"What a find this restaurant is, it is simply remarkable. Firstly its a BYO restaurant (bring your own bottle, if you want to drink alcohol , that of course is appealing but it is the service and of course the food that is the star. Sabri the owner is the perfect host, warm, funny and nothing is too much trouble. He and his staff really go out of the way to make you feel at home and to help you with your meal choice. The food itself is wonderful, I went twice in 2 weeks with different friends and everyone said the same. Mouthwatering, amazing food. If you are bringing your own alcohol, Sabri and his staff will provide you with a wine cooler if you need one. The restaurant closes at around 10pm but during the whole evening you are never rushed with anything. I will definitely be going back with more friends in 2024 and can't wait. Well done Sabri and his team. Simply astounding."

"I made a reservation for my husband's 60th birthday at the Fig restaurant, specifically requesting a nice table. I called twice to confirm. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the restaurant was closed for a private function and were seated behind the noisy bar instead. The bartender was throwing empties into a bin, which was very distracting. This was not the experience I had booked or was willing to pay for. We decided to leave without even sitting down. I called the Duty manager, who promised to look into the matter, but I am still waiting for a response."

"Food was great and so was the view but service was really lacking. There were 5/6 people on shift but none of them had any real interest in serving. I had to get up twice to ask for milk and then the bill. Real shame as everything else was great!"

"We had purchased the afternoon tea for two, which included a signature cocktail for everyone. However, when we inquired about what was included, we were told it was just a glass of prosecco. I was taken aback because I had specifically noted it was supposed to be a cocktail. When the afternoon tea arrived, the presentation was lovely, and the cakes were delicious. However, the sandwiches were more like regular lunch sandwiches rather than the traditional finger sandwiches you'd expect for afternoon tea. Although the ambiance was pleasantly quiet, my main focus was on the poor quality of customer service throughout the visit."
