"the high tee is what the English really love and stand for, and his that afternoon mingling that we had a chance to do in one of the luxury hotels in the world the ritz, london. the offer of tees was simply unique and delightful. among other things, that we tried, was the darjeeling first flush and the British favorites, earl grey. each tee had its pronounced taste and lasting taste. the grooming with the tee were some delicious baked, sandwiches and cupcakes. the luxurious Victorian decor, with covered decorated in gold and white, the live music played by a master pianist, the polished butler and server that deals with us in the most pleasant wise, gave us all a truly lasting experience of the quintessential afternoon must be in the British atypical day, in an exceptionally luxurious way yet do high tee in the pine"

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bread Street Kitchen Bar and indulging in their Beef Wellington experience, and it surpassed all expectations. From start to finish, every aspect of the meal was impeccable. Firstly, the Beef Wellington itself was a culinary masterpiece. Cooked to perfection, the tender beef was encased in a delicate puff pastry that melted in my mouth with every bite. The rich, savory flavors were perfectly balanced, making each forkful a delightful experience. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our dining experience was attended to. From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive servers who guided us through the menu, the level of professionalism and hospitality was truly commendable. Moreover, the ambiance of Bread Street Kitchen Bar added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The stylish yet inviting atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. In summary, my Beef Wellington experience at Bread Street Kitchen Bar was nothing short of extraordinary. "Booked this restaurant for my son's 21st . Had gone in a few days before to see the place notify them of dietary allergies. All was noted down . On the day we were seated as per my request in a booth . Took awhile for our drinks order to be taken. When ordering the appetizers I informed the waitress about the lactose shellfish allergies. Was told that they can't give guarantee that there will be no cross contamination. Which we understood. The waitress however failed to take the food order and only took the cocktails order. I then called another guy Massimo explained re the allergy . He was helpful took the order. Food was really good with regards to presentation taste. The reason for give only 3 stars is due to the service . For a restaurant of this level I would have expected more attentive service we had to ask for our wine glasses to be refilled twice. There was no shortage of staff from what I could see. Danilo was also helpful by getting us a table at the bar after we had payed the bill in the restaurant . If the service had been better I would def give this place 5 . Food , decor, atmosphere is amazing ."

"I remember when I was younger the idea of eating raw fish seemed quite strange and at that time it wasn’t hugely popular in the UK but in my late teens eventually sushi boxes started to take the place of sandwiches, Yo! Sushi became a regular haunt and I started to fall in love with Japanese food. My sister was my partner is sushi-crime and we loved the fun of the Japanese ‘Kaiten’ and sharing selection boxes from Marks Spencer and other high street places. But soon our fondness for sushi rolls meant we wanted to try the real deal. Back then there wasn’t the plethora of sushi restaurants in London that there is now but we set our sights on the very best…Nobu, Old Park Lane. Once there we clumsily held our chopsticks and we feasted on the freshest succulent sashimi, marvellous maki rolls and crisp shrimp tempura.And then the black cod arrived, the delicious flesh of the fish marinated in miso, had a sweet, buttery taste on the tongues of us young sushi novices…it was incredible…that was it…we were hooked. I’ve now revisited Nobu Old Park Lane many times, always remembering it was the first time I ever had proper sushi…But Nobu has become a bit of an addiction for me and not only do I also love the Berkeley Street branch in London but I’ve actually visited Nobu restaurants on four different continents. My favourite being Nobu Malibu, a beautiful open restaurant where you can sit nibbling on edamame beans whilst taking in a stunning view of the ocean."

"Wonderful food, as usual! Had our favorite dishes: new style sashimi is great (white fish, tuna, salmon), crispy rice with spicy tuna, king crab tempura, avocado salad, baby spinach salad with crab, black cod miso, all was good and as expected. We were able to try new dishes: Black lobster tempura was great, the lobster with truffle butter and spicy lemon dressing, is one I would order again. The best new dish we tried tonight was the Chilean Sea Bass Umami which is new on their menu, and I hope they keep it as it was excellent. Unfortunately, the artichoke salad seemed to have been missing the artichoke! As for the service, we are always ordering a few items as we go and we are used to being served promptly. This time, for most of the meal, the service was slower than usual and at the end, we couldn’t order the last couple of plates we wanted because we were rushed. We had to help ourselves with the water and the wine was not served to our expectations. In addition, a waitress coughed into her hand as she was holding our wine just prior to serving us. All-in-all, we hope it was just a one off, we hope our next experience will be as good as we usually expect it."

"What a beautiful Japanese culinary experience! I started with edamame, spinach sesame, chicken gyoza, Japanese omelette, and inari, all of which were perfect and delicious. The spicy salmon, tuna fish avocado, and shrimp tempura were also excellent. I couldn't pick a favorite because everything was so tasty with fresh seafood. Service was quick and attentive. For my main course, I had chicken katsu with rice and teriyaki chicken donburi. The katsu was perfectly fried and one of my favorites, while the donburi brought me the authentic flavors of Japan. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great food and hospitality. I will definitely be visiting again!"

