"like most people who are eaten with eating and eating, I am against chains in general. that is because they are through their natural places that have removed the whole heart and the soul and the idiosyncracy from them. the things we actually are looking for. it must be. everything is formulated in the rule and strictly regulated by the office. it is a system that works to a certain degree. I was trying to try the new côte brasserie. since the sad defeat of Relais de venise l' entrecôte last year, there is nowhere that I can go to know in the city for simple steakfrites. we just don't have the small local family leading French bistro to the corner that's been there for years, so where else is it? they couldn't afford the high-city rentals for a start. they can only afford to get in. (maybe we don't have a good tapas bar now until ibérica can move next year.)"

"We went to Côte for a pre Christmas breakfast on the 23rd December. We had our American family over so wanted a nice place with good food and service. I couldn’t have chosen better. Lovely staff very polite and attentive. Great food of a high quality. I was so impressed. What actually did it for me was when we paid the bill. I put a cash tip on the tray after we had paid. The bill was delivered by a different waiter to the one who served us. This Waite took the tip and went over to our waiter and gave him the cash. I was so impressed with this gesture. Clearly a great bunch of waiters with strong ethics.I spoke with the manager on leaving and he too was charming and professional. So well done Côte Reigate you are a credit to the chain."

"The service was good, but the atmosphere felt a bit off. I'm not sure if they were trying to be a fine dining establishment or a casual pub. I ordered the falafel and calamari to start, and both were quite disappointing—dry and chewy, and the calamari seemed like it came straight from a frozen bag. For the main course, it felt more like a kebab shop experience, but in a restaurant where you pay three times as much. It's a shame because we had high hopes and were really hoping for a better meal. We'll definitely be looking for prettier dining options in Bath next time."

"I'm very into healthy eating and love trying new health cafes. So I was really looking forward to trying Maple and Fitz during lunch this week. The menu looked great and seemed to be a good mix between savoury and sweet food to tuck into after the gym. There was a nice variety of salads to choose from (5 in all) and a number of toppings from eggs to chicken. I went for the large salad mix and chose a mixture of 3: the samurai slaw with soba noodles, courgetti and pesto and curried quinoa salad. These tasted good but were definitely under seasoned and dressed they were a bit dry and bland. Similarly I'd like a bigger portion after a hard workout! The sweet dish I tried, quinoa and...read more"

"Cute spot with only about twenty seats. Great for Saturday morning at the market. However, not enough staff or cooks… or stovetop space. It was literally like going to someone’s house who is going to cook all of their friends different breakfasts and not being able to keep up so service overall was kind of horrible …. Was the first one there at opening; has a reservation and spot at the bar. I didn’t get my latte for a good 20 minutes and that was after my entree had already come out. French toast was good but the berry compote was cold and just took total temperature down of meal and made it like cold french toast. Latte was lukewarm at best. “Lukewarm” is a good word to summarize the entire meal and experience."

"From the minute you walk in you start to relax. Firstly a freindly welcome, next beautiful decor and well layed out. Drinks first, well it was only just midday so a **** Mary, probably the best I've had! The lime covered in fruity red pepper corns sent it to another level, then burgers...the black and gold burger, if burgers can be fine dining this is up there. Great service, lovely atmosphere, superb food and drink at reasonable price. Look forward to our next visit."

"Visited for a lazy coffee and brunch on Sunday morning to meet up with a friend. Staff immediately very welcoming and found me a table in the window to watch the world go by while I waited for her to turn up. Excellent coffee, followed by a delicious light brunch featuring tasty ham, lovely fresh bread and an ok but nothing special green salad side. Waiters were great and there but not pushy. Very good value all round."

"I absolutely love the fact that they serve breakfast all day! I honestly wish more places would do this. I always eat breakfast at different times. Sometimes you feel like eggs or porridge in the afternoon. Good on them! It was quiet on a Tuesday late afternoon early evening. Very hot day. As per most branches, wooden country cottage feel interior. For me, LPQ have always been hit and miss with any branch you visit, be it food quality, service or cleanliness. Branch was clean. Staff were really pleasant and friendly and service was fast (I am guessing this was because they were quiet). Good menu from all day breakfast to tartines, salads, breads, soups, juices, pastries, desserts and more. Vegan's are well catered for. I had the scrambled eggs on toast with roasted portobello mushrooms and a fresh orange juice. The breakfast came with two big slices of toasted bread and a side of butter. The portion size was big which justifies the price. Not cheap at all! Well presented and freshly made. Yes, I could have made this at home. Nothing out of the ordinary but nice. As I said staff were nice and happy for me to use the free wifi and do some work at the same time. I don't often frequent this branch but came by a few months ago as well when were in lockdown C-19 pandemic and got the spinach and pine nut swirl take away which was also good. Filling and tasty and not greasy. They even threw in free chocolates as it was near Easter. Let's be honest, LPQ do well on plain and simple home comforts. Nothing out of the ordinary. Branches have a nice atmosphere and staff are pleasant most of the time. Food and cleanliness are hit and miss."

