"Thanks so much for a lovely meal, we visited today for my partners birthday, we was served by Emily. She was very pleasant always on hand when we needed to order something else. The food was amazing! And the atmosphere was great. There are a great team of staff who seem very happy to work there as they were all very bubbly and friendly even though the restaurant was very busy. They didn’t seem to be under any pressure. There was also another member of staff who was making a fuss of young children which I thought was very nice to see. Overall very nice F B. "I understand that it was Mother's Day, but a reservation should not have been accepted if there was no possibility of being seated close to the scheduled time. My group of six, including two young children, had to wait by the front door for 25 minutes past our reservation time. We were then instructed to wait at the crowded bar, which was being used as a makeshift waiting area. Eventually, we gave up and left as it seemed like there was no organization or control. The staff blamed the delays on the kitchen, but it appeared that they had lost control of the situation. People were cutting in line and being escorted directly to the bar, with no consideration given to those who had been waiting. It was clear that the restaurant was not prepared for the busy Mother's Day rush."

"Came to Frankie and Benny’s on Thursday evening with a friend. There was only 3 other tables in the entire restaurant and looking back it’s easy to see why! Signs on the tables suggested app service but when trying to use this and type in our table number, error message kept coming up saying there was no account open on our table. Waited another 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and take our drinks order. After eventually ordering food, we waited around 10 minutes for starters. My friend said her potato skins tasted frozen and weren’t very nice, and my crispy squid was a soggy mess. For mains, my friend had chicken parmagiana which she said the pasta was bland and chicken was cold in the middle. I had carbonara and paid extra for chicken to be added as a topping. Well… ive had nicer carbonaras from the supermarket ready meal shelf. The whole dish was obviously from frozen, the chicken was diced into tiny cubes with a weird texture and the sauce was bland. Our onion rings and corn cobs that we ordered as sides were cold. We never received a checkback and even when the waiter (a young man who seemed like he didn’t have a clue) came to clear our full plates (we both left almost the entire meals) he didnt even ask if everything was okay or seem curious as to why we left the food. Paid the bill but will never return to frankie and bennys, we heard the table next to us complaining amongst themselves that the food was bad as well. Frankie and benny’s used to be a nice restaurant, always seemed to be fresh and was always busy. But now it’s a sad excuse for an italian american restaurant. The menu hosts some of the simplest things to cook (pasta, rice etc) but the chefs can’t even seem to do this from fresh. Two of the chefs, a man and woman were too busy canoodling and flirting in the kitchen to be cooking any food anyway. Absolutely awful and a total waste of time and money."

"I celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Frankie and Benny's after another restaurant wouldn’t allow for a mascot or any of the party elements I had planned. They immediately agreed to accommodate everything, and my little girl had a fantastic birthday. We made quite a mess, but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to fully enjoy her special day. I want to give a special shoutout to Jenny and Gemma for their exceptional service. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere for a children's party. Thank you!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place. definitiw the best vegan pizza I had gone since the vegan. better than dominos and pizza hat. no competition. also the vegan “wings” were delicious and the chips with cheese were amazing and this vegan burger.... really surprised how much I enjoyed it. juicy, tasteful and free. all in all, I'd be pretty high up there. I would eat pizza again, but not dominos or pizza hat. both places were müll with vegan pizza. also pizza express vegan pizza were classified lower than here. "absolutely horrific from beginning to end. we had our 2 year old son with us, which means that meal times in the regular are made quite fast as we get the food at once and he eats quickly. not this time! we were there about 2 hours because of the shocking service. it wasn't busy and it seemed to be more employees than customers, so there was simply no excuse. highlights included: the woman asked for a j20, was brought quite another drink. small child received a color leaf and then said there were no crayons to use. he asked that all foods (beginners and main things) be brought out at the same time, we got the adult starter after about 20mins. no sign of the rest of the food. the adult starter was then deleted, and 20mins later the rest of the food arrived, including the child starter?! margherita pizza had practically no cheese on it and was flat cold, took a bite and sent him back what I have never done before! the replacement had a little more beeping, but still quite naked. had to remind the waiter several times to get cute. to dessert we ordered a coffee and an ice cream. nothing came up for over 20 minutes, we chased it up. then they brought the ice and ice. No sign of coffee at the place where we 'd finish the other desserts. I went in and canceled so we could go. the only plus point was when I asked to pay so that we could go, the waiter tried to serve the cashier and "pressed the wrong taste '. he went to another, until with a colleague, after 5mins of the head scratches, he then gave me a bill for. £9.70! Not bad for a three cursor meal for three of us with drinks. I paid and went, thought they had something for the terrible service, but about the reflexion and no one said everything I think they just messed up the bill. probably the worst culinary experience I've ever had, pathetic simply because we had a nice day and the sun seemed."

"the new vegan menu is wonderful! pizzas, soupen, hot dogs, burger, mac n cheese, garlic bread pizza, vegan mayo, ice...so much choice! really recommend the kansas city pizza the mac no cheese (cauliflower butternut squash sauce) is quite a small part, so it would be as one side to another dish, but not alone. update feb 2021: the beet burger with fried aubergine is amazing! oreo cake was also delicious. it tasted as if it had been made with whipped cream."

