"I believe Ocean terminal has the worst Frank&Benny’s I ever had a chance to visit. I had dinner in this place couple times now before cinema. Every time I was disappointed and because of how bad food was last time, I won’t be coming again… First of all Garlic bread , if you can even call it like that as it’s nothing like garlic bread , it’s pizza dough that’s absolutely drowning in oil!! Hardly taste any garlic , absolutely terrible. Buttermilk chicken burger was the worst burger I ever ate, chicken was drowning in oil !! It was so greasy that after couple bites my stomach actually started to hurt. I left most of my meal on plate. Why I planned to still pay for it even though I don’t think I should’ve since burger was cooked terribly) I was really surprised when server came to take dishes and saw my plate was half full, she didn’t even asked was there something wrong with food. This wasn’t the first time I was served terribly cooked food here but it was definitely worst."

"was exited to go to frankie and benny’s after a long day in cardiff, and was soon very disappointed when we ordered our food and it then took over an hour for our food to actually arrive. bare in mind there was only two other people in the whole restaurant and was not busy in the slightest. we had all ordered off the kids menu which we had thought would take a quicker time to arrive. we waited over an hour for the food to arrive and when we asked the server how long our food will take she said 5 minutes, this was wrong as it then came 10 minutes later at which this time we were all very upset and very hungry. when the food finally came the wait was not worth it!! i ordered pasta and mashed potato, the mash potatoes was dry and chewy and the pasta had no flavour and was just bland. Because of the awful service we decided that it would be better to takeaway our desserts instead of wait longer to eat them in the restaurant. the chef had told us the desserts will be two seconds and we had to wait another 10 minutes and on top of that they didn’t give us any cutlery and so we had to eat our ice cream with our hands. very upset and disappointed and this disgusting behaviour. not visiting ever again."

Service was slightly slow and had to ask for the kids desserts, but staff were really positive and good with the kids. Would be hair to go back again. "I understand that it was Mother's Day, but a reservation should not have been accepted if there was no possibility of being seated close to the scheduled time. My group of six, including two young children, had to wait by the front door for 25 minutes past our reservation time. We were then instructed to wait at the crowded bar, which was being used as a makeshift waiting area. Eventually, we gave up and left as it seemed like there was no organization or control. The staff blamed the delays on the kitchen, but it appeared that they had lost control of the situation. People were cutting in line and being escorted directly to the bar, with no consideration given to those who had been waiting. It was clear that the restaurant was not prepared for the busy Mother's Day rush."

"My family and I visited this restaurant yesterday 17/6/23 our server Elif was welcoming, polite, and attentive. We had a very pleasant meal, served in good time..it was very well presented, and lovely and hot! We ordered drinks as well as jugs of water.. we were all very warm! The restaurant was very pleasant to sit in with the air on working well to keep us cool and comfortable.. After our food arrived I specifically asked for some coleslaw.. and I later learnt that the manager had sourced some from a neighbouring restaurant as they were sold out! I was truly blown away by the lengths that the staff went to to make our experience as enjoyable as it was! It’s hard to find a restaurant now-a-days where you can go and have such a lovely overall experience! The team went above and beyond and I feel they need recognition for their hard work! This is not the first visit we made.. and due to a pleasant experience the first time, we returned and the standard was just as good! Special mention for Gerald, thank you so much for the slaw! Hugely appreciate the effort you went to! Exceptional team at F&B Cribbs! Highly recommend anyone considering a trip! You won’t be disappointed!"

"We celebrated our anniversary with a meal in Lancaster, and we were not disappointed. To be honest, we usually visit Frankie and Benny's every week for our indulgent meals since it’s our local spot. The waiter was really funny, and the manager was very pleasant. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, while my partner chose fish and chips. I was sad that I couldn't finish my meal because it was such a large portion, but we both enjoyed our dishes. For dessert, they initially brought the wrong item for my partner, but they quickly corrected it. I had the keksteig and karamellsonne, and my partner had the vanilla cheesecake with salted caramel sauce, both of which we absolutely loved. Additionally, we received 50% off through the app, which made it even better, especially with those generous portions!"

