"We ordered a meal for 4 to celebrate our daughter's birthday and the first meeting for some months with her and her husband they live in the midlands and we live in Epsom. The meal was not delivered by the time stated we were under time pressure because they were driving home in the evening. When we rang we found they had delivered our meal to the wrong house. We went there (a few doors away) and could smell indian food but no one would come to the door. We had been charged over £60 and we then asked for a refund. By this time it was an hour later the restaurant hung up when we called again to say we couldn't retrieve our food. Our daughter and son in law had to return home ruining what had been a lovely day and her birthday celebration. Then my husband and I went to Khans to get a refund. They said they had our order ready but we explained our guests had now gone home and we wanted a full refund. After some argument including first of all saying this was not possible because we had ordered online they did refund our credit card and admitted that their driver had misread the number of our house. However, it was now quite late in the evening and they made no other concession other than the refund for the food we never received. Shocking service I know it was a mistake but having cooked the food you would have thought they might have had the decency to give us one of the dishes too. We have lived in Epsom for over 30 years and often used this restaurant under its various names but will not be doing so again unless there is a change of management. The irony is that our daughter and son in law ordered an indian takeaway to be delivered at their home for when they arrived after a 2 hour drive and so they were greeted with hot food when they got home. I had some sandwiches which were left from our picnic lunch Thank you Khans for completely wrecking our day."

In town on business went in on my own they was very polite and the chicken tikka masala was beautiful with the freshly made naan bread. Would highly recommend.

Shocked re wine… as we got to pour another glass of Chenin noticed a LOT of sediment in our glasses … and also in bottle. Then realised drinking a bottle of Sauvignon… I hate Sauvignon… even it’s smell!!! Yet hadn’t experienced Sauvignon… then realised red wine was NOT what was ordered!!! Visited with a group to celebrate a 50th birthday party. Having never been before I didn't really know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken tikka which was so succulent and the portion size was decent for the price. Hubby had the fish curry which was amazing. Service was a bit slow but then we were in a large group and I appreciate it takes time to cook food from scratch. It was worth the wait that's for sure. We were going on to see a concert later, but were having dinner before going. We arrived in Epsom hoping to find something a bit mor upmarket than MacDonalds and were very pleasantly surprised. My wife does like a Vindaloo, although I prefer the Milder dishes such as Rogan gosh or Jalfreizi . There was quite a selection of various types of curry. As it was mid week , we were the only customers there when we walked in, but the decor was very sylish , and the music was authentic Indian music , which did enhance the ambience . We are not locals but visit Epsom every few months and always take in an evening at this restaurant. In the past it has been excellent. However, this time it was a major disappointment. We arrived at 19.30 having made a booking. We finally received our meal at 21.00 some 1.5 hours after arriving. Not only that, the service was 'ridiculous ' for example, it took ages to get a beer, we asked for tap water for the table there were 4 of us after a while the waiter arrived with two glasses and we had to ask for another two. In addition, at times, the delivery guys were stood inside the restaurant which just looked messy. We were not the only ones receiving a slow service, others were almost plead...
