"Sisha is one of the best in London but not all flavours are good quality and it is also not always same standard, when it is good it is super good, when it is bad you can't smoke more than 20 minutes. Mayne it depends on preparation. They should more often ask how the sisha tastes and learn from feedback. Food is average. Service is good. Ambience is great."

"After waiting over 2 hours for our food, we were disappointed to be greeted with a greasy and sloppy box of food. When we called for an update, we were met with a rude and incoherent response, indicating that the person may have been intoxicated. We will not be dining at this restaurant again. Good luck to them if the Health and Safety Executive comes for an inspection."

"The service at this restaurant is friendly and accommodating. Even though I had never been here before, when I requested creamy cauliflower with my order and was told it wasn't available, one of the workers (I wish I had his name) offered to make something special for me. I was extremely grateful, and the dish he made was the best I've ever had. The rest of the food was also delicious. I would recommend this place in any case."

"I dropped into the Barley Mow while my wife was in a dance class at a nearby studio it had already been a long day and I was ready for a quiet pint! After walking through the surrounding area, dodging ferraris and wealthy tourists...taking selfies in front of the Connaught hotel( it was very refreshing to find a normal pub in the heart of the overpriced madness! The Barley Mow is artfully dishevelled, but boasts a good selection of beers (for a macro-brewery-owned pub) as well as a decent range of gin and whiskey. Everything is surprisingly reasonably-priced and there is a homely and welcoming feel to the place. I don’t know how they have managed to keep this oasis of normality in the middle of such an ostentatiously affluent area, but long may it continue! Definitely recommended for a quick drink and a quiet sit down while shopping/sightseeing!"

"After a fantastic afternoon and evening spent with friends at the Hanover Tap Edinburgh our group of 14 were eventually left with just 4 of us. We tried to buy another drink to say goodbye to each other but the young lady behind the bar refused to serve us. I asked her why and she said that we were all drunk. I asked if one of us had misbehaved or acted out of order she said no but that as we had been there several hours we must be drunk and she would not serve us. We are all in our late 50’s our conduct at the pub was exemplary but she still wouldn’t serve us. As a group we had spent in excess of £1000 on food and drinks but she was having none of it. Shame to end a fantastic day that way. The young manager should rethink how she treats good customers. We as a group will not be returning to the Hanover Tap Edinburgh"

"I went to Shoal Hill for the first time with my mom. It was a great opportunity for us to catch up and spend time together. We had booked a table for lunch and were greeted warmly upon arrival. We ordered the fry with two types of meat and the Sunday fry with meat. However, I was disappointed when the meat arrived as it was very thin, which made me think it was pre-packaged and microwaved. I couldn't even tell what type of meat it was due to its appearance. The mashed potatoes were served in a large portion, which was a bit too much for me. They tasted fresh, but the roasted potatoes were not crispy at all and seemed to have been microwaved. In the end, we left feeling unsatisfied and decided we wouldn't be returning for Boxing Day. I prefer when my meat slices are freshly cut from a joint."

"I regularly order pizza, burgers, and spicy fritters from this restaurant. Occasionally, I also enjoy chips with cheese, pakoras, and donner kebabs. I have never had any issues with the food, and the staff are always accommodating of food allergies. They also patiently wait for you to make a decision. "We sat in one of the pods, which were fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, we had to wait an hour and a half for our starters and nearly an hour for our mains, which was quite excessive, especially given the high prices. "I recently visited Chiquito on Riverside in Norwich with my family to celebrate Father's Day. The food was fantastic, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Each of us chose a different dish, all of which were delicious. I opted for the Chicken Enchiladas with hot sauce, though next time I might try the spiciest option as it wasn't as hot as I had hoped. My daughter had the chilli beef tacos with mild sauce, which had a bit more heat. The tortilla chips starter was tasty, and we even got to wear sombreros to embrace the Mexican theme. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly and attentive. The only downside was the slow service when requesting the bill and waiting for payment. However, they do offer the option to pay using their app at the table. Despite this minor inconvenience, we were happy with our overall experience. I highly recommend trying the Mexican Mess dessert."

"We had made a reservation at The Wilderness a while back, but unfortunately our plans were disrupted by COVID. Finally, we were able to visit for lunch on Saturday, and it was definitely worth the wait. We chose the ten-course tasting menu along with a couple of glasses of their 'hacked' wines. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and water, and our meal began. The variety of dishes was outstanding; from crispy pig cheek with apricot gel, to steak tartare, turbot, and mackerel. Standout dishes included a delicious beetroot ice-cream with a rich ajoblanco, and a fantastic mushroom and 'bread pudding' that was like a gourmet version of mushrooms on toast. The service was excellent, each course was tasty, and the wines, especially the Chardonnay 2.0 and the Vermouth, were top-notch. While the meal was on the pricier side, the quality of the food, service, ambiance, and music made it all worthwhile."

"The waitress brought he wrong order. We told her twice but she was confused. Seized the plates on our table and left. We ordered a Breakfast that included juice. Never came. Coffee was included in the meal we ordered but she charged us for coffee and then said the machine was broken and did not refund us. A 50 pound breakfast Renee up costing 95 pounds. So I paid 132 dollars for a breakfast I did not order. Also we got charged for for cafes cause the waitress took my husband drink when it was still half full. This is a nice place to eat but I would never return. I should have just told the manager but I didn’t want to be a Karen. But ordering breakfast is not that complicated."

"RACIST staff. I asked if there were any promotions prior to ordering. No promotions after 12am . OK fine, no problem. I then proceeded to order a calzone whereby I can chose any four toppings. When I asked the staff to explain the toppings I got asked have you never been to a pizza shop before Ofcourse I have but I haven 't physically seen the toppings so I would like a little guidance please I responded. Then the main guy taking the orders said something along the lines of are you not British/ you don 't know how to speak English I immediately thought to myself. I 'm being victimised because I wanted to know what the toppings were. It wasn 't even that busy. I took my business down the road to speedy pepper No racism there)."

"I made an online reservation for 9 people through OpenTable and received a confirmation email almost instantly. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, they didn't have any record of our reservation. Fortunately, there was still space available for us. It could have been a bit awkward since we were gathering for Easter Sunday dinner from different parts of the country, but the staff was very accommodating and handled the situation well."

"I went into Big Johns Selly Oak last night and I was very dissapointed with the customer service. I only ordered a chicken fillet burger meal. I was charged I paid and waited and waited and waited. I told one of the staff it...was daylight when I came in and now it's pitch black outside. I don't think he could speak English. So I asked the guy who served me at the till. His reply was two minutes we are just waiting for chips minutes later I collected my order and when I got back in my car to eat the food the chips were undercooked. I was in Big Johns for exactly minutes. I don't mind waiting for my order but if there is going to be a massive delay, I would appreciate being told. If your after fast food, I would strongly reccomend you avoid this place."

"Went for dinner before going to a show at the O2. We were running late for our booking due to tube delays, but when we arrived the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We both had steak which was excellent. Would definitely go back again. Service was exceptional."
