"I purchased a groupon voucher. First time I tried to use it I booked a table for two over the phone. No problem they booked me in for the specified time. But when I said I had a groupon voucher I was told I could only use it on a quiet night, not the night which I had already booked for. Ok. So I rebooked for a 'quiet night '. When we arrived it was empty. We were the only people there. We ordered drinks and food. Food was mediocre. Quality rather than quantity, not what I would expect from an Indian restaurant. I would compare it to Iceland frozen curry. We didn 't complain but decided we wouldn 't bother with dessert. The Manager knew we were using a groupon voucher before we ordered however when we wanted to pay and I showed him the photo of the groupon voucher on my phone complete with barcode, Security code and groupon code he scrutinised every detail on it. He said there was no date on it and said to me that people try to use vouchers which are out of date. I then had to point out to him the valid date on it. Then he said we should have printed it out. Then he messed about trying to take a photo of it with his own phone. Then he said I had to give him my phone number in case there was a 'problem ' with the voucher. It was really very awkward. Almost as though he just didn 't want to redeem it. I have used groupon before and I know how to use the groupon voucher code and merchants have never had a problem taking the details off my phone before. I had already read several reviews about the spice centre bad customer service but I had decided to purchase the groupon voucher anyway. I really wished I hadn 't. I won 't go again and will warn everyone I know not to waste their time or money on the Spice centre."

"The service was excellent, but we waited for 40 minutes without realizing it. The delivery driver claimed he knocked on the door, but he didn't. Our two dogs were going crazy! However, the food was returned and it was delicious. Thank you for the prompt second delivery. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable."

"The food is good, when it is fresh. I go there for an occasional Dosa and Vada. On a number of occasions they have served stale chutneys and dosa filling. Yesterday, the dosa arrived within a minute of ordering and it was cold to touch. I asked them to replace it. The replacement was warm but not crisp. I ordered Vada for takeaway. Since they were busy and taking time to bring the check, I opened the package and decided to eat it. The chutneys were clearly a few days old. The excuse they gave was that they get packed in the morning (not). They then brought the fresh chutneys. I was not delighted paying £22. It’s a hit and miss. I would say insist on bringing fresh food if you find it stale or cold. There is no other accessible place for Dosa, so when I am craving it, I’m forced to go there and hope it will be fresh."

"On the main road as you head out of Marlow to the East. There is a public car park opposite that you can park. The restaurant is small, well decorated, subdued lighting. The team are professional, polite and attend to every need and request. Everything is clean and tidy. The food is amazing. Portions are not huge, but more than ample is you have a set menu (lunchtime). There is a significant list of beverages to meet anyones tastes and wallet. We even asked for a desert to take home. We are already planning another trip very soon the food was so good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I visited the restaurant with a large group and the service was exceptional—extremely attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding; I truly feel this is authentic Indian cuisine at its best. Every dish we had throughout the meal was flawless, showcasing incredible flavors and a perfect balance of spices. While it's not the cheapest option, it offers fine dining at a very high standard. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit. For vegetarians: there are plenty of dishes that cater to your needs. As for parking, there is ample space available within The Grove estate."

"The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and the staff are very attentive. However, the decor is lacking in coziness and inspiration. The atmosphere feels a bit sterile, like a dull dentist's waiting room. During my visit in the middle of winter, I felt a constant draft from either the air conditioning or the door. "The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. We attended pre concert and chose the concert menu. The appetisers came within minutes of ordering, there wasn't a lot for the price. The mains we had to wait over 45 minutes for which was not good and we kept being told it was on the way. The food when it came was average curry really. It had obviously been cooked in a huge batch as it was on the set menu so not sure why it took so long. The service was not great...we were never asked if the food was ok or if we wanted another drink. We only had Coke and this was rather expensive at £3 for a tiny bottle.... Overall i think the place is very nice but the food was average at best and the service poor. The set menu was £25 per person which was not value for what you actually got. We saw a 10% service charge on our bill which we asked to be removed. Tried it, but wouldn't go back again."

