"I was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The food was plentiful (they offered refills of the sandwiches), fresh and delicious. I had the classic afternoon tea which is what you would expect with finger sandwiches, mini quiche, salmon bun, 2 scones (fruit and plain) as well as 5 mini desserts. My husband tried the gentleman's tea and this was outstanding. There was a plate of fish and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. There was another plate with 3 other good sized portioned sandwiches. He had an olive scone with blue cheese butter, delish! Then a mini quiche and lemon macaron. We both had a black tea which was very good as well. The view of the Thames was nice. The only downside to the experience was I asked for a different table and she said it was already reserved. However, for the entire time we were there no one sat at that table. So that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, I highly recommend."

Delicious afternoon tea. Great selection of goodies, excellent service and lovely views of St Pauls and the river. Had a very pleasant 3 hours, thank you!

View was incredible of the river and St. Paul Cathedral and surrounding buildings. Service was excellent and restaurant interior was beautiful as well. Food was good but not great. Didn’t really like the menu options.

We came here for an afternoon tea before a 2 o’clock show and I will absolutely be returning. The service was wonderful, the food was perfect, literally everything we had was so delicious. I literally cannot say enough good things about this establishment. 50 out of 10. Absolutely worth the price. View menu

We had a classic and a gentleman's high tea. It was delicious and a lovely presentation, with a great assortment of foods. We especially liked our tea. Hot and flavorful. All items were more than ample. This is very fairly priced and the setting is pretty and comfortable. Our waiter was attentive and welcoming.

We were only given the set price menu. The friend joining us had been before and asked if this was the only menu. The waiter then gave us the a la carte menu. We had been sitting at the tabIe for at least ten minutes. Also no drinks menus was given to us and we had to ask. My husband and I were very disappointed with my main course of fish. The whole dish was over salted, especially the sauce. We complained as I just couldn't eat any more of it. They did offer to get us something else but we were going to the theatre and our friend had almost finished hers. They didn't charge us for it, which was appreciated.
