brûlée for dessert, which was a nice way to end the meal. With poppadoms, coffee, and a couple of glasses of wine, the bill came to £45, which I thought was great value for such a fantastic meal. I will definitely be coming back here again!"

"The nicest halal Indian restaurant I've been to in a very long time. Firstly the kids menu was the best I've seen, 4 short chicken skewers with rice, a drink and ice-cream for £9. It was a very generous portion. We selected a range from the menu: the butter chicken was spicy more of tikka masala but excellent nevertheless, chicken biryani oddly didn't have any vegetables yet still hit the spot, lamb shank melted in the mouth, aubergine dish was a nice veggie addition. Sticky toffee pudding with caramel ice-cream... wow! Two please. Nice ending to the evening was that service charge was not added, a nice surprise. Excellent friendly waiters. I've been to Gordon Ramsay next door and I have to say this place is 200x better. Would definitely go back. Recommended."

"I booked a table for 17.45 on Mother’s Day to take my wife for a meal. When we arrived the guy at the end of the counter couldn’t find our booking so he said something about ‘Did you get a text from us?’ which I’ve never had when booking through Opentable. He then said they were full and basically made me feel like I was in the wrong . He was rude, aggressive and arrogant. We have been to Kiplings twice before always booking through Opentable and never had an issue. We won’t be going again. Shambles."
"The food was delicious, but there was some confusion between the online menus and the paper menu. It seems that the paper menu was different because it was their festive menu. Options labeled as vegan on the online menu were listed as vegetarian on the paper menu. When I inquired about this discrepancy and asked for confirmation on which dishes were vegan, the server had to consult with a colleague and eventually provided me with a paper copy of the vegan menu. It seemed there were communication issues as he initially began discussing the chicken section of the menu. Despite the confusion, the food arrived quickly and I enjoyed it. However, I would have preferred a smoother experience without the added stress and uncertainty regarding menu options."

"The service is based on drinks as this was a buffetbooked this restaurant for a curry as it was the only one left on valentines night. Turned up and it was a buffet which was a shock as my girlfriend is gluten free. Luckily the manager was great and confirmed that all the food was made gluten free which was great for my girlfriend as we now have another restaurant to go to"

"I have to start by saying how the staff are always smiling. They 're friendly and have some great recommendations. Moving onto the food, we ordered the chaat platter, chilli paneer and prawns from the tandoor clay oven. I was disappointed by the paani Puri it lacked the tang and explosion of taste you expect, instead it had a very bland and lacked flavour. However the rest of the items on the platter were absolutely fabulous!! Fresh, crunchy, tangy, tasty, flavourful. Everything you expect from a chaat platter. I could have ordered another 2 (without the paani Puri) The chilli paneer was one of the best I 've had! The tandoor clay oven prawns were perfectly cooked and had the right amount of 'tandoor ' taste however the marinate flavour was lacking. Mains veg Kolhapuri.... Oh my gosh!!!! No words can describe how amazing this was and how is it was possible to make veg taste like it did!!! It was absolutely divine!!! We ate it with garlic naan, that too was fab.. it was rolled to the right thinness and had the absolute perfect amount of garlic and butter!! An absolute treat. I should mention as we ate others sat around us on other tables just couldn 't stop complementing the foods they had ordered! So I 'm definitely going back to taste the other items! Desserts gulab jamun and pistachio kulfi ... At first glance the gulab jaman looked lost in the bowl it was presented in, the syrup was way too thin and the 2 balls were too small. However, the taste.... I don 't think I 've had better. Some improvement required in the presentation and with the syrup .. but the taste 5 5 .. amazing! The pistachio kulfi I expect frozen... But ... We couldn 't dig in... Waited almost 25 30mins for it to soften ... Once it did once again the taste was everything you expect... Another 5 5. However does require some thinking to ensure the customer doesn 't leave with a brain freeze instead of the flavoursome taste. We enjoyed multiple drinks including mango lassi, lemonade and mint tea all of which were fab.. even the mango lassi was the perfect consistency however it comes with ice which when melted affects the taste of the lassi (server should ask if the customer would like or not I wasn 't given an option) I 'm going back!! And I definitely recommend!!"

"Why we visited Sampan Bromley? We have been looking for a restaurant to have Sunday Buffet lunch at reasonable price and with many items to taste. We have seen few other restaurants around Bromley do the Buffet but we selected this restaurant as the picture(on the website) provided in Buffet section is tempting and looks like there are many items Actual Experience: When we arrived there, we were shocked. Here is why 1) Less than 11 items in Buffet and that was including Salad items. Here were the items: Here are the items: Starters: a) Salads (too basic) b) Chicken tikka (taste 3 out of 5) c) Lamb sheikh kebab (taste 3 out of 5) d) Onion bhajji (taste cold and soggy so, 2 out of 5) Main Course: a) Naan(plain and dry) and Rice b) Shaag Aloo (taste 3.5 out of 5) c) veg jalfrezi (taste 2 out of 5) d) Chicken tikka masala (taste horrible as an Indian, never seen chicken tikka masala with coconut 0 out of 5) e) Chicken masala (taste 2 out of 5) f) Rogan ghos(lamb) (taste 3.5 out of 5) Dessert: a) Fruits(gapes, pineapple , melons) does it call dessert? Not Sure 2) No chutneys or sauces are available for starters 3) Taste wise, the items are not close to Authentic Indian dishes 4) Shocked to see that there is no Dessert item Overall Food Rating: 2 out of 5 We strongly Believe that This Restaurant is. NOT TO TRY"

"It's incredible to find authentic Indian cuisine in the UK. The food isn't artificially colored or overly spiced, showing the care and attention of the owners and staff. The restaurant even offers activities for children to enjoy and is known for its friendly and entertaining service. Overall, it was a fantastic night out with great value for money and generous portion sizes."

"Lovely service and food. I think many people forget that different Indian restaurant/takeaways cook food differently and that’s why not all curries or meals tasted the same as others. The service was brilliant and i was advised on what to get and really enjoyed it. The deserts where also lovey. Lots of options and service was quick even as the food is made fresh to order. Definitely returning and definitely worth a try."

"Good food, authentic taste, fantastic place to eat out with family and friends. I had a great experience however what did bother me though was the manager at woodlands on Sunday 17th. He was so rude to the girl serving us and to this lady who was walking aided by her assistant and a stick. She was trying to go to the restroom and cause woodlands Marylebone doesn't have a wheelchair access toilet she had to climb a few stairs! With much difficulty due to her condition she was trying to do this and her assistant and grandchild were helping. This manager in a slightly loud stern tone asked them to close the toilet door, asked her assistant grandchild to leave the area. I was appalled at...read more"

"We booked a table for 4 for 7.30pm, arrived 7.25 and it took 20 mins. to get severed for drinks. It got worse! We were finally shown to the table of a 20% full restaurant and 25mins later finally had the head waiter ask if he could take our order...with an attitude as if he was doing us a favour... We were so put off by the dirty, 'sticky ' tables and v slow service we told the waiter we were leaving, paid for our drinks and left. Never again will we go back!"

"The restaurant was terrible from start to finish. The food was flavourless, presentation poor and was way too over priced. Parts of my Halibut were burnt and other parts undercooked. The naan was undercooked also. Was expecting to take my partner to a great Indian and ended up with a poor meal and we were both still hungry after. There’s nothing traditional about any of the dishes we ate. Felt cheated. Didn’t even bother looking at dessert"