"not to find the simplest place, but an absolute pearl when they do. the inner is very clean, modern in styling and welcoming. from our experience the service was from the beginning attentive, friendly and fast, but without being overwhelming. the quality of the food was delivered in good time excellent, fresh and hot. and especially it was very delicious. the choice of crying is also a plus point. overall a great experience and we will not hesitate to go back. highly recommended. "We stopped by for lunch while exploring the area. At first, I thought the restaurant was closed because it was so quiet, but the manager greeted us warmly. We ordered some Bombay-style snacks to nibble on, and they were quite spicy (I usually avoid spicy foods), but very enjoyable nonetheless. My partner's chicken starter was a bit too salty for our taste (we try to limit salt for health reasons), but the chef came over to chat with us and generously offered to prepare another chicken starter right away. He also adjusted our mains to suit our preferences. The mango lassi was delicious, as was the virgin piña colada. The portion sizes were great too (pictures were taken after we finished eating)."

"We got our food via Uber Eats, the speed of delivery and service was very impressive and food arrived piping hot! But unfortunately the food is so sweet, my wife got the Korma which we know is a sweeter dish, but this was far too sweet. The tikka Masala sauce was lovely but the chicken for me was rather dry too. However there was a generous portion of meat to sauce ratio and you could tell the chicken was nicely marinated. Also our Saag Paneer was sugar heaven too, I've never had it so sweet and coconuty, it was as though it basically had the Korma sauce in it too. Unfortunately the first time we ordered here was 2019, and we got sent the most bland food, it was like the spices wasn't added in if I'm honest. We tried again and as much the flavour was there, it was far too sweet."

"We dined as a group of eight on a Sunday to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and the food was just average. There was only one other party of three in the restaurant at the same time, so I’m puzzled as to why everything took so long. "Although it was New Year’s Eve, when we arrived, it was clear that the booking hadn’t been transferred from the app to the book by the restaurant and as such we were seated over 35 minutes late. The table was not in a great position as it was in the way of the route to the toilet, but not really a major issue. Apart from when the food was brought to the table, there was no interaction with anyone from the restaurant. I had to chase for additional drinks and for a cloth to clean the table after the starters. Food was good and no complaints there."

"Was recommended this place by a friend. We have used Cafe Indus but this place just shines far brighter. Staff we’re all really friendly, attentive and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. But the food was fantastic especially the garlic chilli lamb, and vegetable Karai. Thr poppadums, pickle tray, bhajis, rice and breads were all delicious. "Food was amazing.Couldnt find any fault with the food.But the wait was ridiculous.for over an hour.One of our dishes was given first and had to wait for the rest of the stuffs again. Even though the staff apologized for it as there were short of staff .But what we noticed was that one of the families who came after was given the food earlier than us.They were given even glasses to drink water while we had to ask for a bottled water finally. I would say the customer service wasn't that great .but may get food from here as takeout."

"Went here on a group curry night and had such a great evening. I had booked online and got a courtesy call 2 days before to check all is good. When we arrived there was friendly staff who greeted us and showed us to our table where our drinks order was taken and was informed of 2 for 1 on cocktails till 19:30 which we took advantage of. The venue looks very authentic and you can see the chefs preparing the food. The food came out in good time despite it being very busy on our visit and came in good portion sizes. The food was so tasty and flavoursome and had the right amount of spice and not overdone on the chilli's. I would recommend booking for a Saturday night as was near capacity, but staff cope effortlessly and food was coming out in good time............I would definitely return here again."

"find fantastic wee. great service great price I moved away last year and returned to the opposite and when I came back here, I remembered how fabulous it was. others in the opposite attempt, but this is by far the best. superior service, they bring a sizzler to table that contains freshly cooked chicken ctikka and chicken chat that this friendly feeling. the personal is great and eating is always amazing wants to visit her here at least twice in the month love it, love it, love it 5 stars"
