Deliciously creamy ice cream and refreshing sorbet, perfect for a sweet treat or a palate cleanser.

"Came here for a pre theatre meal having checked it was on in advance, only to be told after being seated that it wasn't on over Christmas. Strike one. Starters arrived the seafood soup was very tasty, as was the chilli squid although the chillies were really fiery and the squid was a bit dry. Other that a spritz of lime there was no sauce or anything moist to dip in. Could have done with an aioli or lemon mayo on the side. Main courses, prawn burger was very tasty but chips were over salted. No need to salt the chips when there is salt on the table, as there is no way back from oversalination. My partner found the cod very bland alas. Desserts, the apple pie and the marmalade sponges were both very tasty, but for both the custard could have been warmer. Ambience was decent, interesting decor that certainly draws the eye, especially a large Jackson Pollack style canvas on the far wall. Coatroom service was also a positive. Overall, not the worst experience but not the best either."

"Pretty disappointed as it was my husband's 40th birthday treat. I've been here in the past on a number of occasions and have always felt in safe hands however the whole experience, this time, was underwhelming. Waiters did not seem confident with the menu. The starters were okay but generally lacklustre. The steak was very chewy and gristly and my cod dish was very green and slimy, lacking in flavour and any texture other than mush. The bread was delicious however I resent paying £90 odd quid for a meal where the bread is the highlight. Didn't risk dessert. Went to M&S instead."

"I go to Albion a lot for business lunches as it's round the corner from my office. Food is always good (menu is extensive) and service is always friendly. My only criticism is that three staff will ask to take your order within the first 5 minutes you're there, but you can't get hold of anyone for a coffee or the bill at the end of the meal... every time. So if you're in a rush to leave, allow plenty of time to try to grab someone to pay."

"Riva has a lovely outlook and is a great setting for dinner with friends. The menu choices are great contemporary dishes. The food preparation is of a very high standard and the service attentiveness the same. We love this place and will be back, a lovely place on the river in Gravesend."

"I am a regular at Yautcha, and decided to introduce my friends to this place who was here on holiday. I would always recommend this restaurant to people however I was really disappointed by the service received here that day. Once we got there, the lady guided us to the bar where we enjoyed our drinks and was told we could stay there here to finish them. Once we were ready we were guided to our table however just seconds before we got there, someone took our table. We were told to stand on the side for over 5 minutes, which would not be an issue but it was such a tight space we felt so uncomfortable standing there whilst people were trying to get through. We finally got escorted to our table. We felt that given that situation, it would have been a great gesture that the waiter looking after us offered something on the house for the inconvenient, however this did not happen as we were rushed to give in our orders. We then requested if it was possible to at least have our drinks given to us on the house, and instead of the waiter kindly telling us he would look into this or that he couln't give us this, he had started interrogating us with questions like do you think that is a long enough time for us to give you a free drink which was just not appreciated especially when we had spent a good amount that night and are regular paying customers. We were eventually given then drinks for free, which we appreciated the kind gesture but it felt like we were being treated like charity. We then continued to order our starters and main which was absolutely delicious. When we got to our mains, and the food was served, we asked our waiter if he could bring us 3 sets of cutlery, he returned with two. We then said, sorry we needed 3, he then replied in a rude manner, could you have not told me that before, now I have to go back? By this point, we felt so un-welcomed here and wanted to leave. I wanted to leave this honest review as we felt so dissapointed from this service."

"Love at first and repeated sight. Have been alternating visits to Yauatcha Soho and Yauatcha City and both remain my favorite restaurants. though for some reason, Yauatcha City prices have risen, unlike in its Soho sister branch. Nevertheless, the food is still as delicious as ever. Extremely appreciated is also the fact that staff is always extremely attentive and friendly regardless of how much you order. Great for a treat to yourself, a get-together with friends, a Sunday brunch, a special occasion, business lunch. Good for foodies. Less for quiet, intimate conversations, but great to celebrate life and love of extremely good food."

"It's okay. The service was friendly and they were good to take a photo. On the website, however, they advertise a 3 tapas deal for 12.50. We came to see a sign outside 3 tapas deal for 14.50. I wasn't amusing. The waitress then apparently had no idea about the deal and went to check. Deal for 14.50. Well, I notice that the deal was online anyway. We order, generally enjoy the food and receive the bill. The deal was not taken into account. The waiter says we should have let the waitress know. That upset me when I'm pretty sure she asked him. It was only approx. 5.75 saved and had to choose 2 dishes from the sections. I previously recommended this restaurant on another side, but this experience has upset me. They need to change their website and educate their staff."

"I visited Allium to pick up two pizzas to go, and the entire experience was a disaster from beginning to end. Although the restaurant was empty, I had to wait about 30 minutes only to be informed that they had no pizza boxes for takeout. Instead, I was offered the option to carry the pizzas on plates down the street. So, we opted to dine in. Honestly, I think frozen pizzas from Iceland would have been a better choice; they were awful. The crust was as hard as cardboard—probably frozen beforehand—with just some extra cheese thrown on top. This definitely doesn't reflect the quality of a top chef!"

"First we seen a mouse. There were five other people that saw the same mouse. Our dessert was apple crumb it came out on 8” pizza dough with maybe 10 pieces of apple no crumbs. We will never go back and will I will bad mouth your restaurant till the day I die. I wish I had taken a picture of the mouse that came right up to out table! "I visited in March 2013 and compared to my favorite steak restaurant in Miami (The Red Steakhouse), I was disappointed that I couldn't find anything as good in London. However, now that I have discovered The Bull Steak Expert, this will be my number one place in the city! I tried the lomo, which was cooked perfectly with a pink, juicy interior that literally melted in my mouth. The meat was delicately seasoned, making sauce unnecessary. I also tried humitas as a side, a tasty Argentine dish I had never had before. Additionally, the Provoleta cheese starter was amazing (but let's be honest, when is grilled cheese ever bad?). I enjoyed it all with a glass of La Fraccion Malbec. The service was very good, prices were affordable, and the atmosphere was cozy, perfect for a casual dinner. I recommend booking in advance as the restaurant was full on a Friday. I will definitely be coming back!"

