Celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday with family. We had such an amazing time! The atmosphere, food, decor and our host Sabri were just superb! Probably one of the best places in Brighton to celebrate a special occasion (or just casually enjoying great food) Highly recommend!

What a great restaurant. I booked for a birthday meal and from the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. We were shown to a beautiful, cosy booth with opulent decor. What an incredible evening! Right from the start when I was booking the table, the owner Sabri treated me like the most special guest. Nothing was too much and he was so interested about the event, what we were looking for, what he could offer. And boy did he deliver… The atmosphere was so welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was so attentive. There’s not one thing I could say to make the experience better. We had the most amazing evening, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!! Will definitely be back soon

After reading reviews online Sahara definitely delivered. The downstairs seating area at the back of the restaurant takes you inside a North African eatery, it is beautifully decorated and makes you feel like you are back in Morocco. We had the chicken wings and spicy lamb sausage for starters which were so moreish. For mains we had the sultans mixed kebab and lamb chops Both were unreal, the meat was soo soft and seasoned beautifully. The Host was also very welcoming. Overall, Sahara is a must if you are looking for a North African experience. We left thinking how impressed we were with the atmosphere and experience.

What a find this restaurant is, it is simply remarkable. Firstly its a BYO restaurant (bring your own bottle, if you want to drink alcohol , that of course is appealing but it is the service and of course the food that is the star. Sabri the owner is the perfect host, warm, funny and nothing is too much trouble. He and his staff really go out of the way to make you feel at home and to help you with your meal choice. The food itself is wonderful, I went twice in 2 weeks with different friends and everyone said the same. Mouthwatering, amazing food.
