"I went to Shoal Hill for the first time with my mom. It was a great opportunity for us to catch up and spend time together. We had booked a table for lunch and were greeted warmly upon arrival. We ordered the fry with two types of meat and the Sunday fry with meat. However, I was disappointed when the meat arrived as it was very thin, which made me think it was pre-packaged and microwaved. I couldn't even tell what type of meat it was due to its appearance. The mashed potatoes were served in a large portion, which was a bit too much for me. They tasted fresh, but the roasted potatoes were not crispy at all and seemed to have been microwaved. In the end, we left feeling unsatisfied and decided we wouldn't be returning for Boxing Day. I prefer when my meat slices are freshly cut from a joint."

Fish mash peas parsley sauce as it says on the tin. No refinement just like your nan would serve it up. Roast meat is heated up. You can't deny that. Eaton mess made with blueberries..Staff were friendly. Not for foodies by any means