"This restaurant was extremely loud for the price you pay. It was difficult to have a conversation because the tables were too close together. When paying a premium for a meal, I expect better ambiance. The service was subpar, with the staff appearing stressed or indifferent. I had to flag down the waiter to place my order, as he left before I could order my side dish. However, the food was of good quality, so credit to the chef for that."

We were very well looked after by our host Emanuela and served amazing food by the very talented chefs here Josh on the Josper Grill, Marco who made an incredible heritage tomato dish, Elliot with his oat biscuits and gorgeous desserts, Sam the rest of the brigade. "This restaurant is lovely, food is amazingly good, but recently they change management and the prices change as we’ll. That means on online website you have different prices than in restaurants. I had to pay £7 differences in restaurants besides with this small quantity of wasabi for 3 people set I ask for extra and they charge me £1. I recommend to check the price before your order."

"Skylon is a curate 's egg. The location with stunning wide river view is hard to beat, but you are literally paying for that. The staff are welcoming and attentive (apart from not taking coats, which are hard to accomodate at the tables . Skylon 's prices in particular on drinks are over the top for the fare on offer. Skylon is the 'brasserie ' end ' of the room, but two of us still paid £150 for 2 courses each and a £40 bottle of wine between us (one of few 'affordable ' options on the list . My halibut was delicious but inexcusably tepid it was cooked OK so must have sat around before despatch to table. Frankly if I have to spend that much to enjoy this venue I will stick to the Skylon Grill at the other end of the room in future at least there are tablecloths and comfy seats there ; (However, I was lucky not to book there this time there was a large and very noisy party taking place in the Grill . Heads up for the over 40 's the dim lighting makes a nice ambience but doesn 't work well with menus printed in grey, small font. Reading glasses and phone light recommended!"

"Hoi Polloi is a cool retro/hipster place to eat with 70's retro design. So if your criteria for a good restaurant is a modern/updated flashing design, Hoi Polloi is not the place for you. We came for dinner and we were left with a big smile on our faces. The selection on the menu is nice, though it's definitely not one of these menus that take you hours to read, leaving you confused with endless options, and still there's enough selection for everyone. The food was great, nice portions, well made. Hospitality was great and the staff was handy in recommending drinks. We really enjoyed our dinner. Thanks for the experience."

"Lunching with a client based close by. So many restaurants in the area have closed, Oscar a safe bet. Tried to book on line, got 90% through the process then they asked for my credit card details for a lunch booking for two at a pretty ordinary, hotel based restaurant. Seems OTT and made me uncomfortable. So I rang them, made the reservation, no credit card details needed. Daft. Staff were brilliant, great beers, food was fantastic pork schnitzel was superb but a little expensive adding chicken to the Caesar salad added £10 to the price! Added. The salad was already £20. For a Casar salad! Thus, £30 all up. Punchy."

"We are partial to an afternoon tea and have attended many. This was a very good one and we did enjoy it very much. We had a lovely table at the back of the restaurant and our waitress was lovely. The ambience and the decor in the restaurant was excellent and the location for our theatre visit was perfect. On the whole the experience was excellent and we would return. The scones were probably the best we 've had for a long time. We all agreed they were delicious. So light inside with a fine crust on the outside. Bit disappointing we had to share the jam and cream just give everyone their own to avoid the have you had enough? or pass the cream scenarios. The sandwiches were delicious too, but we felt for the money a bit mean. Just one round each, ie four finger sandwiches. Many afternoon teas in this price range would have topped up the savoury, but this didn 't happen here. No small quiches or pastries, just four finger sandwiches. The sweet cakes and pastries were clearly made on the premises and we all thought, apart from the chocolate and passion fruit that they were delicious and expertly made. None of us enjoyed the chocolate and passion fruit tart. Also, we had to ask for our tea to be topped up. The cocktails were a nice added touch, but they were very small and again, none of us like the combo of the chocolate and passionfruit cocktail. All in all though, lovely surroundings, good service and mainly delicious food with the best scones in town!"

"It is a well laid out restaurant which is fresh and bright and in general does carry a good atmosphere. However, the food did let it down for me. Not much choice for gluten free, and when I did ask for the yogurt and berries with the nuts, grains and seeds, I received a very small amount of yogurt, and was informed that there weren't many berries as they had almost run out. I also got honey at a request. It was nice but such a small amount that it was a bit disappointing. Service was okay. Everyone else seemed okay with what they had."

"I have now eaten at the sugar boat to many places and was never disappointed by the performance or exceptional quality and presentation of food. for the first time I went to this occasion to an organized master cocktails class with 8 other friends. we were shown how to make 4 cocktails and then make them themselves and then drink! what a super night. something else to do with friends. great fun, more so with any cocktail you have to say! many thanks to all on the sugar boat for great cocktails and great fun."