"I celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Frankie and Benny's after another restaurant wouldn’t allow for a mascot or any of the party elements I had planned. They immediately agreed to accommodate everything, and my little girl had a fantastic birthday. We made quite a mess, but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to fully enjoy her special day. "Interesting visit. Firstly, we experienced no problems due to Coronavirus or the Eat out to help out . No difficulties with their safety processes, or having to wait for food. All the front of house staff were great, attentive and friendly. The food...it was VERY hit miss...the ribs, the chicken (breast, wings Southern Fried) was lovely. The fries were gross, like little splinters of balsa wood. We always have a side of fries with any meal, and the side of fries tonight was untouched, along with most of the fries with our respective meals. The steak that came with my 'Ultimate Grill ' was the most God-awful piece of meat I 've ever had put before me!!! They gave me a steak knife that struggled to cut the meat!!! In the main i dont really fully blame the kitchen, obviously they dont source the food, they just cook what they are sent, whether that be cheap and nasty frozen chips, or cheap nasty cuts of rump steak...but...I 'd still like to think that someone in the kitchen should be attempting some kind of quality control over what goes out... Not a completely ruined night, but for £80 spent, i expect better."

"My partner and I went to this restaurant for the second time in two weeks. The first time we went, the service was not great and the waiter made mistakes with our orders because they didn't speak English well. However, on our second visit, we were able to use a voucher that we hadn't been able to use before. The service was better and faster this time. The food was tasty, although my partner's crab dish was still frozen in the middle and had to be sent back. When it finally came out, it was delicious. This restaurant may not be the best choice for a quiet evening out, as there were always children dining and it could get quite noisy."

"the new vegan menu is wonderful! pizzas, soupen, hot dogs, burger, mac n cheese, garlic bread pizza, vegan mayo, ice...so much choice! really recommend the kansas city pizza the mac no cheese (cauliflower butternut squash sauce) is quite a small part, so it would be as one side to another dish, but not alone. update feb 2021: the beet burger with fried aubergine is amazing! oreo cake was also delicious. it tasted as if it had been made with whipped cream."

"Came in for a meal after a trip to trafford Centre. Really fast service, nice food, decent prices. Kids meals are a very generous size, even the smaller bites! Love that they gave kids colouring sets and also really liked that steak was on the kids menu, I’ve got a 5 year old who is a huge fan of steak but normally can’t order it as a child. Only thing I didn’t like was the strawberry and lime ice cream cake because it tasted like a frozen cheesecake but that’s down to personal preference. "The appetizers were excellent, but the main courses were just average. I mentioned it was a birthday celebration when booking, but the restaurant did not have the online booking information. When we arrived, I informed the receptionist about the birthday, but they seemed unaware. The waiter seemed busy throughout our meal, and the birthday candle only arrived after we had finished everything."

"I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask , the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep it up, guys!"

"My husband and I visited the restaurant today at 5pm and were seated promptly since it wasn't busy. However, we had to wait 10 minutes to place our order for two coffees and two waffles. It took 20 minutes for the coffee to arrive and another 35 minutes for the waffles. Despite the coffee being okay, the waffles were cold and extremely chewy. The dish consisted of three pieces of waffle, half a scoop of ice cream in a small bowl that only covered one section of waffle, and a small jug of syrup. We were truly disappointed with the quality of the food and felt like we should have lodged a complaint as we were unhappy with what we paid for. While waiting, I observed the chef slamming a plate down and leaving the order slip on top of the food for 8 minutes before a waitress took it away. We have visited Frankie and Benny's many times in the past and have always been satisfied, but this time we were very disappointed."

"My partner and I decided to dine at this restaurant tonight because we were impressed by the cozy atmosphere, stylish design, and tasteful music. The service was excellent, although at times there was a longer than usual wait for the bill. However, with the option to pay using the tableside payment app, we were able to avoid waiting for too long. The drinks were fantastic, although on our last visit in November, I was unable to have alcohol as I was 9 months pregnant. I requested a milkshake made with a milk alternative, and although they didn't have milkshakes or other dairy-based drinks available, they were able to accommodate my request by offering a delicious mocktail instead. Our go-to order is always the chicken and rib combo, and on one occasion when I received a chicken leg instead of a breast, they kindly replaced it without any fuss. Overall, we have always had a great experience dining here and have never encountered any issues with our orders."
