Located on the corner of Newman Street and Goodge Street, it's perfect for a meal out with friends or a romantic dinner for two. With two floors, it's a stylish, bustling and intimate venue, with a team of welcoming waitstaff who make you feel right at home. "Afternoon Tea. It took 40 mins before we were served a pot of tea, which was half full and lukewarm. We asked for a full pot of hot tea, they then served a full pot of tea (for two people) with only one tea bag, so it was very weak. They apologised and brought a decent pot of tea. At the 60 minute point we were discussing whether we should leave. Shortly after we received the scones and small cakes, but had to wait a further 5 minutes for the sandwiches, jam and cream. The sandwiches were small triangles on ordinary cheap bread. The cream portion was tiny enough for 1 scone, we were given 4 scones so had to ask for more cream. The jam was more like runny syrup. The scones were all plain unlike the advertised fruit and plain. The other cakes were fine but tiny. This was our 2nd afternoon tea here. We enjoyed our 1st visit but after our 2nd experience we will not be returning."

"Looking for a meal cooked by a Michelin star chef? We were impressed by this restaurant and gave it high ratings. While dining here can be expensive, is it worth it? In my opinion, yes! We ordered the Roasted Cumbrian Herdwick lamb rump with coco beans, aubergine, tamarind, sheep milk ricotta, and lamb fat. This isn't a place I would frequent regularly, but rather somewhere I would go to celebrate a special occasion, such as a promotion."

"Great little restaurant. The menu is extensive and food is delicious. Cuisine is not Greek/Mediterranean as stated on this website, there are a wide range of tasty salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, main meals, desserts and breakfast options. "I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"We went for afternoon tea. The service was good, and there was a good quantity of sandwiches and scones, but the cakes were a little uninspiring. Even with a 241 offer, it still came to £70 for 2 with a glass of champagne. There are better teas for better value, and the surroundings, despite the live music (hidden behind a pillar for most diners) are not fantastic. It feels very much like the breakfast room in a corporate hotel, rather than a special afternoon treat place."

"We booked a table at Kindred as we were seeing a show at the Eventim Apollo. kindred was very easy to find from Hammersmith station. Only a 2 min walk. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was approximately 10 mins before our booking however the staff were very lovely and accommodating. The restaurant on a whole inside was smaller however the ambience and atmosphere when you’re there is amazing. Would highly recommend for anyone who is seeing a show at The Eventim or nearby and would definitely go again x"

"I sat downstairs on a busy Friday night with two friends. The service was perfect. The receptionist was charming. Our waitress was attentive and skilful. We sat at a large communal table. She made helpful suggestions as we chose from the menu, kept our glasses topped up, produced all the dishes on time and was super efficient with our bill. I paid for a bottle of wine and we split the food bill. She gave us 4 separate bills without being asked to. The food was fine, the atmosphere civilised, exactly what you want on a relaxed night out"

"This place is very nice with excellent food and delicatessen but the girl serving hasn’t got a clue on what she is selling, as matter of fact I asked about an Italian cheese that she had right under her nose but she told me that they didn’t have it in store. "I made an online reservation and requested a quiet corner table, but I was seated in the middle of the bar. It seemed like no one else had reserved a table, as they had just walked in and been seated. Unfortunately, my specific request was ignored, as I have a hearing impairment. The restaurant was crowded, so they were unable to move us. The waiters spoke limited English and struggled to understand our orders from the menu. They came across as rude and dismissive. Ultimately, we decided not to eat anything because it was too difficult to order. I would not recommend this restaurant and I do not plan on returning."

"The steaks and stone bass were tasty and reasonably priced at this restaurant. The wine selection was great and well priced as well. However, the Vegan Beyond Meat burger was a disappointment, as it seemed overpriced for simply a patty with onion and tomato in a bun, lacking any sauce or creativity. The service was a bit disorganized, with the waiter struggling to bring food and drinks efficiently. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the tables were too close together, causing discomfort and hindering the waitstaff's ability to access certain seats. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not worth a high rating."

"We visited on Saturday, the night before the marathon. We booked a table. Came in, seen it was busy, so thought this is going to be good. We were seated late which was fine, no problem. We sat next to another couple, (tables were close) we ordered some drinks then our meal. Drinks arrived on our table, weren’t ours, it was the next table. We waited an hour for our starters, tables were coming in and getting served. A table of 6/8 came in and got their starter and mains before us. There was a lot of cross words at the boy in the hair band which I thought he was doing all the work and was very kind if I am honest. Garlic bread came was so dry. They kept going by saying have you eaten? Have you ordered? Have you had mains? Our mains came out an hour later and they didn’t know who it was for. The table next to us actually had to point out it was our food they heard our order. Being a restaurant manager I would like to say… 1. Don’t argue or talk to staff badly, anywhere, but especially not on the floor, I actually think it was maybe husband and wife, it’s not good in front of customers and I know it’s hard and frustrating work, but I don’t even think any of the customers were being rude, the people I heard ask where food was were all being polite. 2. We understand it was busy and every business needs money but don’t take in more people than you should. 3. When you sneeze please do it into your arm and not your hands then don’t wash them, I genuinely couldn’t believe it, hygiene is huge, especially in catering. I’m genuinely shocked I still ate my food after the person touched my plate later on. as they didn’t go anywhere near a sink or a sanitizer. Our mains were lovely. I hope the famous athlete who was in the restaurant at the same time got his food on time and amazing service. But, I do genuinely believe on a normal busy night this restaurant would be fine, just a few tweaks needed. 2 stars lost due to my hygiene comment and how they were openly arguing with one another."

"This restaurant is styled like a South African BBQ, known as a braai. If you're a meat lover, this place is perfect for you, but they also offer some vegetarian options. While they offer meat sharing platters, we decided to choose our own dishes. The portion sizes were smaller than expected for the price, so we had to order more food once it arrived. Our main dishes were tasty, but the malva pudding dessert (similar to treacle pudding with apricot flavor) tasted burnt on the outside. In hindsight, we should have ordered more main dishes instead of dessert. The service was decent, although it took a while for them to bring the bill and process payment. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a 50% discount at the end because it was January, making the meal a great value for the money."

Indigo at One Aldwych provided just that and exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, the food was made with quality, locally sourced British ingredients, and they emphasized sustainability. The dishes and desserts were delicious, the wine selection was impressive, and the location is perfect, especially if you are planning a visit to the theatre or Covent Garden. Additionally, the menu is also dairy-free. I highly recommend Indigo, whether you require a gluten and dairy-free menu or not, as the taste and quality are exceptional - you would never guess it's gluten and dairy-free."

"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"
