"my rating is for the wro loft. our family, after the funeral of my sister, held a celebration of life in loft. it is a very pleasant room with access to the balcony. we were able to use the balcony as it was a nice sunny day. we had a tasty selection of foods, including sandwiches, chips, spring rolls and chicken pusions with some really delicious dives. the personal was beautiful and friendly. highly recommended for all different types of functions. I was thrown a surprise 50th birthday party a couple of years ago on the loft, which was fabulous."

"When we brought up the issue, the manager only took off half the cost of the pudding. When we asked for the rest of the pudding to be removed from the bill as well (which was £17), my husband explained it was due to the poor service we received. The manager then returned with the other half of the pudding cost in loose change, which we found to be a complete insult. We have never been so offended, and after speaking to friends who also agreed that the restaurant has declined in quality, we believe a staff overhaul is necessary. It's a shame, as before Covid, it used to be a friendly restaurant with consistently good food."

"A real gem tucked on the corner in Shirley. I've lived in the area for a couple of years now and am always walking down the main road to get to the CoOp, but I hadn't noticed Romeo on the corner until last week. I had a look at the menu from outside and liked the look of it so decided to book a table on Friday night. It is a very small restaurant, with even less tables due to Covid, but the lighting was cozy and the music made it a really nice atmosphere.I ordered one of their pizzas after being recommended by a member of staff, and my girlfriend ordered the pumpkin ravioli. The food was amazing, especially for the price. The only thing I would say is that the portion size for the ravioli was maybe a little small, but would be fine if you ordered a starter as well.I would recommend to anyone thinking of coming here and will definitely be coming back.Thank you"

"We were surprised to find that, for a busy Friday night in central Edinburgh, the place was very quiet. Only two other tables of two. We were a noisy party of six and realised we had taken over the place! Caffe Centro feels very authentically Italian ... and is, as the name suggests, more cafe than restaurant. However the staff were great, the typically Italian food was REALLY excellent proper home cooking. Bar stock, and wine list also pretty good. We were each given a Limoncello, on the house, at the end of our dinner, which was a lovely touch. Our group hadn 't planned to 'make a night of it ' as had early plans for the next morning, but just as well, as the place was closing at ten and it did become obvious that the staff were keen to get away home! We loved our time there, and will definitely return. We would also recommend it as a good, city centre venue... but would stress the 'caffe ' part a plush restaurant it isn 't, but we did feel we had just spent a few hours in Italy!"

"We were staying in Prestbury for a wedding so decided to make a weekend of it and celebrate our own wedding anniversary as well we booked in on Friday night. We were originally seated inside but asked to move to the semi outside area and that was no trouble for the staff they were more than happy to accommodate us. The waitress were excellent, very helpful with the menu and friendly. Olga was our main server and she was just fab... we all loved her. In our opinion all restaurant should have servers like her. For starters we had a mixed fish platter although it said for 2 it easily feed 3 of us and we also had 1 portion of calamari, for the mains we had a pizza, Pan Roasted Salmon, lasagna and Roast Pork Fillet Stuffed with Spinach all flippin gorgeous! the wine, again very good and a good choice. We were all too full for a dessert but I was I wasn't as I think I would have wanted to try each one on the menu! Really couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough."

"We (family of four with a teen pre-teen are staying in Childswickham just outside Broadway for a weeks holiday so thought we’d try the Childswickham Inn Brasserie as we could walk there through the pretty village, it has great reviews and it’s dog friendly. We booked for a Friday evening and were given our choice of tables in the very pretty garden area. Everything about the place is wonderful. The pub itself is a lovely country style inn with a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor area is beautiful with a lit pergola under canvas canopies and very comfortable chairs and roomy tables. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and made a fuss of our two Labradors. The food was superb. Honestly some of the best traditional-but-next-level pub fare we’ve ever had. I had the pie of the day which was lamb, husband had Cumberland sausages and the kids had burgers. All completely homemade, served quickly, fresh piping hot and with generous portions. Husband suffered from extreme pie envy when he tasted my dish! We couldn’t resist the puds so opted for sticky toffee puddings and chocolate brownie. Again, all homemade, generously portioned and utterly delicious. The food was so good we decided to spend our final meal here and opted for Sunday lunch. We all had sirloin of beef which were served with the best (and biggest! Yorkshire puddings we’ve ever had. We’re from Yorkshire and we know a perfect Yorkie when we see (and taste one and these deserve the highest praise. The beef was perfectly cooked, thickly cut and it melted in the mouth. It was served with a generous portion of roast potatoes, cheesy leeks (a personal favourite! , a selection of perfectly cooked veg lovely rich gravy. Desserts were equally fabulous. Genuinely up there with the best food we’ve ever eaten and exceptionally good value. I just wish it was closer to home as we’d be returning constantly! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Perfect food, wonderful service, lovely ambience and surroundings and great value, more than deserving of five stars. Thank you for two wonderful visits, you were a highlight of our holiday!"