"It is my first time in this Frankie&Bennys but I have been many times in other ones. I came with my partner to have dinner and we were totally disappointed with the service given. The waitress a young lady, brunette and short hair took the wrong order. We wanted to have all the food together and not starters and mains as we had a cinema date.We got the starters, (never asked it they were ok) and when we got the mains (after waiting for a while) they were completely wrong and poorly presented. it was 2 carbonara, 1 with extra mushrooms and 1 w chicken and nduja sausage . We got the pasta without any bacon at all and we were like, where is the bacon? The waitress passed our order totally wrong to the kitchen, no bacon and chicken and mushrooms instead. We were offered for fresh new ones instead and this also took a long time to arrive. They came again the second time wrong, my partners pasta had no sausage this time. After being told they did it in. I asked the manager to have a closer look and once he did he agreed there was no nduja. At this point we decided to just eat as we were already too late for our cinema booking. The service overall was shocking. The waitress and waiter seemed they didn’t care at all about the job and the customers. No check backs on food even after the issues were raised. They never asked if we wanted more drinks! Definitely really poor customer service and they never tried to make it better. My advice to the GM of these place, get ride of these staff who make the brand Frankie&Bennys a really bad place to eat. They never gave us any discount or apology or tried to give us a sweet to forget the nightmare. I’ll def not coming back to this restaurant anymore!"

"My husband and I visited the restaurant today at 5pm and were seated promptly since it wasn't busy. However, we had to wait 10 minutes to place our order for two coffees and two waffles. It took 20 minutes for the coffee to arrive and another 35 minutes for the waffles. Despite the coffee being okay, the waffles were cold and extremely chewy. The dish consisted of three pieces of waffle, half a scoop of ice cream in a small bowl that only covered one section of waffle, and a small jug of syrup. We were truly disappointed with the quality of the food and felt like we should have lodged a complaint as we were unhappy with what we paid for. While waiting, I observed the chef slamming a plate down and leaving the order slip on top of the food for 8 minutes before a waitress took it away. We have visited Frankie and Benny's many times in the past and have always been satisfied, but this time we were very disappointed."

"We brought a group of 60 children and 7 staff members to have dinner at Frankie and Benny's in Peterborough (Fengate) and we were extremely impressed by our experience. It can be challenging to have so many 10 to 11 year olds in a restaurant, but we can honestly say that the 2 hours we spent there were fantastic. The food was excellent, it arrived quickly, was served efficiently, and was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every child had a great time, and the adults were also very impressed. Every member of the staff worked tirelessly, particularly 'Ben' who made a great effort to engage with the children and talk to them. The complimentary Pokémon cards given to the children were a nice touch as well! 10/10 service! Thank you."

"We attended this Frankies after having positive experience in other venues. We were greeted extremely well and showed to a table . The restaurant was empty other than the staff (9.00am ish). After ordering the door arrived very quickly and we started to eat. The...food has definitely been sitting under heat lamps for some time and was dry and hard to cut. My husband and I discussed that although we were happy pay for the food we should say something to the management team as this really was not how food in a very quiet restaurant should be presented. We told the manager our thoughts and all explained we were still happy to pay but thought they should know. The manager was very polite and offered us a free coffee and a discount on the food. It was handled very professionally and with a smile. Unfortunately I doubt we I’ll return after this experience and try another outlet at the airport. Training needed for the (chef) cooks."

"After I had a series of bad visits in our local francie and benny filialen, I was reserved to visit. after an evening event in sheffield arena, this was the only place where we could get a table. I can't believe how different it was at our earlier visits in our local. the coworkers were all excellent. they were helpful and dedicated and attentive. we fought to decide what to eat (supply for the waitress who came 3 times to our order as we lasted so long) so ordered to share several dishes. the whole food was hot and served in good time. beautiful crispy fries. the chicken parmigiana was huge and served both with a good part of spaghetti and fries. very tasty and a good coating of brotkrust with exactly the right amount of sauce. really enjoyed the bacon kartoffel skins and acid cream. my daughter had a burger who looked very nice, but she totally defeated her when it was quite big. I was honest about the quality of food and how different this experience was for others. we had a couple of cocks. the blueberry crucifixion was amazing. really refreshing and a nice fizz. the prices of the mocktails felt very reasonable, and a good selection on the menu. perfect for drivers or non-trinkers who want something more beautiful than a soft drink. a very pleasant meal and excellent evening. still shocked how different and inconsistent 2 restaurants can be from the same chain. we'll see you next time in sheffield. well made frankie and benny’s entertainment center"

"We tried four different restaurants including Suffolk Foodhall, Oyster Reach, and Harvester, but they were all too busy on a Saturday morning at 10:00. My daughter then suggested trying Frankie and Benny's. I wish we had gone there first, as they actually had plenty of seating and it was quite quiet. We went in, ordered our food, and it came out quickly. The staff were lovely and there was a nice atmosphere. I didn't realize they were still open, but the food was delicious and well-presented. The full English breakfast for £10.50 included eggs, sausage, toast, black pudding, beans, and mushrooms, all of which were cooked perfectly. The bacon was also delicious. There were 11 of us dining, and the young lady serving us was very attentive and kind. She made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The overall experience was good and clean, with a nice atmosphere for those looking for a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend trying Frankie and Benny's if you are in the area and looking for good food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there."