"I only had one day in a lot, so I needed a brunch to count it. I got the lead of my Mancunian-turned-Melbourne friend katie for a rat. she said I would love the northern quarter and say goodbye to check federal cafe bar. it is a very antipodean place. the sign spells exactly New Zealand and Australian caffe and it lives up to that in its totality."

"Very excited to see a sign for vegan options! There were no charges, but enough and more than other places in the area. I don't know if they were underused or just weren't used to it. The service was slow and everyone seemed to run around. Everybody was nice. I was very happy that I could have a hot chocolate (first and only the holiday) request for almond milk to make it vegan! I had a cheese and cranberry pannini that was delicious and ordered a chocolate cheese cake for dessert. When it came to serve us the cheesecake, they had forgotten to take it out, and so it was frozen and we didn't have to (only other option was vanilla cheesecake, which I wasn't a fan of so I was disappointed) was a running theme that whitby vegan dessert game is not great!"

"Sat down, days ago there to do some work on my laptop. Ordered a Hot Chocolate and macarons, looked suspicious as he didn’t type it in the system after still no one checked up on me or even asked or said anything. The...table that sat down after me got served. I had times the waitress looking at me, shortly after I realized i’m not welcomed there and also i’ve been looked down by them. It took me some time since i was busy on my laptop, but i guess that could be reason why they were not welcoming. Certainly packed my bags and left slowly and steady they had the same look during packing my stuff and still did not even bother with me, just straight up left me without even consider getting my order. Would never visit and also would definitely leave lower then if i could."

"The one-man bar team was slow, the cider was off. When we went to be seated we were told there was no booking, I offered to show them my confirmation email, there was lots of chat between the two waitresses but they insisted there was no booking. Eventually they logged into the opentable app, where my booking appeared. We were told it was not their fault and they didn't know why I'd booked via that app (it's on the link from their website) When we were seated we were informed 2 of the roast meats had sold out which left only beef, at 1400 on a Sunday I was quite surprised by this and have to assume the kitchen is very poorly stocked. To be fair, the food was good but the overall experience was very underwhelming."

"I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem on a Sunday morning in a quiet neighborhood that doesn't typically have a lot of weekend restaurant and pub options. They offer a variety of gluten-free dishes on their menu, making it a great choice for those with dietary restrictions."

"The perfect stopover! I commute across the M4 frequently, and was forever fed up with the noisy services at Membury and Chieveley. Just 5-8 minutes from Junction 13, I can guarantee it's an infinitely, nicer, quieter and more tasty stopover! The staff are absolutely delightful, (as well as being situated in the beautiful village of Yattendon, if you fancy a walk around), deliciously well made coffee, cakes, sandwiches and cooked breakfasts, and plenty of easy parking. It's also dog friendly, vegan and gluten free friendly, and provides all alternative milks. Highly recommend!!!"

"2 of us went on Saturday afternoon for the Bottomless brunch. There was a great choice on the menu and our food was amazing. The staff were also really great, not rushing us and left the bottle of prosecco on the table and replaced it quickly when it was finished, compared to in some other places where you have to get the staff's attention to refill your glass. The only bad thing was that we were sat downstairs which is quite cosy but happened to be beside some very noisy tables (not sure if it was just these guests or the general acoustics), so I probably wouldn't recommend for a quiet meal, however I would love to go back with a larger group of friends as they all seemed to be having a great time."

"My husband and I visited this restaurant last week and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were creative. The standout was the friendly staff, particularly our Italian waiter who engaged us in a conversation about musicals since we had tickets on our table. It was very entertaining. I highly recommend this place."

"Our friends back in New Jersey told us to make reservations at Mulligans, Kieran the owner went above and beyond making us feel welcomed. We were only in Dublin for a few nights , there was 6 of us . Gerry and Renata got us cold drinks and hot food . The atmosphere is wonderful, you feel like family . The service is outstanding and the neighborhood is upscale but not pretentious or stuffy. Will be one of our stops the next time we are in Dublin"

"Absolutely outstanding. We had our wedding meal here for 35 people, and it was everything we'd hoped for and more. Ruta went the extra mile to make the experience special, with decorations, flowers, and all the help in the lead up to the day. Her team and the service they provided was excellent. The food was top quality, as it always is at Cote. They absolutely nailed it! Thank you to everyone who was part of the day :"
