"I enjoyed the food and variety at this restaurant. However, some of my pickier family members struggled to find appetizers they liked. The service was welcoming, and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere. Some customers seemed to be a bit rowdy due to alcohol consumption, causing some noise disturbances. Despite this, we were satisfied with both the delicious food and the attentive service provided by the staff."

"Service was excellent. Wide menu choice on a Sunday, we went for the Sunday roast option and all had roast beef the meat was cooked beautifully. If you like big portions possibly won’t fill you up so would need to order some extra sides. Will definitely be going back. We have tried most restaurants in ealing this is definitely one of the best, highly recommend"

"There for a corporate breakfast first thing so wasnt bothered about any atmosphere. However i had avocado on toast with extra bacon. The avocado was so minimal it almost didnt cover the bread. It came with 1 slice of bacon which was tough. I had to stand up to get attention to order another tea and do the same again to get the bill even though there was only one other table with people in the whole place. So many better places for breakfast."

"I had a great time at this restaurant. My girlfriend thought her steak was overcooked (difficult to judge reliably). The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, giving us space but also knowing when to check on us. I personally thought my food was cooked perfectly, but my friend had a different opinion. Overall, I still enjoyed my experience and can't blame the service at all. However, because of differing opinions, I can't give it a 5-star rating. It's true that you can't please everyone!"

"The food was good but the service was poor from one member of staff. Our order was taken professionally by a young lady with a dark pony tail (no problem with this lady). We had ordered tap water which did not appear so I collected a jug myself. We had also ordered olives and bread to share between 4 of us. The olives arrived promptly but with no bread. After a further 10 minutes I went to the counter and asked the other lady with fair hair about the bread. She just curtly replied “Yes” with no apology. She eventually sauntered over to the kitchen area to get It. We then realised we needed small plates to dip our bread into the oil and balsamic vinegar. When requested these were casually served in an abrupt manner. The restaurant was very quiet so there was no excuse for this. Our main courses were served politely by a bearded gentleman. It was just the one lady who spoilt our lunch. Maybe there is a language problem."

"I go to The Plough fairly regularly for food and drinks but always leave feeling a little underwhelmed and overcharged. The ambience and atmosphere is always great; both inside and outside you’ll get a great buzz and a pleasant place to sit. The menu is on paper excellent. I’ve eaten there for brunch and dinner and there is something for everyone. Most recently I had a full English there. It cost £16 and the plate was mostly filled with pretty sorry looking undercooked mushrooms and tomatoes. The one sausage was very nice but the streaky bacon was a bit chewy. For £16 it was underwhelming, which is a theme that translates to the dinner menu as well. You rarely feel like the food matches the price tag. This overpricing extends to drinks as well, which are far more expensive than in similar local gastropubs. I lot of people like The Plough and I can see why but if you’re into food there are better local options that won’t hurt your wallet as much."

"the service on a friday night dining at 7.15 was dreadful. Our starter came reasonably promptly but we had to wait 30 minutes for the main. The staff were apologetic when we complained . We felt that there were too few waitresses who were not properly trained. They walked by tables which needed clearing, stopped to sip their drinks at thebar and did not keep a good eye on their customers tables. The bar staff allowed a multitude of dirty glasses to stand on the bar so they then had a huge quantity to wash. so disappointed since Browns are excellent in London. we will definitely not go to the Liverpool Browns again."

"we sat outside in the restaurant because of kovid, unfortunately my handy was stolen by a person who came on our table. without any employee outside, or safety gift this is an insecure environment and I would warn others to eat outside. soon after a watchman of another facility (via the road) came over and warned me of the opposite and a laptop on the table (I had withdrawn to use my laptop to get in contact with the family after my handy) I tried to talk to the staff and the manager who would be totally inadequate, insensitive and repulsive of the incident with many beautiful restaurants that I would recommend to the"

The only gluten-free dessert available was sorbet. Unfortunately, the restaurant was empty when we visited, which created a lack of atmosphere. Although the pub has a good reputation, our experience last night did not live up to our expectations."

"The food at this restaurant was decent, falling somewhere between good and bad. The service was hit or miss, ranging from satisfactory to lacking. When the server did attend to our table, it felt hurried, resulting in us feeling rushed as well. Although it wasn't terrible, it also wasn't impressive, just okay. In conclusion, the entirety of our experience was just average."

"Was a little apprehensive on booking not a location I'd expect to find a restaurant with such good reviews but the food was sublime. "I recently celebrated my friend's birthday at this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. My partner and I shared the roll combo, which was more than enough for us. The lobster roll was delicious and a unique twist on a classic dish. Overall, I have nothing negative to say and would definitely come back. I gave it 4 stars because they cannot accommodate groups larger than 8, which meant our group of 12 had to sit separately."

"we had a table near the door. it was very unpleasant for us because we were interrupted by cold winds. 2 of my guests actually stood up to close the door several times. the service with which my guests commented (what I agree) was not at the level expected a restaurant in a 5 star hotel. the lamb (2 had this as a main) was too dry and no soaking was given. one of my guests had to ask the waiter to give him a pot sauce. in the meantime he took me some sauce from my other one who had steak. you came with truffle peppermint sauce. the steaks were big. you asked them to be cooked medium rarely, while 2 asked for medium. one of the middle steaks looked rather medium-heavy raw than medium. also here this would probably not happen if the server were attentive enough. one of my guests who had the lamb court did not enjoy it and left it unleashed. the escargots were served without their dishes and had more chilis than garlic in them. after dinner we were brought to the 8th place where we had cocktails and whiskys. that is probably the highlight of the evening."

"Made a booking in advance but had not table for us in the main restaurant area so we sat downstairs. there was not enough staff so took us over mins to order drinks and food. We were going to the theatre and explained that we need a quick turnaround but our food then took mins to arrive. Just not enough staff at busy times."
