"The service at Thai Square Islington was absolutely appalling for my husband's birthday. We had to wait 50 minutes per course, and to make matters worse, one of the waiters was seen going into the kitchen and coming out with his mouth full of food. The staff seemed unapologetic and did not make any effort to rectify our missing food or mistakes in our order. The food was below standard, over seasoned and very salty, with no consistency between identical dishes. Overall, it was a diabolical performance from the staff and I would not recommend this restaurant. We had such a terrible experience that the restaurant removed the service charge themselves. We will never be going back."

"More casual dining than we recall from a few years ago, but still good. The food we had was excellent and would happily visit again. The only slight niggle was we were given a table close to the kitchen and toilets so although there was plenty of room for people to pass, there was a continual flow of people passing. I realise now though that we could have requested another table if one was available elsewhere in the restaurant. Other than this we were a very happy party of four!!"

"Le Munch is a go-to restaurant for my partner and me whenever we are in Bournemouth. The food has never let us down and we always eagerly anticipate our meals there. Our dining experiences have always been positive, from the wide selection on the menu to the exceptional quality of the food and the friendly service. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality you receive. During our most recent visit, I enjoyed a delicious burger meal and a Popeye smoothie, while my partner had the vegetarian breakfast and a Popeye smoothie. We could taste the high quality of the ingredients and the skill in which the food was prepared. We left with full stomachs and completely satisfied. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit."

"Booked here for Valentine's on the recommendation of a friend and it was fantastic, great food, excellent service (not constantly interrupting just let you enjoy your meal), slight mix-up with one of the orders but they sorted in it quickly and were very apologetic. "I booked Buenos Aires as my family had gone there for years and know they serve great steak. I hadn't been myself for at least 5 years but thought it would be a cute intimate dinner for my friends 25th birthday and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The restaurant is small but still creates a cozy environment where you do not feel like you are sat on top of other people. The atmosphere is truly beautiful and the staff and service we received was some of the best I've had in years. For 3 of us we had the 85g steak sharing platter (brilliant idea) and all of the steaks were cooked perfectly to medium. The rib-eye was my absolute favourite and the peppercorn sauce was perfection. The option to try the 4 cuts of steak was the best decision we made and we left so full. My friend who's birthday it was also loved her la cucaracha cocktails and was very happy to be celebrating her birthday in such a nice restaurant. We have all collectively agreed that this will be the next go to date night spot and I cannot wait to return!"

"Me and my family booked this restaurant a whil e back for new year as we thought it would get busy but was told when we got there was no booking under our name despite I called a few days before to confirm which they said we was booked in. The lady who I spoke to basically said I was a liar and asked for a screen shot if my reservation which I think was pretty poor. unfortunately we did have to eat there because there was no other restaurant’s available at the time we wanted. I felt that we was rushed and there was a set menu which we wasn’t aware of either. The food wasn’t bad but not worth the money that we paid. I did complain and Another lady which I think was the manager was very polite and very apologetic."

"The evening could have been a disaster as the kitchen suddenly closed without warning without us having ordered. I had a train to catch in one hour's time, so was faced with the disappointment of not eating together with members of my family before the kitchen opened again. However the waiter who I spoke to rose to the occasion and prioritised our order when the kitchen opened again. My companions were given free desert to make up for the loss of service, though by then I had left. Whilst I didn't get the full benefit of the menu, I thought the staff were really helpful and pleasant, the menu interesting and the close proximity to Paddington station ideal."

"If this was my last meal on earth, I would choose to dine in Eneko! We came across this hidden treasure during our London trip, and sadly we wish we had found this place at the start of our trip! "Loved the idea of trying Full French- food was tasty and filling, atmosphere was pleasant. The bacon and omelette were very tasty, as were the potatoes and mushrooms. Brie and baguette slightly disappointing. Frustratingly, our bill had service charge added automatically which I explained to the waiter is presumptive and not a culture we encourage (I have no intention of paying a fiver for someone to bring the plate to me). "We were welcomed with delectable bread and dips, setting the tone for the meal. The Parmah ham tigelle was a standout, reminiscent of the best ham and cheese sandwich. The crispy socca was akin to solid, torn crepe, and the roasted panisse were like chickpea fritters that resembled chips. The buffalo mozzarella salad was above average, although the addition of sardines would have enhanced the dish. The octopus and sweet potato salad was a well-executed interpretation of a common dish, while the wild mushroom and ricotta ravioli burst with mushroom flavor. The Trofie pasta with genovese pesto was simple yet well-executed. The artichoke risotto was sufficiently cooked, with a strong artichoke flavor, although the combination with Parmesan was a bit peculiar. The sage parmesan gnocchi was slightly gummy and lacked depth in flavor. The Riviera-style John Dory was well-cooked but could have benefited from more seasoning. The veal fillet with asparagus was a basic yet well-prepared dish, with a flavorful reduction and perfectly cooked meat. The Gianduja palet dessert was dense and balanced in sweetness, bitterness, and nuttiness, with stellar ice cream. The service at Rivea is of Michelin quality, and the overall dining experience exceeded expectations. It was a very good, reasonably priced meal."

"my friends and I enjoyed the 3-course party set menu 21.5) and it is certainly a good example for Mediterranean cuisine for a beginner I had the supposed fresh king skallops', served in a citrus juice. a bit cheesy, but definitiw a good choice for the starter. for my main course I decided for the restaurants recommended underwriting court, confit lamb. the lamb is slowly boiled and then pressed into a cylindrical shape. the meat melts on the rim and is very succulent a good place to go for a group dinner, reasonable price and a wonderful worth. make sure to make a reservation!"

"Chenestons is a wonderful find! We couldn’t have had a more superb experience. Leo and Julia are really excellent – their customer service is outstanding. All the other staff were equally superb, warm and genuine, I didn’t catch their names. It really is a special place and I was so excited because some of my favourite music is Glenn Miller and Al Bowlly and this was gently playing in the background which enhances the 1930s and 40s feel of the place. I was in utter heaven! The food was wonderful. We had help choosing our wine and Leo understood exactly what we liked and what would match our food and he didn’t oversell or make us choose a really expensive bottle. We appreciated this very much. The cauliflower starter was exquisite as was my smoked salmon. My halibut was gorgeous and my fiancé’s chicken pie was perfect. We visited for lunch before the Proms that evening and it really was a day we will never forget. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to come back."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"I recently visited Comptoir Libanais in Kingston and would like to provide some feedback on my experience. The restaurant's location and interior design are truly impressive and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. While the starters were enjoyable, I found the main course to be lacking in quality. Despite being served on a tagine plate, the lamb dish resembled meatballs and did not adequately absorb the sauce plus undercooked, leading to a disappointing overall taste. Additionally, the service was slow, resulting in extended wait times for both ordering and receiving our food. Upon arrival, the dishes were only lukewarm, suggesting a need for improvement in kitchen management and attention to detail. Furthermore, I found the pricing of the dishes to be on the higher side, considering the overall dining experience. It is worth noting that outdoor seating allows smoking, which may be a concern for some patrons. However, I appreciated the proactive response of the staff when they noticed our dissatisfaction, as they kindly offered complimentary tea and baklava. Overall, while there are aspects of the dining experience that could be improved, there is potential for Comptoir Libanais to provide a more consistent and enjoyable experience for its customers."