"Had a very nice meal late Saturday afternoon and managed to get the benefit of the 3 tapas for £9.99. So we had 9 plates between us both along with wine then finished off with sweet, then cocktails. The ambiance was very good and typically Spanish tapas style and very busy 4-5pm. The food was tasty and their cocktails spot on with friendly and bustling staff. The only downside was that an additional tapas plate and 2 drinks that we didn’t have were included in the bill. This should not happen with electronic real time ordering and check out. So check your bill carefully."

"We were looking for a good Italian restaurant and we were recommended Il Girasole.by some colleagues. We had some starters tomato based (melanzana alla patmiggiana and shrimps in you’ve tomato): the tomato was very acid so not cooked long enough and not seasoned. The melanzana alla prmisggiana, could not been alla parmigiana as there was no test of or is a cheese. More likely a restless cheese. The pizza base were hard and dry. The 4 formaggi pizza had strange cheeses and not the one stated in the menu. The marinara pizza was very salty probably the cheap tuna. Marinara pizza in served with fish. Marinara pizza is made of pizza base, tomato sauce, oregano, olive oil and basil leaves. Never heard of marinara pizza with fish. I doubt the owner or chef are Italian or have Italian origins. I do. 25 April Italian liberation from the German in 1943. No flags in the restaurant to celebrate that important day for the freedom of Italy and democracy. Domino pizza (a chain of resta) is better quality."

"I’ve always loved pizza express and we haven’t visited for quite some time! The pizza is always beautiful, however when asking for an extra ingredient to find out there was only 3 of said ingredient on pizza which you pay £2.50 for is not acceptable! Stop being stingy with your ingredients that we pay for! When I asked the waiter for more he didn’t seem happy to say the least! Also the kids desserts seem to have gone downhill, a small very hard brownie on the worlds tiniest plate, no strawberries on the side as ‘ran out’ and had to ask multiple times for the baby chino which comes with it! Not great really, I feel most wouldn’t ask for it so they just think we’ll skip it and if they ask, make it! We used to be a frequent visitor of PE before Covid and COL hit! And things like this just make me not want to visit again!"

"We go here regularly and have never had an issue, in fact my mother in law, son and myself have been coming for breakfast most Saturdays since my son was born and he is now 8. We mostly have the same, three croissants, two teas and a coke. Today there was apprently no fig jam and the croissants were picked straight from the counter and served, not even warmed. Very small details but that's what makes it a nice experience. Also we normally have one member of staff serving us, today it was one of four and even though it wasn't that busy we had to fight for their attention. Just not the service or quality we love"

"As a regular customer of rhubarb I was extremely upset to of received such shocking customer service this morning. Myself an partner came for breakfast at 9am and firstly ordered a coffee whilst taking an important phone call we both needed to listen to and so placed the call on speaker as there was not one other person in the building other than the member of staff that greeted us we did not see this as a problem. Throughout the call we were asked 3 times if we were eating and what we wanted to which we replied we were not yet ready to order. Shortly after the member of staff asked us very abruptly to switch off the speaker, to which my partner replied for whom exactly? (As we were the only people there and the music was blaring we could hardly hear ourselves think). She then replied for me!! Shocked at this we decided not to stay for breakfast and instead go down the road to milo (which was lovely and could not fault service). As we paid for our coffees i said to the woman she was in the wrong line of work as she didn’t offer good customer service to which she replied take you private phone calls somewhere else! In shock at how she spoke to us my partner said we would be leaving a review to which she replied she could not wait to read it and shoved us out the door. Not quite sure what the attitude or problem was for maybe woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but said to say will not be returning again and I will look forward to speaking directly with the owner myself."

"My husband, son, and I recently visited San Giovanni's for the first time since before the COVID lockdown, and we were thrilled to be able to enjoy a sit-down meal experience once again. Although we have been ordering takeout meals, there is just something special about sitting around a table together. It was my 65th birthday, and this dinner was a wonderful treat. We started with garlic bread and a variety of appetizers, including tender spare ribs, meatballs, and calamari. For our main courses, I had a delicious fillet steak stroganoff with rice, my husband tried the linguine al gamberoni, and my son enjoyed his favorite, lobster ravioli. We finished off with affogato for dessert, our go-to Italian treat. We enjoyed a selection of drinks including a mojito cocktail, beer, and a lovely bottle of wine with our meals. The total bill came to a reasonable £191. One small issue was that our online reservation did not receive an acknowledgement, so we called to confirm our booking. While it was not a problem for a quiet Thursday evening, it could be disappointing on a busier night or special occasion. I would recommend calling to book in the future. Overall, it was a fantastic evening and we highly recommend San Giovanni's."