"The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was excellent. I will definitely return. The service was top-notch, the meal type was dine-in, and the price per person was between £1-10. The food received a rating of 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4."

"Wellington exceeded our expectations! We stayed there on Saturday afternoon and the terrace was full. The terrace is located on a very busy corner, so people watch and energy is great. Many people sit outside and enjoy their drinks and a beautiful sunny afternoon. We sat at the top in their dining room and had a nice table at the window, overlooking the terrace from above. We ordered the Grilled Sea Bass with Chorizo, grilled paprika, baby potatoes and broccoli as well as the Chicken Portabello Mushroom Pie. The cake was good, but not great... Next time I would try another cake, probably the Steak Pale Ale cake. The grilled Sea Bass was however INCREDIBLE! So fresh, light and tasteful. One of the best dishes we had throughout our journey to Europe. Wash it with a Nicholson Pale Ale and a Pimm cocktail. A real British lunch!"

"I was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The food was plentiful (they offered refills of the sandwiches), fresh and delicious. I had the classic afternoon tea which is what you would expect with finger sandwiches, mini quiche, salmon bun, 2 scones (fruit and plain) as well as 5 mini desserts. My husband tried the gentleman's tea and this was outstanding. There was a plate of fish and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. There was another plate with 3 other good sized portioned sandwiches. He had an olive scone with blue cheese butter, delish! Then a mini quiche and lemon macaron. We both had a black tea which was very good as well. The view of the Thames was nice. The only downside to the experience was I asked for a different table and she said it was already reserved. However, for the entire time we were there no one sat at that table. So that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, I highly recommend."

"Very disappointing. I have enjoyed eating at Bill 's several times over the last few years, mostly at the Berkhamstead branch. Last night 's visit was far below the modest standard we have come to expect. Tuesday night is not usually a busy night and there were almost as many staff as customers at around 8pm. Perhaps bored out of their minds, the waitresses were deep in conversation with the waiter around the till and apparently forgot what was expected of them once our orders were taken. The food and simple drinks eventually arrived after much prompting, brought by the very apologetic waiter. The platter starter was very nice but the burgers weren 't. The well done one was too dry while the medium was under cooked and the bun was stale and fell apart, as if it had been inexpertly thawed in a microwave. The chips were limp and not crisp. In previous visits, all had been just right. The point of a limited menu is to ensure a consistently high standard. The chain needs to decide whether it is going to close this failing branch or invest in some proper management to bring it back up to scratch."

"Visited Bill’s in Chichester for the first time for a goodbye brunch with my daughter. All the staff made us feel welcome from arrival. Service was prompt, friendly and polite. However there was a mix up with our order and my daughter ended up with a vegetarian rather than vegan breakfast. The way this was handled was superb. As soon as they were aware of the muddle the ‘offending’ breakfast (that looked really good) was scooped away. A new vegan breakfast came quickly. The FOH manager also offered to take mine away so we could eat together. He was utterly charming as were the rest of the team. The breakfast was also taken off the bill. A great experience and I’d happily recommend."

"the vine is overrated. for a work dinner and despite the order first my order did not appear for an hour, and that was only after I had chased the staff up. my order was delivered to another table. all the others on my table had delivered their food. When my order arrived, everyone was finished on my table. our one-hour lunch break was over, and I had to hurry to eat. I was paid a pale 2 pounds. I spent £14.50 when my burger was beaten, said the waitress, where is burger girl insulting. I can't believe that I've been addressed like that. How is this professional service? Let's not even talk about eating. chips were so overcooked that I could not eat...read more"

"Il Vicolo was by far the worst Italian food I have ever tasted out of Italy! More than the awful food it was the entitled attitude of Bianca. Three dry melon slices with prosciutto was our starters (coming in at c.£16 melons reminded me of my student days and Tesco value food or Lidl or Costco. This was followed by the most absurd concoction of so called authentic Italian pasta (special of the day! … ‘linguine con frutti di mare’ ie Linguini with sea food … this came with (de-frosted Mussels and SALMON! Yes Salmon which is found in abundance in Mediterranean (sarcasm! as it’s been sold to London public. This was an absolute disaster! More than the horrific food it was Bianca’s atrocious entitled behaviour towards my partner (who is Italian from Tuscany and I. She wanted to convince us that this particular dish had to have salmon in it! Not only did she humiliate us (which I understand from this generation comes easy , she insulted Italian cuisine and London public. Never going back! Recommend no one should."

"Breakfast has varied and delicious options. We had dinner in the pub. Always busy, loud, happy with several televisions on to watch sports. We ordered the soup of the day which was yellow pea. Comforting for the cold of the day but it could have been more tasty. The Balmoral burger is very delicious, filling. The little Haddock was a nice fried hake fillet with a big portion of peas and chips. For dessert we ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding with ice cream: delicious. Excellent and friendly attention."

"Awesome place for a good old pub toast. Chicken beef or ham, it's the way to go! Pulled pork roast is particularly good, make sure you order the cauliflower cheese bake as the side. Goes down with a nice cold British larger for £5 cant go wrong! Be sure to book a table outside if the weather is good, it's gorgeous. No umbrellas on the tables so bring sunscreen, strip off or cover up, she gets hot! Enjoy!"
